When we arrived we had to walk to the hotel cause the lanes were too narrow for a bus to get down even though it came down to pick us up, so we had to carry our baggage up a slight hill.

The first inpression of the apartments was "is that it", and it was that bad!! the only thing nice in the hotal was the room, it was nice and spacious and a nice veiw from the balconey.

we only had our towels changed once in the week and we never had our bed changed or made so we had to make sure it was cleaned for us.

the staff via one all had faces on them and not one of them had a smile, not very welcoming. we accidently broke a small glass and reported and we were looked at like we had just killed someone.

no entertainment so don't expect it!!!!!!

i must say though that the location is good only a 5-10min walk to the beech and bars and cafe so thats the only thing i can't fault

The Picasso was a little shabby on the outside but rooms where spacious and clean on arrival, however the rooms were only cleaned once in the two weeks we were there.

The location was exellent it was close to beach and all other amenities.

Staff in the bar area were very helpful and polite at all times.

we have been going to Benidorm for 2 years now and been to Meny apartment but my fave had to be Picasso the staff were all nice and had fun with them.

Food was good the rooms were nice and the maids were like vultures. So we enjoyed the holidays and would def come back well we will see you in June 2006 and can not wait.

Wishing Raz and Michaela all the best for the big day.

The Picasso was fine looked a bit grubby from the outside however the room was fine.

The staff were fine and helpful, the lift was very small but that was not a problem.

Well situated to the beach and night life and there was enough for all tastes. Would go back.

After reading other reports on the Piccaso apartments we were all a little worried about what we had let ourselves in for, but after arriving the was no need to worry at all.

The apartments do look basic but that is to be expected for a lads holiday. They were clean and well maintained, the maids did come around 3 times in the week to change the bedding and towels, it's just that they do come around quite early, so if your still sleeping then you will miss them.

Hotel food is available, but it's not a very big menu as most of the guest prefer to dine out. Sandwiches etc are available upon request.

The location was superb, 150 metres or so away form the beach, even less to the local shop. and only a 20 minute walk way from the square, this is where the majority of the nightclubs and bars are, but there are bars along the way.

The hotel staff were friendly and helpful in anyway they could be. No arguements from us there.

There was no hotel entertainment. Although we did not expect any, we were on a lads holiday and we made our own!

Oh dear, not very nice place, shabby and dirty, not much evidence of cleaning, lifts dirty and slow that was if working.

Rooms were large, didnt feel safe with locks on doors. A lot of noise from neighbouring hotels, shouting whistling very rowdy especially at night.

Only good point close to beach. My advice would be to look for another place to stay.

I went to stay in the Picasso Apartments. In my party there was a total of 14 people, it was clean enough.
We were directed to the 2 lifts and they were really shakey.

Even though we were self catering we did try the hotel food when we were spending days around the pool and it was good value.

The location was superb you only had a couple of minutes walk to the beach and were only about 5 minutes from the town. Great for getting home from the pub.

The hotel staff didnt really interact with us during our stay. There was a very little entertainment, but due to the convinience of the hotel I would stay there again.

These apartments are in the Rincon area of benidorm only a short walk from the beach. The building is a little shabby looking from the outside as you first see it side on when the tour bus draws up!
Inside - good sized apartment, very clean, bright and well furnished.
Staff - very friendly and helpful.
Food - meals / snacks served throughout the day and bar facilities also available relatively cheaply.
Pool - nice pool including kids area fairly private area (walled off from the outside street). Terrace area to sit and eat etc.
Entertainment - None in the hotel unless high season - although lots of free entertainment on the door step - litterally bars and clubs all around.
We liked this place, it would appeal to most and we would visit again!

Just spent two weeks staying at the Picasso, overall our stay there was okay. The apartments on the outside do look a bit shabby the rooms themselves were nice and clean. You did get a check list of items to check but I can understand why that is, I myself broke an ashtray and a plate during my stay and replaced them rather than risk losing my deposit. The apartments were secure enough as you got a key to your room and an outside door key as well . There was also a night porter on hand. I had no problem with the lifts although they were small and sometimes slow, they were adequate. Nice large balcony although limited how much sun you got. Same with the pool, that was in the shade for much of the day due to the high rise buildings around, but that would probably be the same elsewhere. Cleaners never bothered us in our rooms, always waited till we were out, but there was one cleaner whom on a morning would burst any items that had been left in the pool, this happened to our boat which was a bit annoying so take up items to your room. No problems with privacy and found the owner to be very helpful. Food at the bar was fine and the staff were helpful enough. With regard to Sunset holidays whom we booked with the reps were often at our apartments and regularly popped a note through the door to let you know when they would be there. There was also a washing machine available for use for 3 Euros and 1 Euro for soap powder if need be. Cooker was also fine. Only problem was the bed settee that had to be made into a double which was quite uncomfortable and a hassle, in the end just left the bed made up. Location was pretty central although there is quite a bank to walk up. It was close enough for beach and indoor market and pubs.

Overall had a great holiday in Benidorm. Loads to do for the kids, shops after shops for those shopaholics, very reasonable for eating out John and Josephs was the best prices, but the Mundial Cafe was found right at the end of our holiday right on the beach front near where the boat picks up which did fantastic large english breakfast and you were overlooking the seaviews. Nighttime entertainment was great, in fact we had a lovely holiday but a bit too much hussle and bustle for me.
