we have had a fantastic holiday at planos bay.the rooms are a good size and spotlessly clean.the shower took a bit of getting used to!our 12 year old and our 9 year old loved the wavelength club,noosh the rep was great fun.we never had a problem getting sunbeds and we joined in the pool quiz and water volleyball. our son went to play football one morning but it was far too hot.the weather was in the high 30s for most of the fortnight.the evening entertainment wasnt great but most people went out in the evening. we ate in some fabulous retaurants including giorgios, zeus taverna and manos grill-our particular favouite.the beach is less than 10 mins walk away and is kept very clean.we had breakfast sometimes in the kaliva pub and the evening entertainment there was very good. our favourite bar was Friends-hi to yiannis and deborah!the waterpark is worth a visit,the kids loved it.
all in all an excellent holiday and we will certainly return

We stayed at Planos Bay and it was fantastic, the hotel building was spotless, the maids worked all day to ensure this, the best I've seen.
Our rooms were cleaned to a very high standard everyday, this included changing beds and clean towels. Sundays are a well deserved day of rest but they still come in to empty bins.
We never used the hotel resturant so can't comment on that but the are some fantastic places to eat locally, the old greek village next door is excellent with fantastic service, as is the kaliva pub for a more informal meal.
The kids club, well what can I say........the most dedicated, child friendly team i've ever seen, my children were in all three groups and each had a brilliant time. I can't praise them enough.
We would definatly return here and would certainly recomend this hotel/apartments.

On arrival, the staff were very friendly and helpful and we were booked in within 15minutes.
Room was basic, but very clean and big enough for my family.
Air con is a must! only 5 euros per day, well worth it.
Kids loved the pool, plenty big enough and very clean.
The supermarket attached to the hotel is very handy and reasonably priced.
Our children enjoyed the entertainment provided by the reps.
The hotel is ideally situated because the town centre is only a few hundred metres up the road.

This was our 2nd visit to Planos bay and it was just as wonderful as the first! Exeptionally clean and friendly staff. There was a pool bar but I wasn't particularly impressed so we tended not to eat there. The kids clubs were great as were the daytime entertainments staff.

We loved it at the planos bay hotel! The rooms were kept spotless by the fantastic friendly cleaning staff.
The hotel is at the quieter end of the resort so you don't need to deal with noise in the middle of the night.
The staff were very friendly and made everyone feel at home! I have to take my hat off to amy, michael and dmitri i don't know where you get the energy.
Michael is fantastic as an entertainer and put all of his effort into getting everyone involved every night.
A lot of the entertainment wouldn't work if guests are not willing to participate but it's worth it if you do! We would definitely return here and I would recommend this hotel for families,couples and singles.

I wouldn't rave about this place like others have. It was ok - the staff were certainly kind, helpful, friendly and polite and the location was reasonable.
What annoyed me was how people in their 20s who run these joints believe that in order to chill out and unwind, your ear holes have to be blasted with rubbish pop music all day. Worse still, we had a huge hotel speaker on the outside of our apartment which meant we couldn't escape it! (Avoid rooms 120 - 125). That was really our cue to go down the beach and as a result, this was the real highlight of our holiday. Lovely clear, warm and shallow water in a small cove that the kids just loved.
The food in Zante is everything British food isn't - well-cooked, tasty, healthy, wholesome and locally-sourced. The Greeks spoilt us. And it was all so reasonable (lobster for two was 40 Euros).
The Kids club deserves a mention as the reps there did a really good job. However, don't bank on being entertained in the evening - many shows were cancelled due to lack of interest.

This is the second time we have been to these apartments and we really can not fault them. They are ideally situated in the quieter end of the resort but still near enough to all the beaches,resturants and bars, of which there are plenty.
The staff are all friendly and helpful. The maids are really good and keep the whole place very clean.A special mention to the Kids Club reps who are brilliant with the kids.
Music is played during the afternoon but most people seemed to enjoy it, we just took no notice if it wasn't to our taste. The poolside quizes are fun.
We didn't really join in the evening entertainment but they do have some good outside entertainers in. Zante Swing are really good.
There is a pub just down the road from the apartments called the Kaliva and the owners and staff are very welcoming and friendly. It is ideal if you have kids as it has a closed-in outdoor playground that our kids loved. The meals are very good too.

Hotel was nice, staff were very friendly. We made the mistake of booking the breakfast which consisted of a fried breakfast every morning (with no other choice), would recommend you shop around for brekky, there were several places with choice reasonably cheap around about.
Kids club is excellent, our kids were in the wavelength group, who took the kids off site on trips out. My husband and I got a couple of evenings to ourselves.
