We have recently come back from a 1 week all inclusive stay in this hotel. My first impressions of the hotel was "WOW". It is very clean and the staff run around all day keeping it this way.

I found that all the staff in the hotel were very friendly especially the restaurant staff who were excellent with kids. If you had to wait more than a few minutes for a table the staff brought you a glass of wine.
The food is plentiful with lots of variety but I found the same choices everyday and not much I must say was very nice, apart from the chips and cooked meat.
The local beer they serve is great and if you want bottled water for those hot days thats also free & unlimited.

When we first arrived in our room we noticed the handle was missing from our patio door so we reported it straight away, it was fixed later the same day.

It is a pleasant 10 minute walk to the beach with lots of shops to browse in on the way.
Overall our holiday was excellent. I would definately go back to this hotel but would go out every night (like we did) as the entertainment was totally garbage.
The only downfall is that people were queueing for over an hour in a morning to wait for the pool area to open so they could reserve sunbeds. How SAD is that, especially when we found most people didn't even go to the pool until lunchtime. The Spanish staff were watching and laughing at the people queueing and who can blame them.

we are just back from Benidorm last month and i can only say that my family thought it was fantastic we all enjoyed the holiday very much and would recomend it to anyone who is thinking of going there.
The food was great the entertainment was great the staff were very nice. My two daughters went to the kids club and the girls that ran it , loopy laura, silly chelle, rocking rachael , were brilliant and my kids really missed them when we left, we can wait till we go back next year as we met a very nice family there and are meeting them next year with there family.
We went with Thomas Cook JMC and would go back with them they where all very helpful people and i would like to thank them.

Rooms - the rooms were spacious for a family of four and were cleaned to a high standard every day. There was a sewage smell from the water in our room, although the 2 families that were with us did not have this problem. Anyway, it was only a minor snag and did not affect us in any way.
Staff - the staff were brilliant especially with children. I heard other people complaining about the staff, but then these people complain about anything anyway.
Pool - very safe with 2 lifeguards on duty all the time (and quite strict). The sunbeds were a problem and a lot of people queued to reserve the beds from early each morning (doors opened around 8.00am). The hotel has a policy which doesn't allow sunbeds to be reserved before 9.00am. This was not consistently applied and caused a problem with guests. During our second week when the pool area was very busy the security guard went round at 9.00am and removed towels from beds which guests had reserved and then left to get breakfat etc. This caused major rows with guests.
The pool snack bar serves food and drinks up to 6.00pm.

Bars - drinks were not too bad for an all inclusive although the spirits were not as good as the real thing. Queuing was not too bad except for the downstairs bar at night serving the outside entertainment which got quite busy. The staff were very friendly despite the long hours and deserve some credit.

Food/restaurant. - generally very good with a wide variety on offer for both lunch & dinner. There was usually something to please everyone and our jeans were definately tighter on the way home. Breakfast was served up to 10.30am but if you missed this, the snacks available from 10.30-12.30 were really a continuation of breakfast, so you can get a lie in if you so wish. The staff were again very friendly and genuinely seemed to enjoy a bit of crack, especially with the kids.

Guests - I feel that the guests were the low point of this hotel. I honestly don't know why the English go abroad when they seem to find a problem with everything, while at the same time ignoring every rule in the Hotel eg. letting their children run amok.
For you I have this message: IF YOU DON'T LIKE SPAIN, STAY AT HOME.

Entertainment - not great although the reps worked very hard to entertain both day and night and deservr credit (especially Skippy). Room for improvement.

Overall this is a fantastic hotel, maintained to a very high standard with an abundance of what you would expect from an All Inclusive and I would highly recommend this hotel to anyone.

We went at the end of july,at the start of the school hoidays.First impressions of the hotel are quite nice.A big lobby clean and airy. But look a little closer and the cracks are starting to appear, cracked plaster worn out furnishings with cigarette burns, chipped stairways.

The rooms are large, ours was 2 single beds 2 sofa beds for the kids. Our bathroom door did not shut properly and the lock did not work. Not that good for a 4 star hotel.

The pool area is lovely a nice big free form pool with palm trees all around. There is around 350 sunbeds for the entire hotel, not a lot considering 396 rooms. If you go in a busy period be prepared for the daily sunbed dash.As the pool area is quite small the sunbeds are put away in the evening to make way for the few poor quality tables and chairs. Then around 8.00am the brown shirted security man blows his whistle(I kid you not)to start the dash.If you can, escape to the roof terrace to avoid this mayhem.

The food at this hotel was excellent, something for everyone from 8.30 till midnight. Most of the staff are friendly,a few grumpy ones, but you get that anywhere.

The entertainment was rather poor, not enough during the day, considering there was ten of them, could have done better.

Who ever built this hotel in my opinion got it wrong, the hotel is far to large for the grounds when fully occupied,as you will see if you go there.I would say it is a good 3 star not a 4 star.

We did enjoy our time here and would return to benidorm next year,so much to do.

Well, it's been a while since our return from The Flamingo Oasis, but I still think it's worth highlighting it's many pluses.

We thoroughly enjoyed our stay here and would go back given the chance.

The all inclusive is great value. Cleanliness like we have never witnessed before. Food excellent and varied. Fantastic rooms, plenty of space and again, kept spotlessly clean.

Staff were all brilliant and all worked so hard.

The entertainment, whilst you could not class as 'professional' was OK and what you would expect. They could have brought more outside acts in, but the hotel staff worked like Trojans.

We had many reservations before we travelled due to previous postings on this web-site (particularly in May of this year!) So much that I wrote to JMC to ask for reassurances that they had no ongoing problems with this hotel. I never did get a response. However, I can recommend this hotel to anyone.

There is plenty to do. Fantastic pool. Many bars to choose from which varies your two weeks. The grounds are beautiful.

I agree the building is showing some signs of wear and tear, but any repairs we highlighted, or when staff were notified of 'spillages', were dealt with promptly.

If you are thinking of going - don't hesitate.

I had a slight problem on arrival as I booked a fridge for my medication but didn't receive it until the next day after a lot of conversations with hotel staff & reps. They offered me the option to put my medication in the hotels fridge but I rejected that as I like to keep it with me as it is a very dangerous drug and didn't think it was a good idea as you don't know who had access to it. Never had this problem in the past.

This was my third visit to Flamingo Oasis and I was not disappointed at all. Most of the staff were very friendly but I think it is time they arranged for a separate place for the children to be served as the staff usually served the adults first even though the children had waited and took their turn in the queue.

The entertainment was vastly improved this year - last year was extremely poor.

In my 3 visits the indoor pool has never been in operation and this was disappointing as it is ideal to get away from the children at times. The roof top is not an option as some of the party dislike heights.

Sunbeds - well you had to get up very early to get a sunbed and a little bit of space, it was like the kiddy's programme 'wacky races'- terrible. I had a conversation with a family who went to the hotel next door to have a relaxing day around the pool and they acquired sunbeds with no problems at all.

Watch your drinks when you are out and about in Benidorm as one member of the party had their drink spiked and what a night we had with him.

I will go back to this hotel as it is very well run, tidy, and clean and most of the staff are very sociable, the young lads in the restaurant loved the children and a good rapport was built up with those who took the time to talk to them.

All in all well recommended.

This hotel was everything we expected it to be and was a brilliant family holiday.

FOOD -

The food had a different theme every night and with our two children being very fussy eaters there was something they liked everynight, and don

Arrived at hotel after a eight hour delay thanks to Thomson and you could see that everything was spotless inside.

ROOM: We had a nice large family room which was the biggest room I have had on any holiday, 2 sinks in the bathroom, shower, bath etc. Maid cleaned everyday and was always smiling and pleasant.

FOOD: Excellent, everyday one of the chefs would carve you slices of beef, pork etc and if that wasn't your thing the other choices were extensive enough for everyone. The waiters were also excellent with my children and they took a real shine to Raul and Ivan in particular.

LOCATION: It was quite a walk to the beach but it wasn't an unpleasent walk as there were lots of shops in which to browse on your way down. Mundomar & Aqualandia just up the road and good fun but get a taxi as it is quite a hill to walk up. Aqualandia itslf is a great day out for all the family from young to old.

STAFF: Staff were pleasant and helpful to every query I had. Bar staff also good considering they didn't stop all day long.

ENTERTAINMENT: Dire for adults but the kids love it, my 2 year olds were dancing on the stage with their older sister until they couldn't dance anymore. That said they also work tirelessly and are fantastic with the children.

All in all one of the best holidays I've had, my parents who came with us also said that this was the best hotel that they have stayed in Benidorm and they've been in a few. Book it and see for yourself I shouldn't think that you will be dissapointed

The hotel was great, i was a little worried when i read some reviews on this site.
We went all inclusive the hotel was spotless the food was top class with a choise of everything.
The staff never stoped working running around cleaning up after us and they were great with my kids.
The location was great to with a 10 min walk to the beach and round the corner from Mundonar and aqualandia.
Across the road from the hotel is a supermarket for good cheap duty free(only 3 euro for a bottle of vodka). This hotel is well worth its 4 star rating.A BIG YES
