We enjoyed our holiday very much. It was excellent value for money. Despite any negative reviews we have already read on this site, we do not agree - we had an excellent time and would definitely go to Hotel Punta Jabillio again. Room was excellent - very clean and comfortable. Pools were very clean - we stayed around the main pool area and sunbeds were plentiful also parasols. Staff were very friendly. Food was good, but could have been more choice for children. On saying that there was something for everyone - we didn't go short of anything. Drinks were excellent. JMC reps were very helpful, especially Kerry - she was brilliant. Julian did his best with the entertainment - we soon got used to his bingo jokes!! There could have been more activities for children just going into their teens during the day time - but that didn't really matter. Our holiday here was first-class. The trips offered were excellent - we went on the Castaway Cruise to Fuertaventura - this was an absolutely brilliant day out. We hired a car for two days and did the volcanoe trip ourselves and also a trip to the caves. This was absolutely fantastic. Also we went to the very good market in Teguise itself. One of the highlights of our trip was a ride on the very dignified camels. All in all our holiday was excellent and we will definitely visit here again. We would recommend it to anyone.

The cleanliness was diabolical we didnt know we were going to stay with cockroaches and ants.
The food was diabolical we had very bad food poisoning we had to call a doctor out.
We had most of our gifts stolen from our 2nd floor apartment and so did many others.
Entertainment-there wasn't any my 14 yr old daughter was too young to do anything and to old for other entertainment.Very boring.
I would never come here again i wouldn't even reccomend it to anyone.

Having read previous reports from people staying earlier in the year I can't believe I've stayed at the same hotel. There was nothing for the two older kids to do, they were too old for the kids club and too young to join in any of the other activities. The reception area was dowdy and old fashioned, the room, well , we nearly died when we saw it, it was like a cheap butlins room. ( my husbands words, not mine ) We were situated away from the main area in this antiquated block that had its own family of cockroaches sharing with us. We backed onto the tennis courts which were bordered by bars that played live music until 5 in the morning. ( We couldn't sleep when we arrived home, it was too damn quiet!)
The cleaners only came in 4 times a week and most of the dust stayed for the whole 2 weeks and we didn't have clean sheets for 9 days and the temp was well into the 100's whilst we were there.
The food was very hit and miss, they re-used and re-heated plenty of it and 2 families that we were friendly with suffered with food poisoning.
This was our 3rd all-inc holiday and the worst, if we hadn't have met some lovely people the holiday would have been a disaster.

We went to this hotel last year and had a great time and decided to come back again this year. What a mistake.

The standard of food had dropped so much and meals were recycled from the previous day. Tricia and my daughter were ill with sickness and the runs on seperate occasions. I came down with food poisoning and had to call the doctor out and required injections.

When I told the reps they said its not food poisoning and was a stomach bug caused by bad eating and drinking and were not interested. As this was all inclusive I only ate and drank in the hotel so the bad eating and drinking must lie with the hotel !!!

The childrens pool was full of flaking paint and a hole in the main pool was jagged around the edges. The pool side was hosed down once on our first day so imagine what 2 weeks of spilt coke etc was like. The saftey fence at the main pool had jagged wire on it.

The room was cleaned 4 times a week but the standard was poor, dust left, sheets were not changed until i requested them after 9 days. Daughter was sick on the bed and they replaced them with thick blankets.

No hot water after 5pm, nothing came out of the hot tap. Entertainment was not even up to the standards of "Butlins" and very amateur.

With what people pay you would think something decent would be put on. Never saw the JMC reps unless you hunted them down, and when you did they were only interested if you wanted to book a trip and spend money.

Bar staff were fine with no probs and the same for the waitressing staff. I cannot believe how much this hotel has changed in 12 months and how much more we paid this year. Would I go back, the resort yes, This hotel, not if hell freezed over!!!

All i can say that is good was the weather, location and resort are excellent and met some really nice people who became firm friends. If you are thinking of going here then burn your money as you will get less agro.

My holiday was absoloutly phenomonal, The staff at the hotel where out of this world...especially Julian who was a delight to holiday with and a sight for sore eyes if ever i saw one! The night time entertainment was smashing and julian bingo skills and enthusiasm rocked my socks off.
The accomodation was top dog and we couldnt have asked for a more pleasant extablishment. It was extremeley clean, tidy and hygenic and all services were superbly polished.
The location was extreme, with hot hot hot surroundings and lots to see and do!
The food was a pleasure to eat..like liquid gold!
would i return to this resort....? Yes of course i am planning on making my appearance some time very very soon..i cant wait to see that bronze goddess Julian again!

We went to Lanzarote 2 adults 2 children, 1st of July 2004.

A lot of people were told it was a 4 star hotel but it was only a 3 star for which it was quite acceptable. It was clean and tidy they cleaned the pool everyday the rooms where very spacious with living area, kitchen, bedroom and bathroom big enough for 4 people so the the adults had the bedroom and left Amy and Abi on the sofa.

The meals were ok there was always something to eat and the kids always found something like chips or something to eat and you could have a full english breakfast which you dont usally get.

There was 2 good size pools and a baby pool. You can also hire bikes and go on bike rides out of the hotel. You could have a lot of fun playing pool bingo we all had a go but none of us won :( there are activities adults could do during the day like pool and more.

We thought it was a great holiday it was good for our first all inclusive and we would love to go again .

I am afraid anyone going to this complex will be extremely dissappointed. I will try to condense our problems which resulted in

all round,Excellent.good food,good beer.dont expect cordon bleu cuisine.good all round selection of food.

Hotel: 1970's Pontins in the sun
Rooms: Basic but ok, No air conditioning. We had a room close to the kitchen fans and bar area so quite noisy until gone midnight. Cleaners good. Often no hot water from shower.
Pool : Good
Location: close to resort centre and beach. Good.
Food: Very repetitive, used more than once. Choice of foods didnt go together. Snacks poor.
Entertainment; Average, Dodgy 1980's cabarets & Bingo
Day time activities: Good. Rifle shooting,Darts, Skittles,Archery,Football etc.
Reps : Very good especially Kerry
Animation team: Sandra very good and enthusiastic. Julian not quite got the grip of things. Thinks he can play football- He cant.

Summary: Air con needed in bar, restaurant & rooms. Food needs to be a better quality. Kids run wild in the evenings. This is the 6th all inclusive holiday we have been on and its the worst. nice little resort. Volcanoe trip and comedy club trip well worth doing. Cant believe some of the reports on this site about this hotel, some people have poor standards.

What a shame the food let it down so badly,
the hotel its self was very clean and the pool water was checked every couple of hours.
The food was a very large disapiontment cold most of the time and can only be discribed as slops, every thing either covered in a sauce to cover the poor qaulity of meat or swimming in oil, the only good thing was the salad.
Hotel is set in a good location close to the shops and bars and not to far from a small beach.
Hotel staff are very very friendly and helpfull always smiling,one barman in perticular has lost the plot completly, he looks a bit like the man from the halifax add.but totaly of the head.
Sandra from the entertainment crew does a very good job as she has the personality and energy to carry julian (she is a natural)from what can only be called an old social club atmosphere.
sorry to say i will not return as i feel i can get better value for my money else where.
