hello...we stopped here 06/08/2003 until 20/08/2003 and like the brochure says...these are very basic but clean rooms...this is supposed 2 be a 3 star complex but if compared to a spanish hotel this would rate only 1 perhaps scrape in 2 stars...we stopped in a 2 bed apt which we thought was a good large sized apartment...there is no air conditioning in the rooms but a ceiling fan in each bedroom,none in lounge/kitchen area...(but there is in the single apartments)...the furniture is very basic (like early MFI) but its somewhere 2 put your clothes away and the wardrobes did have enough coat hangers...the maids change the linen and towels once a week...this hotel is in a very good place 2 access both bugibba and qawra..the only really downside is that you have to pay for the sunbeds around the pool (50cents per bed per day= abouts 85p)

Worst hotel I have ever stayed in anywhere.
Temperature outside was approx 90degrees inside more like 100.There is no air conditioning just a rickity ceiling fan which is worse than useless.
Room is cleaned twice weekly,bed linen twice weekly and towels twice weekly which is totaly inadequate considering you had to have 2 to 3 showers a day.
Pool area on roof quite dingy,loungers kept chained up but you could hire one for fifty cents a day.
After a week i couldnt wait to get home. We have visited Malta on 6 occasions and enjoyed every one except for the Huli apts.
Malta is a beautiful country and the people are very friendly its a shame that first time visitors might end up in a place like the Huli apts and never return because of their experiance.

Very good basic accommodation. Reception staff very helpful and friendly. For self-caterers,shops close by.Cleaning once per week.

Stopped at the Movina Aug 2002. There was nothing to complain about. Lovely people and cheap booze.
