One of the nicest places I have ever stayed in. I am desparate to return! Beautiful spacious, modern rooms. Panoramic views of the sea, close to the beach, close to restaurants (traditional Greek Tavernas included). I cannot fault these apartments.

We have just returned from a fortnight's holiday in Lindia Thalassa and I have already booked again for next year!

We were in 2 bedroom apartment in Block E which is located beside the Pool Bar and we did find it slightly noisy if trying to get to sleep before it closed at 2am, but a pair of earplugs can work wonders!!

excellent maid service every day apart from Sunday's.

As mentioned by others, only downside is price of air-con which is 10euros per room per night (280euro for 2 bed room for fortnight) needless to say we didn't have this apart from on our last night. Even though we were on ground floor, we still felt secure enough to sleep with patio doors open for some fresh air (just pulled chair across doorway so if moved it would alert us.

Not much in the way of entertainment, but kids were happy to go off and meet their pals in games room and we were happy to sit on terrace with beer/wine, reading or playing cards.

Best places we found to eat were Enigma, Artemus Garden Restaurant & Terpsis. Did go to Philosophia one night but thought it was overpriced (esp kids meal)compared to restaurants in town, but views at sunset were spectacular, worth a visit if just for that.

As soon as arriving at the hotel you can't help but be impressed by the high standard of cleanliness. The maid service was 6 days a week and the cleaning staff were always very friendly.

The location of the hotel was probably the best location of any other hotels in Pefkos, on the beautiful beach where there were always deck chairs available even in the busier time of June/July when we made our visit.

There was a superb taverna just a short 2 minute walk away called the Philosophers and you must go to this restaurant - food wonderful, view of the beach below fantastic and the owners were so friendly. A proper Greek taverna!

The bar staff, Fontas and Lolos, were the best thing about the hotel as they were always up for a laugh and were very friendly and helpful.

The entertainment was the only let down of the holiday.

We will be definitely be visiting this hotel next year as it was the most enjoyable holiday we - as a family - have experienced and we think that it will be hard to beat if we went somewhere else.

I was really looking forward to this holiday having read all the brilliant reviews from last year.

I have to say I was really disappointed. I think your opinion of this hotel completely depends on which block your room is located in.

We were in Block D, right next to the pool and bar area. For me, I enjoy sitting on my balcony on holiday with a drink before I go out in the evening but didn't feel that I wanted to do this as the music played in the bar is so loud and so english. If it had been greek music I wouldn't have minded so much.

We asked to move rooms but the receptionist was probably the least pleasant greek person I have ever met. I asked really politely and didn't make a fuss at all but she treated me with contempt.

Again, your opinion of the location of the hotel depends completely on what you want from your holiday. It is right on the beach which is brilliant but it is quite a walk into the resort in the evening. Especially with a tired 5 year old.

The one thing that made our holiday not a complete waste of money was the brilliant taverna just a couple of minutes from the hotel. It is called Philosophers and the people who work there are just lovely. It was a beautiful setting, watching the sun go down in the evening and the waiters were so kind to our son. One of them would take him into the kitchen at the end of his meal so he could choose his own ice cream. How sweet. It's little things like that, that make a holiday.

Entertainment in the hotel was fairly awful but having said that, I would have rather had no entertainment at all. Perhaps I could have then enjoyed sitting on my balcony!

I can see why some people would love this hotel, but it just wasn't really my cup of tea at all.

Stayed at the Lindia Thalllassa in October when it was a bit cooler - it rained an awful lot for two days but the rest of the time it was nice. The sea was very warm, but the pool was cold, probably because there was hardly anyone in it.

The hotel was pleasant and clean and our rooms were spotless. Very basic, but all you really need on holiday including tea and coffee facilities and satellite TV in your room at no extra cost.

No food as such on site apart from a snack bar serving chips and hot dogs. There is a nice restaurant nearby called Philosophers. Expensive by Greek standards though.

The hotel was supposed to be full, but it was very quiet and had no 'soul'. We tried to patronize the bar at night time but the bar staff were S L O W to serve you, and there was no real life around the bar. Prices were slightly more expensive than in the main Pefkos town, and in that atmosphere it wasn't a price we, or many others, were prepared to pay. We felt sorry for the entertainment guy because he'd turn up and the place would be empty some nights. Entertainment was Karaoke and the usual stuff.

Daytime's were more of the same, but in the daytime the quiet atmosphere is NICE. There were a couple of activities for some of the more active people, but we preferred to get our suntan the more relaxing way - lying on our backs and waiting till tea-time!

Pefkos seems to be quite pleasant, not too over-developed but you can see the signs of mass-package tourism are creeping in. We didn't care, we used the hotel for a quick sunbathing break and for that it was ideal.

Oh, the hotel is one of the few in Pefkos that can actually claim to be on the beach, but don't get too excited because the beach is about three metres wide and fifty metres long. It was nice in October, but I wouldn't fancy battling for a space in June.

Overall, we enjoyed our holiday. I'm sure when the season is busier it is a great place to go and it certainly has everything in place for families (there is a kids club for children ages 4 and upwards and baby facilities including a children

We arrived on a night flight. Our first impressions of the apartments were a bit bleak, but after catching up on some sleep things looked better! Apartments were very clean with sheets and towels changed daily (except sunday)
Reception staff were very efficent and could not have been more helpful. We did not bother getting the aircon as it was overly expensive so we decided to do without it. Location was good, a short walk to the beach and about a 10 min walk into Pefkos town, although I would say that the location was not ideal for anyone with mobility problems. There are very steep steps from the apartments down to the beach.
The entertainment left a whole lot to be desired and unless you're a Karaoke fan or like watching an oversized tv that's very loud and 9 times out of 10 has football on it then I would say give it a wide berth!
The pool is lovely with sunbeds always available.
These apartments would benefit from providing a food facility in the evening as not everyone wants to or is able to walk into town every night, snacks are available at the pool bar until 4pm. The supermarket was reasonably well stocked with the basics but would again benefit from having a small amount of frozen foods for us self caterers!!
We asked to keep our room until 6pm on the day we left as we were again on a night flight. We were charged an extortionate 35 Euros to keep the room for an extra 6 hours. Overall our experience of these apartments was good but due to the lack of entertainment and meal facilites we probably would not return.

Loved it our little piece of heaven, the best holiday so far, we've booked to go back next year already, no complaints what so ever.

The Accommodation was fab lovely and clean and everyone so friendly.

My kids usually don't like kids clubs (especially the older ones) But my kids looked forward to it Helen and Johnny were fantastic............

The Village so many lovely places to eat never a bad meal sometimes a wait for food but thats the Greeks for you.

Idea for the apartments get rid of TV's in rooms not needed (too much TV at home) give everyone the air-conditioning free, a little expensive but needed......

Great place cant wait to go back counting the weeks........................

We had read a few reviews on Lindia Thalassa before we booked and were not disappointed!

Very clean apartments (we had 2 bedroom, first floor over looking the pool, with everthing you would need for self catering and whole complex was immaculately kept.

Only main complaint was the cost of the air-con. We paid for two units for the 2 bedrooms, a must but expensive.

Location excellent, a short stroll to the beach from access from the apartments and town only 10 minute walk.

Entertainment was only disappointment, with quite a lack of atmosphere around the bar of an evening with just a handful of folk attempting kareoke. Everyone seemed to go off into town to eat of an evening and deserted the complex. Perhaps if they opened a good restaurant on site with entertainment included, it would have kept people around and given the the place the atmosphere it lacked at night time.

However, would highly recommend and would not hesitate to return

When we arrived at the hotel, it was at night, so my first impression was that all the blocks looked a bit bleak. As soon as we got into the apartment though, it was much more cheerful.

The maid came nearly every day, it was very clean.

The location was pretty, and the staff were nice.

We will go back again

Just returned from two weeks. Fourth visit to Rhodes first visit to this accomadation. Excellent rooms, clean and spacious. only problem was cost of air conditioning 80 euros per room (2 room apartment). Arrived late at night a/c could not be switched on until next day, though charged for that night. Switched off at 7.30 morning off departure, paying for full day. Entertainment left a lot to be desired, usual Karaoke (old hat stuff). Staff very good, felt safe and secure especially with kids. Will return again to Pefkos as it is the most stunning of all the resorts and will return to this accomadation.
