We have just returned from 10 nights at the Belechan Beach. The staff were very polite and work very hard. The rooms are very basic, but is only a 3 star so doing expect anything higher. The maid is a credit to this little place. A great place to stay. We always got a bed around the pool. There were no kids there, all couples and all other couples where very nice with some returning year after year.
You can hire a fridge if you want but oddly there are notices all over stating no food or drink other than that purchased at the bar is allowed, so what’s the point? The reception staff will stop you if they see you taking things in so there’s no point in having a fridge in your room.
The bar staff were very friendly and prices at the bar where reasonable. You can also use the Belechan Deluxe pool which is just across the road. Upon arrival you are given a card and all your bar drinks and food will be put on this card. We paid our bill every night.
The only fault I have to mention is if you are a light sleeper then take some ear plugs as music around bar area is going on until two o'clock in the morning - even if nobody’s at the bar!

We stayed at the Belcehan Beach Hotel for two excellent weeks June5th 2009 to June 19th 2009 our first visit was six years ago and it is still as good as the first time.
Location is about 5-10 minutes walk to main beach 15-20 minutes to Lagoon and about a 20-25 minutes to Sugar beach these times are dependant on heat and how many times you stop for an Efes!
The hotel rooms are of a reasonable size with all that you should need for a comfortable stay, rooms are cleaned daily to a high standard and bed linen and towels are changed quite regular, the air conditioning is fantastic quiet and free!
The pool and pool area is quite large for a small hotel (33 rooms) with plenty of sun beds. Pool bar serves snacks and drinks, you are given a card to purchase them, they do not take cash you have to pay at the end of the holiday.
The staff are brilliant very friendly and will do anything to help you.
We highly recommend the Belcehan and will return in the future.
