We booked this hotel early Feb this year before we accessed this site.

We saw some of the previous postings and have to disagree with comments made last year.

Food plentiful and decent quality. Staff very friendly
rooms clean and tidied. The only very small grumbles would be the lack of sunbeds (due to people getting up in the early hours to put their towels out).

It is a good 20 min walk to town centre so if you are with kids, you may well have to get a taxi or mini train back to the hotel.. PS we were warned that there was some cosmetic work being carried out on a hotel next to the Fiesta beach. Nothing to worry about as it is landscaping and painting of the exterior. All in all I would recommend the hotel as it is in the quiet end of the resort. Enjoy !

I also booked this Hotel prior to visiting this website, after reading some of the reviews on here I worried that I may have made a mistake. However upon arrival my worries were quickly put to rest.

The Hotel is constantly being cleaned and although the quality and finish of some of the workmanship is questionable I felt it was good value for money and not so big a place that you couldn't strike up a rapport with some of the staff who were all very obliging and hard working.

The waiting staff work extremely hard and have a good grasp of English and can remember exactly what you ordered and for whom!

Of the food the breakfast was best, although there was always something for everyone and food was always being replenished I felt that there was too much of an attempt to please the English pallete.

Location for us was great, within easy walking distance of resort centre, yet located far enough away to avoid the hustle and bustle of the street sellers.

Entertainment consisted of the same three piece vocal group all week who turned out the same performance everynight, although they did put on Karaoke on a couple of nights (to please the English?)only a few die hards attended. So if you are looking to be entertained then this is not for you!

Like almost everyone else who reviewed this Hotel (and probably many other Hotels) the theme of empty sunbeds with towels on them and nobody in the pool or vicinity was true, though as the holiday Rep pointed out,'We can't blame the Germans as the Hotel was 90% British residents!'.

I stayed in the hotel Fiesta Beach in August 2005.

Found the hotel to be very clean with freindly staff.the food was excellent, the bulgarian dishes were particulaly good for those that were prepared to try them.

The location of the hotel was ideal for a family a short walk from the centre, but with plenty
of bars & food outlets nearby.

Hotel bars were excellent & really cheap on par with other bars in the resort, the fiesta beach bar was excellent & open 24 hrs.

On a negative note there could be a lot of noise with people arriving & departing at all hours of the night, add to that, people returning from bars & not respecting others wishes to sleep, doors slamming etc,
It did lead to a few disturbed nights, would strongly recomend ear plugs for light sleepers!

Another problem was that the tiles around the kids pool were very slippery & you cannot expect kids not to run,I saw several children fall and hurt themselves,
this is something the travel agent will not tell you and needs to be addressed immediately.

There was also a distinct lack of sunbeds around the pool, all were taken by 7am .(usally with no one on them till after 11 am).

However, on the whole a great value for money hotel that I would visit again.

This hotel is defintley not a 4* hotel. Compared to other 4*hotels it would only be a 3*.

When we first arrived we were allocated a room on the 7th floor. The room was basic, two single beds and a fold out bed, 1 small wardrobe, w.c, shower, t.v. and cabinet and a small fridge which the hotel filled up. (be careful when you are checking out, as they tried to charge us for drinks from the fridge that we hadn't had!)

In the first week, the problem with the water started. After 4pm there was no water from the 2nd floor upwards until around 10pm, and the same on the morning from around 8am until mid morning. When we complained we were first told that there was nothing they could do, as it was a problem in the resort. After about 4 days of no water to shower, shave, brush teeth or even go to the toilet, we were told a room was available to shower in, but what about a toilet? We were eventually moved to the 2nd floor with a view of a building site (Majestic next door).

The pool was cold, no sunbeds unless you got up about 5am and the tiles very slippery.

The food the first week was ok, but went down hill the second week, however the staff were very nice and polite.

Towels were changed regularly.

Bourgas airport deserves a mention, passport control is significantly more nerve wracking than the Mediterranean destinations we are used to. Your passport had better be pristine, we saw one couple refused entry because their's had been through a washing machine, fair enough you might say, just be aware that this airport takes the scrutinising of passports very, very seriously and if they choose to open only two booths to process people, then two booths it will be. The queue was magnificent in it's size and sweatiness.

Transfer was spot on, check-in equally so, staff transferred our luggage to our 9th floor room very quickly which gave rise to the first tipping opportunity, I like to tip but not while I am being watched by the recipient, maybe it is an English thing, or just me.

Room size was generous, 10 year old son was on a chair bed thingy, ok for him might be a bit of a drag for an adult. Do not be putting things in the minibar, you will be charged rental, a modest 4 lev a day, do not be putting things in the digital safe unless you are happy to pay the 7 lev a day, payable in advance. Beds are pretty comfortable, I like a couple of pillows but one each is the standard issue. Bathroom is well spaced, the shower can be a bit dribbly at peak times but was adequate even then. Can get a little humid with the door shut as there are no windows, so get showered and get out. Balcony view was good, but I thought it was pretty damn narrow, perfectly ok to sit on but you are not going to crash out on it and catch some rays. I reckon the bedding was changed at least three times, and the hotel must have an inexhaustible supply of towels because they change them daily. You also need to remember that the aircon will go off when you leave the room.

Food was a major disappointment for us, I think they are trying to be jack of all trades, this means you end up with an English breakfast made with local produce which does not make for a very happy marriage, they got a bit panicky one morning and grilled the fried eggs, looked very odd. There is a decent spread of croissants / breads though and the expected cheese and salami for our mid European cousins. I think they should direct people requiring English breakfast to the nearest airport.

Evening meal got us down, you can do more with a potato than fry or boil it, vegetables are not an afterthought. The whole turkeys abandoned on the hotplate was an amusing diversion, how nobody lost a limb in the scrum I will never know. Impressing array of coloured cakes every evening though, if you want ice cream for afters send your child, or someone else who doesn't mind getting sticky. We would have liked them to do their own thing really, or if they are going to specifically target other nationalities cuisine, then get it right.

The hotel pool is pretty good, sun lounger reservation is the name of the game though.

Hotel staff were generally pretty good, got a bit lethargic in the evenings, but who knows what shifts they are working? Got a bit irritating when all change, regardless of the amount, was considered a tip.
Got round this by paying at the bar and then invariably giving the change back anyway. Generally they are pretty good and their English is significantly better than my Bulgarian.

Entertainment, the much mentioned trio are still there! Some reps turned up one night and shouted at the children in between Agadoo songs, didn't bother us too much but parents will generally have to entertain their own kids, or get someone else's kids to do the job.

We wouldn't come back to this hotel, but to be fair we are probably happier self catering in an apartment somewhere less developed anyway.

It was our first time in Bulgaria and what a great time we had. The hotel was spotless, staff very friendly and food was plentyful with good selection.

We were on the fifth floor, our room was very spacious with great views of the sea.Our rooms were cleaned daily with clean sheets and towels. The maid even picked up our clothes and hung them up.

The hotel is in a quiet part of sunny beach but not too far to walk to the night life. There are many places to eat, the steak house, Chinese and Italian restaurant were all excellent and very cheap.

We were allocated to this hotel following a disastrous five days in Elenite.

When we arrived we were very pleased with the hotel and our room which was a suite overlooking the beach was very spacious and was very nicely decorated ( not much space for 5 peoples clothes - but to be fair what hotels are these days ). The hotel was very clean and I honestly did not ever see any rubbish or mess anywhere.

The food however leaves alot to be desired, it is definatly not the best food Ive ever had but every person you meet from other hotels say the same, it is really cheap to eat out and there are loads of nice restaurants to eat out. As a family of 2 adults, 2 kids aged 5 and 3 plus a baby we could eat 3 course meals with drinks for

This is the second time we stayed in this hotel, we liked the location as we enjoy walking and you don't get the as many crowds walking past the hotel at night.

The food was good if you like chicken and veal.

The staff were really friendly and most of them enjoyed a joke with you.

The hotel cleaning staff never stopped.

The only concern I had was with the pool it was a dirty and we only saw it being cleaned twice! Plus it was difficult to get a sunbed as people would put towels on them and then you would never see them again.

The hotel lacked entertainment, but on our second week Airtours put on a disco (2 nights) for the kids and we (being the adults) enjoyed it just as much as the kids hopefully this will be increased in the future. -

Overall I would go back again and again (but maybe try another hotel only because we have stayed in the Fiesta twice)

We were a group of three lads aged 28+. This is what we found.

Hotel was very clean, the staff were very friendly. 80% are female. We could always have a laugh with the bar staff, and have the odd joke.

The bulgarians seemed very chilled out as we openly walked around the hotel with our drinks and nobody seemed to mind.

Situated in a very nice part of the resort. Ideal if you want to chill out as the other hotels in the centre are all hustle and bustle.

Food was very basic, but plenty of it, and the entertainment was funny in the sense that these two singers would play on and on even if nobody was watching.

The only real complaint I have is that the Bulgarians have a communist way of thinking. 10 people to do one persons job. For example, they always over staff....they will have 5 barstaff at 5am in the morning when no-one is there.

If you have a pint half empty and decide to go to the toilet, more than likely when you come back it will be gone, as they automatically assume you have finished???

This happended on a number of occasions. Some of them can be quite the 'jobsworth'. In total...loved it and would go back one day.
