The staff were very friendly and helpful the food in the dolphin bar was good and although a perticular Turkish dessert my daughter asked for was not on the menu the waiter made a phone call and got her some. The hotel is located at the quieter end of the beach but the hotel is not with Muzzy pumping the music out all night. The people who travel with the Thomsons group get the better rooms.

When we arrived in the early hours of Tuesday morning off the East Midlands flight we were really tired after a swift booking in procedure at reception by Simon we were quickly taken to our room 822. I pulled back the curtains and although it was still dark the view over the bay was brilliant unfortunatley my husband took seriously ill whilst we there and admitted to the universal hospital.

I can say with my hand on my heart the manager Kanan,Simon on reception, Joe and all the bar staff,Nikki our rep and the girls in the First Choice office even house keeping staff, helped me through the worst time of my life, nothing was to much trouble even taking me to the hospital and translating.

I will be eternally greatful to those wonderful people and would not only recommend to any one to go to Siesta Beach for the great apartments locality but also for the hospitality of the turkish people,we will certainly be going back when my husband is well enough to fly again.

I thought this holiday was fantastic. The hotel was ok appart from a few problems. I didn't like the way u had to put your key in the hatch to activate the lighting, also it was hanging off the wall.

Although we had a good laugh at my mum for trying to lock the door in the dark as the lights went off in a matter of seconds. The cleaners were great and it was lovely how the made a heart out of a towel wioth flower petals.

The hotel staff were great always had a laugh with and very helpful and kind. One off them fancied my sister lol and had photos took with them.

The food was great at the dolphin bar.

As this was my first holiday abroad I would definatley visit again, a holiday to remember for sure.xx

Just back from Siesta was pleased with the accommodation very clean and was cleaned regularly however it is not suitable for children. Main pool too deep for small children and childrens pool more like a paddling pool. Not even a playground.

Supermarket very limited and expensive had a playstation but only had two games which you had to pay for.

Entertainment also not very good for families as it didn't start to eleven at night no good for kids.

When leaving we paid extra twenty pounds to keep our room on until 10.00pm as our coach did not arrive until midnight, however the two cleaners were sat outside our room from eight p.m. with their stuff waiting for us to leave despite being told we were not leaving unitl 10.00pm leaving us very uncomfortable.

Also one of the staff threw my six year old autistic son who couldn't swim into the pool with no swimming aids he just took it for granted that he could swim seemed to think that it was funny my son wouldn't go near the pool the rest of the holiday.

Really only for singles or couples.

Siesta was great, plenty of sunbeds to use, nice clean are around pool. Only problem with pool is that it has no shallow end, the depth is 1.4m throughout and my 13 year old brother couldn't stand up in it, fortunately he is a great swimmer and he was never out of pool.

The baby pool is very small about the size of the average paddling pool you would put out your back. Wouldn't recommend this hotel for family's with small children who can't swim (only due to pool size and depth).

Food nice but we found it was not as cheap as we were lead to believe (British prices).

Entertainment fantastic unlike other self- catering holidays Siesta had plenty to offer, great shows.

Bar staff great and would do anything to help.

Would recommend trip to market, it also takes you to Turkish delight factory (yum) and cold centre (got me a lovely ring) reasonably prices and all 14kt gold.

Wow!!!Jjust this minute got back from my trip Gumbet after 14 hours travelling due to missed trains etc, but I am still smiling from ear to ear.

The resort was lovely and I was honestly shocked as I expected a lot worse. Very clean and tidy and the cleaners even made hearts out of towels and rose petals for us. But what ever the resort was like I still would have come back smiling as the staff at this resort are what make this holiday Amazing.

Turkey is a gorgeous place to visit with lots to do and see, but I would go back just to see those guys at the resort. Thank you all so much for a great week Muzzy and the guys. WHATEVER!!!!

My parents and I stayed in the Siesta Beach apartments, pleasently surprised when we arrived in our apartment, spacious and clean.

Siesta beach apartments are great, the beach close by is not particulary good.

I had all the entertainment I needed up in the top bar. Very nice friendly people who made you feel very welcome the moment I began speaking to them. A BIG hello to the great great bar staff, Joe..very friendly and handles the entertainment very nice guy and full of energy, Ata..again a very nice guy and very cheeky! Chino..quiet but a lovely bloke, and Chaz..a very helpful guy. Gonna miss you all....you made my holiday! and the waiting staff Aziz..always there to help and Martin..cheeky, and not forgetting the security guy Mert. Thanks for making my holiday one 2 remember.

Hayley xx

On arrival at 5am we were allocated to rooms 902/903 & 904 which were like dungeons. They were dirty, dark and very smelly so we spent the entire night outside wandering around until we could get our rooms changed later that morning. The hotel manager agreed the rooms were of an inferior quality to the others on offer by different tour operators. I suggest that anyone booking here goes through Portland (part of the Thomson group) as their rooms are 100% better than those offered by Eclipe/First Choice. Anyway, eventually we did get moved and the hotel manager was very helpful although some of our group had to spend the 1st week next door in the Tropicana Hotel but we were all just happy not to be in the dungeons.

The hotel food was good but quite expensive and drinks were very expensive but the bar staff and waiters were all excellent and good fun.

We went on the Siesta boat trip twice and it was great fun and a really nice boat. The captain and his mate - Coca were brilliant and it really is a good day out. The boats we saw Sandy selling trips on along the beach were a little cheaper but not nearly as nice and looked to be overcrowded.

Entertainment at the Siesta was different every night although it didn't start til quite late and then afterwards the music at both bars was on til about 5am and very loud if you ever needed an early night!!

All in all, we were happy at the Siesta when we got our rooms finally sorted out so please beware that the standards differ between tour operators. The difference in quality between the rooms here is incredible and had to be seen to be believed.

The hotel itself was lovely. Very pretty with flowers and drawbridges leading to hotel rooms.

We had the pleasure of having room which I can only describe as a shed. It was dark and smelly and not nice at all. Thankfully we were moved after a couple of hours to a clean bright studio.

The staff were very friendly and cheeky.

It was in a good location, only 10 minutes to Bar street and other restaurants.

i had a lovely holiday but wouldn't return.
