If you are visiting during the winter months then ask reception for extra warm blankets for the cold nights and also ask for the WiFi code ....
Plenty of food places to try although buffet places charge high costs on soft drinks with your meal ..

Puerto del Carmen is a clean well maintained town with evidence of lots of money being spent on infrastructure. Clean well maintained beaches and interesting harbour area.
If you're driving get a good street map as there is a sometimes confusing system of one way streets.

Good resort but too many hills,I am disabled so not good for my old bones unfortunately!

Stayed in the old town, at Bellevue Aquarius. The harbour/marina was dirty, a variety of Irish bars (all rowdy and overcrowded) most bars/restaurants were over priced for the quality of food on offer.
We found one good eatery and that was an Indian called Fazes, which was the only place that had heard of AIR CONDITIONING, all in all, Lanzagrotty is not a place to frequent if you want a good holiday,
We went once on a trip to a national park , except for being dusty, uninteresting and a wasted day it was ok compared to the safari park, that is a story best untold and laid to rest as I don’t want to put anybody off going there to enjoy their day out.

the resort is clean and friendly with many shops and eating places the harbour is also pleasant to walk and eat in the many eating places .

PDC has improved a lot since our last visit as the promonade has been widened and is lovely to walk along after enjoying a good meal in one of the many restaurants. Wide range of food available and a few more cocktail bars now.

resort was clean beaches looked very clean there was plenty of entertainment to suit all needs only down side was you could not walk pasted many eating places without getting pestered to go in were we did eat food was very good and well priced

the resort as usual did not let its self down the evenings were busy everyone out for a pleasant evening with all the improvement made in recent years one felt safe and free to enjoy ones self from a visit to a bar to just browsing shop windows to passing the many places to eat choices we many and inviting. in the day time the beach was a hives of persons enjoying themselves weather was perfect just a perfect place to be

resort is clean and tidy. entertainment very good with plenty of bars, restaurants and live music.
