Rooms are basic/small and very very hot, but was clean enough when we arrived.food is ok, but noticed it was better weekdays than at weekends, when staff are differant.
Location is excellent with all bars only a short walk away. Staff are nice especially Gary and Josie, who cook the food the way you want it. Don't bother with the entertainment unless you like karaoke and bingo.
I have been here before five years ago, but little has changed, I would go again but not as my first choice, or in August. Don't expect clean sheets and towels every day, ours were only changed once in ten days.
Don't hire the fans, it's cheaper to buy one. Showers are dangerous, go cold to very hot.
Also pool is deep and theres no lifeguard so beware.

stayed there for 7 nights didnt have the room cleaned at all in the week we were there clean towels and sheets were left outside the room in a bag. pool was ok but very deep including the childrens pool.food was ok entertainment could of been better as it was only on mondays and fridays.bar staff were great weekdays and weekends. the location was ok and if ur room is at the front it is very noisey. we had this on a late deal and wouldnt of paid any more than i did. would stay there again for the same price not any more.

palm court apts are very basic and rear balconies have no view. close to all entertainments. rooms are basic so dont look for comfort. stayed there on my own, wouldnt have liked anymore in the room.

On arrival at the hotel our first thought was the room was a bit small for four adults, probably big enough for 2. The bed settee was shabby and full of cig burns . Other than that the room was clean and got clean towels and bed linen.
Josie and Gary do a lovely breakfast in the hotel bar.
This hotel is in prime location for all the nightlife and only 5 mins to the beach.
We would definitely stay in these apartments again it may not be the Ritz but we had a good holiday

Just arrived back, the rooms were much too small for a family of 4.
My youngest child aged 10 had to sleep on a mattress on the floor. Personally I think these rooms were originally made for 2, but expected 4 to squeeze in. We were there for a week, the beds were changed once and towels twice. The rooms were very basic and not the cleanest. We have always gone self catering but this is the 1st time we were told we couldn't take any drinks or food etc, from our apartment or shops around the pool area.
You were expected to buy it all from the pool bar, which was a little more expensive than the local shops. This can add up if you take a couple of kids with you. Although the couple who owned the pool bar were friendly, they watched you like hawks, just to make sure you didn't take anything in. (not even water)!!

Do not go to this hotel the reps are a waste of time the only good thing about this place is the pool and area its in.
Sometimes you cannot get to sleep because of all the noise on the streets. Rooms are dirty. My 2 children had to sleep on the sofa because there were only 2 beds (single).

Expecting a nice week away my husband and I arrived at the Palm Court quite late the hotel is advertised as 3t its definatley not, even the rep agreed with us the rooms are small.
We had a large ant party in our bathroom this was cleared but only after 3 days, the showers are dangerous going from freezing cold to boiling hot in a matter of seconds this was reported to the reception we were informed that they are all the same.
Entertainment was poor unless you like karaoke thats all there was.
The balcony in our room was like a greenhouse only smaller. The rooms are shabby there were alot of people complaining to the rep about the standard of the hotel that says it all never again.

We were very dissapointed with this hotel the worst hotel we have stayed in, it was very shabby and basic it was clean but that is the only thing good I can say about it.
The bedding was old and faded when you go on holiday you want comfort there was not comfort at all and the room was so depressing we only came back to the room to sleep we moved hotel half way though our holiday.
It was such a relief to get out of that apartment would reccommend Palm Court as a youth hostel.

Beware!
The Palm Court is awful, Thompsons should be reported. Go camping instead the facilities are better! The staff are excellent, the accomodation is diabolicle. Stay Away, You have been warned!
