the apartments have very recently had a major refurb winter 2009.there is still work to be done as the reception area is unfurnished and the bar is not open yet and it looks closed from the outside but dont be put off.
we had a two bedroom apartment that had a new en suite bathroom each 1 with corner shower cubicle the other with over bath shower there was always plenty of hot water.the lounge was roomy with modern bed setee table & chairs ect.the kitchen was spotless white units with 2 ring hob & microwave, kettle, toaster and a good selection of pots & pans.the furnished balcony was huge with drying rack & cuboard with brush mop ect.
the pool area was very clean with sun beds & brolly free & no early reserving with towels at the crack of dawn.
the 24 hour reception staff were very friendly and polite and always said good morning/evening.there were no problem with lifts & handy vending machines in the lobby.
the apts are ideally situated in a quiet area just near the coloured dancing fountains very pretty on a night.5 mins walk to nearest bars ect cheap & cheerfull being very good value & a great breakfast & snacks.
I highly recommend theese apartments I have only been back a week and have already booked them again.

Honestly, just don't go, you will be sorry. Take no notice of what the agents say, because they are still recomended by them, be warned, dont use this place.

Me and my mum arrived at this hotel with my sister and her friend at about 9.30pm there was no one in reception but the police officers in the bar were happy to help.

We eventually got to our room on the 9th floor. There are three lifts all of which are temperamental so when you've had a few beers its a struggle to get to your room especially when you've been locked out at 5am when its ment to be a 24hour reception.

We ate in the bar once when we were hung over, the staff didnt speak any english but then again the police officers in the bar interpreted for us, I've got to say the food was rather expensive for a cheese slice on toast about 3 euros 80.

We were there for four nights and never saw another soul in the hotel thats until we were on our way home one night. The lifts wouldnt work there was no one on reception as usual and we had to walk 9 flights of stairs in pitch black needless to say we were very frightened when we came across someone on the 8th flight of stairs after three days of seeing no one in the hotel, but police officers getting a beer in the bar. Oh did I mention its adjoining the police station the sirens don't make a good soundtrack when you've got a hangover.

Anyway we had a great time in Benidorm shame about the hotel but then again it was a cheapy off the net . p.s if you go in winter take your thermals cause the heaters in the hotel dont work.
