We stayed in the Nikita 2, the room was very basic.
We found that the owners of the Nikita were very ignorant and not helpful.
When booking the holiday we were not told that the apartments would not have a reception as if we had any problems we had to ask at the local supermarket.
The first day we arrived there was no running water which we were not happy about.
To get to the apartments you have to drag your suitcases up a rocky steep hill.
The rep was only there two days out of a week so we could only see her at specific times which I think is really bad.
Apart from this we had a great holiday and would go to Pefkos again, however we would not book with Libra and would not go back to the Nikita Apartments.

My husband and I booked the Nikita apartments in October 2004 for our honeymoon in June 2005.
The apts looked lovely in the brochure and we made it clear that we wanted the new looking block in the picture as it was for our honeymoon!
When we arrived, we were eventually put into this dingy, dark, smelly little room (they were using our room as a late checkout room so WE had to wait!) We immediately complained to the rep, who happened to only make an appearance twice during our first week- not acceptable! I was so angry at having spent such an amount of money for our honeymoon and being put into such a horrible room in a building that I did'nt even know existed. According to Libra, they are called two different names- Nikita and Nikitas- I've still to see this in their brochure.
Eventually after 8 days of living in the horrible room we were moved into one of the newer rooms, what a difference. It was bright, airy and spacious- shame it had taken them so long to get the problem sorted out.
The facilities within the surrounding area were adequate, with the little supermarket being just at the bottom of the little hill. I felt that the new building was lovely, but the original building was not acceptable for a holiday-despite the fact that you don't go abroad to the sun to sit indoors.
Would I use Libra again- NO! Would I go back to the Nikita or Nikitas apartments again- NO! Would I recommend them to anyone- Probably not!

We had a wonderful holiday due to the fantastic location.
It was so peaceful but the bars etc were seconds away.The apartments bright airy and large only downfall was the cleaning lady........ she did not clean! We had a bucket mop and broom stored outside our door and she never used them.Our towels was not changed all week and we never got clean bedding.We brushed and mopped the floor ourselves.
All the rooms with people in for 1 week got the same treatment.It did not spoil our holiday and the rooms were spotless when we arrived. Wonderful views over Pefkos.
The facilities are basic but we never once turned the hob on......I did not intend cooking!!!!!!!
One thing to bear in mind is that they have no air con fitted and we could not sleep in May cos it was so hot, but you can hire a fan from the supermarket.

Stayed in the Nikita Studios and thought they were great. They are big,airy and extremely clean. We found the staff excellent from the lovely lady who was the cleaner and who always had time to speak to you to the family who owned the studios. They are located just off the main road up a small hill and are close to everything - the beach, restaurants and bars but always found it very quiet at night so always got a good sleep. Would have no problems staying here again

We booked a late deal for 1 week in Sept 2002. We had seen a picture of Nikita apartments which looked wonderful. However when we arrived we were put in the older block just nextdoor which was never shown or mentioned in the brochure.
We were told that people who booked earlier in the year automatically got the better rooms.
Our room was farily clean but very old inside and the storage space under the bed when opened was mouldy and smelled really bad. It took the rep 5 days to get it cleaned.
We would stop at Nikita again as long as we were guaranteed a room in the newer block as they looked really nice inside.
Just beware that if you book late you will probably get an old room.
