Having visited Costa Teguise three times this year I chose this hotel to celebrate my 60th birthday, which was made very enjoyable by all the staff, rep's. and the nice people we met from Manchester, Paignton and a special thank you to Laia and Stanley

Me and boyfriend stayed here for 2 weeks NEVER AGAIN
THE FOOD WAS VERY BAD the place was full of children and the reps very rude!

The hotel was meant to be 3 star more like 2 if that. I had the worst holiday ever my boyfriend was very ill for 2 weeks from the food and lost 2 stone!

If you have kids like bingo and kids discos come here ! We will not be coming back the only thing good about this place was the couple we meet they made our holiday !

LOOKING FOR A GOOD HOLIDAY DONT COME HERE! if looking to lose lots of wieght come here.

We all stayed in the Punta Jabillo, which on reflextion was a pretty decent hotel, it was always keep immaculate.

The staff were always smiling and chatty to the kids. The two people doing the day & night entertainment, Stanley and Laia were exellent.

The location for outside entertainment was execllent. Everything was well within walking distance.

The only negative thing I could say about the place was, If you weren't fussed on seafood then there was limited choice for food available. The lounge bar room could also do with being a little bit bigger.

We read all the bad reports about the Punta Jabillio but having just returned from a fantastic holiday there can't see why people moaned about it.

It boasts the best location in Teguise over looking the Atlantic with all the big liners passing.

The staff here were so friendly and courteous all the time especially Maria in the pool bar and Stanley and Laia the entertainment team.

The hotel is very clean but why do some people not get up and throw away cups in the bin rather than them blowing all around the pool area is beyond me.

The entertainment could have been better but Stanley and Laia did try really hard it started with club dances for the kids then a game of bingo and then a singer or quiz could have done with more professional shows.

The biggest gripe for most people on this site was the food here but it was excellent, plenty of variety and always piping hot, evening meals were best 3 times a week there was a carvery twice there was a BBQ and the food was always good no complaints whatsoever.

I would have no hesitation returning to the Punta Jabillio again. Remember it is only 2* if you want luxury pay the extra and go next door to the Teguise Playa a 4* hotel

Just arrived back from this Hotel and could not believe some of the reviews singing its praises. The location is excellent and we were very lucky to have a room overlooking the sea which was the only good thing.

The food was reasonable on the first week of our stay however on the second week the number of guests at the Hotel had increased and the food quality had deteriorated considerably to the point that we just couldnt face going in there.

Some food had obviously been on display for a long time, other trays were empty therefore leaving the choice even more limited. As a vegetarian I ate pasta for 14 days as they didnt really cater for anyone who didn't eat meat.

My 5 year old son luckily (!) spotted a piece of metal wire in his pasta and my 7 year old had diarohhea for 7 days. The kids pool is much too small and parts of it could only fit 1 lilo down it and the other main pools are of one depth so unsuitable for small infant swimmers.

The beer was tasteless and we joked it was alcohol free. The entertainment room was inadequate and had no air conditioning so was uncomfortable to stay in - we ended up going to a local bar each evening therefore not making the most of the 'all inclusive' facilities you pay for.

I woudl sum this up as being a Hotel originally designed for self catering/some half board but has been changed to an all inclusive but they have not developed the restaurant facilities capable of coping for all inclusive. Catering/ bar staff are working 12-14 hours a day and we witnessed them handling raw meat (burgers and hot dogs) in between serving beer/soft drinks without washing their hands (there wasn't a sink in sight) so really am not surprised at how many people experienced upset stomachs.

I had a brilliant holiday, and miss the resort loads! The people there were so friendly, especially the entertainers Stanley and Lena - they liven up the place and are so lovely!

I thought our room was lovely - the perfect size, with lovely furniture and plenty of storage space.

The whole resort was immaculate - they really took care of it. The food was lovely, but by the second half of the week, it did get slightly repetitive, and not much choice for kids - there is chips every day though. However, we just ate out on a couple of nights just for a change of scenery - I know it was all inclusive but it was cheap to eat out, and really nice esp the Slow Boat Chinese restaurant, they really look after you, and even gave me a butterfly mini clip as a present!

I think this resort is ideal for families with children under the ages of 12, and also couples.

When we booked the holiday we were told that the hotel was rated as a 3 star hotel, this I think has been highly exaggerated and I would rate it as a 2 star at best, the food was absolutely disgusting and we found ourselves eating out in local eating houses.

The staff were amazing, they worked long hours and were always on the go ,(either cleaning up after some of the residents mess, I could not believe that some of the guests were so dirty , which made me ashamed to be English as the staff probably think that we all live like it at home) or working the bar.

The room maid service was a complete sham regarding sheet changing, (every 9 days) and the rooms were not cleaned properly.

Some of the staff were really good, especially Jose, Maria, and Tara the receptionist, which we found to be a constant source of information. We have stayed at this resort before and will come again, but not to the Punta hellhole.

We thought the hotel was very clean. The toilets and floors were constantly being swept and cleaned. Our room was lovely spotless when we arrived and cleaned 4 times in the week that we were there.

We were all inclusive and found the food better than expected there was plenty of it plenty of variety and it was always hot plenty of choice for the children. Snacks in the day and evening could have been a lot better though.

The hotel is situated right on a promenade 2 minutes walk to a lovely little sandy cove. We took bread down every morning to feed the hundreds of fish. Great fun for the kids. Also just 2 minutes to shops and bars

The hotel staff were all very pleasant and helpful
The entertainment could have been better there was a mini disco every night for the kids. Bingo every night we also had some Spanish dancers and a parrot show the rest of the entertainment was provided by the hotels own entertainers who always did their very best and were a good laugh
