Just returned from the hotel with 2 kids in tow 16 & 11. The hotel cannot be faulted for it's prime location, the friendliness of the staff and the hygiene standards.

However, the entertainment in the evening was very very poor, and what was available during the day wasn't much better. Bingo everynight followed by a kiddies disco....very badly organised and poor.

I got the feeling it was like a glorified butlins, judging by the type of people that were milling around.

The food although plentiful lacked variety. The 'gym' was a room with 4 pieces of antiquated machinery which unless you had a death wish you wouldn't use. Steam/massages were not part of the inclusive package, ice cream was not part of the AI package either and the only other 'snacky'food that was available during the day were soft biscuits. Next time,I'll go to Butlins!!!!

Just came back from the Flamingo Oasis last week (Easter half term)Although it has a rating of 4 star i would put it as a good 3 star.In general it was a good Hotel, but a few things dissapointed us.- You had to go to the main dining room for the snacks, where you had to stay and eat them,Children were turned away from the snack area unless accompanied by an adult, although there was always staff there to keep an eye on things. There were no tables and chairs outside, you had to sit on a sunbed to read etc. There was no outside Bar,you had to go inside up stairs to get drinks etc.Even in a quiet period like April there was a never ending queue at the Bar.Also the entertainment was woeful, but i guess it was people doing their best, having a go.We spoke to many people who have returned time & time again, which i can understand, but 4 star ! i think not.

We have recently returned from another excellent holiday at the Flamingo Oasis. We stayed there from Tues 27 April - Tues 04 May 2004. This was our third stay at the hotel. We have contributed two previous reviews on this hotel which will be further up the board, the first one will be more in-depth.

To begin with, we arrived at the hotel on a sunny afternoon. We walked through those revolving doors again and as always the hotel entrance was absolutely spotless. We quickly checked in and headed off up to our room. When we booked we requested a low floor facing the pool. We contacted the hotel and requested this as well as with JMC. We ended up on the 3rd floor over the pool. Perfect. The room as always was absolutely spotless and wasn

We entered the hotel and went to our room. It had a bath, a shower, 2 toilets and a sink.

Their was an adult pub and a bit where you could watch tv. Further along a bit there was a bigger pub where children were allowed to go. Downstairs there was a entertainment place (not very good) and outside there was 3 swimming pools (cold.) There is a bar beside the pool and along a bit from downstairs there was a large games room, an inside swimming pool and a sauna.

Near the entertainment area was a restraunt with 3 bars. They had meat, salad, deserts and a couple of machines for juice for kids.

There is a playground next to the pool and also a club next to the pool.

The hotel was brilliant as were the staff every one of them could speak very good English and were always obliging nothing to much trouble to them.

Room was spotless and the Chambermaid excellent nothing too much bother to her even when we asked for a change of pillow it being stained due to nose bleed.

This was the best hotel we have stayed in Benidorm so much so that we are going back again this coming May 2005.

Although the entertainment was a bit stereotyped it satisfied our needs as we went out in the early evening and returned later on to enjoy last couple of hours in the bar.

Very happy hotel all staff had smiles and jokes.

Have no hesitation in recommending this hotel to anyone and have done so already.

Watch this space for further comments after my next holiday to this hotel in May.

Spent a week here from 13th -20th January. What can I say!? Fantastic hotel. The rooms are very spacious with 2 large beds and 2 three seater sofas, bathrooms are also large with 2 wash hand basins, bath and great overbath shower withplenty of hot water!!

When I booked I asked for a low floor and a pool view and got both. The restaurant is large and spacious. They operate a system where you are met at the door and shown to a table, very well organised although on a few occasions some elderly people just walked in and set a table for themselves regardless whether someone had already been shown to that table, but then that is not down to the restaurant management, just the inability of some people to read the sign at the door!

I can only say that the food was exeptionally good and always hot with lots of choice. The staff were so friendly and helpful. There is a roooftop area for adults only which afforded fantastic views of Benidorm, a rooftop pool, bar and sunbathing area with loads of sunbeds. The outdoor pool was closed when we were there, but then it was January!

The hotel also boasts a heated indoor pool, gym, hairdresser, shop, large bar and piano bar{adults only}.

This was our first holiday in Benidorm and we loved it and when we go back we will definately be booking a room at the Flamingo Oasis!

Me and my wife visited Benidorm in January 2004 and stayed at this excellent hotel. We were warned about possible building work going on nearby (which was a new health centre building being built) but it was not a problem. When we arrived I had one hell of a cold which lasted the duration of our holiday, but that did not hinder us much. The weather made up for it as it was just perfect.

We booked a high floor and sea view and got both plus a pool view. I would recommend spending a few extra sheckles on a high floor as the views are obviously much better. There are also plenty of lifts. The room was spacious and clean and the staff were busy every day keeping the hotel clean, which was good to see. The foyer area is nice too.

The food was excellent and there was a carvery at least once a day. All inclusive in this hotel is superb, especially as the cost of he holiday is so low when compared to summer.Lots of good food and drink! We spent a few nights out at local restaurants for a change of scene some nights as this is something we enjoy doing.

The location is average being a good 20 minute walk to the beach but the 35 minute walk, especially to the old town most days kept us fit!! Hotel staff are pleasant enough. Yes,me and my wife would definately go back in January or for a winter's week.

Another excellent week spent at the Flamingo Oasis, 13th to 20th December 2003 - two adults and our 20 year old son shared a double room with single bed.

This is our fifth holiday at this hotel and it still remains our favourite, it is fantastic. Every aspect of the hotel is first class but regret to say they have introduced a new system in respect of entry into the restaurent and on a number of occasions long queues became apparent and some guests had to wait up to 20 minutes to be allowed into the restuarent. I have taken this up with the management and they stated it was introduced to stop unauthorised people using the restaurant facilities but have promised to look at the system again.

We went to this hotel just before Christmas and found it to be one of the best holidays we have ever been on.

Our party consisted of 6 adults aged 2x 18 year olds 2x 43 year olds 2x people in their fifties.

As a very clean person myself I found the cleanliness of this hotel to a very high standard.

There was a wide variety of foods on offer and was bound to be something for everybody. The staff would check your cards on entry to the restaurant to avoid unauthorised access and then they would seat you.

The hotel is in a perfect location with only a five minute walk to the square which has all the nightlife for younger holidaymakers like myself and my friend, but far enough not to disturb the more mature holidaymaker.

The hotel staff were very friendly and me and my friend went on nights out with the staff and our reps, they made our stay very pleasourable.

The entertainment wasn't so good but during our week stay we found there were a couple of nights where it was decent. To make the best of your holiday it is best to leave the hotel for nightly entertainment.

I liked benidorm so much me and a friend, both 18, have booked to go back for Christmas 2004 and would certainly recommend this resort and hotel to anybody no matter what age they are as everyone will enjoy it!!!

Hi,
I'm Hannnah French and I came with a party of 16.

Entertainment: I didn't like it that much but it was entertaining for the kids, at 8:00pm there was the mini disco for the kids they played all sorts of games to play, songs to sing and dances to learn. After that there was a show, they performed Cats and if I had to be truthful I hated it. It frighted my little sister. They mimed it all which I can understand. In Grease all they did was sing they said a FEW words but as a Grease fan I would expect at least half of the stuff to be said. In Beauty and The Beast it was excellent, they said words and sang songs. They had a magician which was very good. They had a hypnotist I thought it was great.

Staff:The English staff were grumpy and never happy.
