Location
Hotel was spotlessly clean and as for the facilities they were really good for my 23 month old. Nice outdoor play area, 2 indoor pools, trampoline and small mini golf area.
For adults there was a fantastic fitness centre, sauna, steam room, Jacuzzi all free of charge(1 euro for swimm hat).
Food was fine, daily champagne breakfasts with full english choice and evening meal centred around 3 large buffets salad, soup, main course and desserts.
Entertainment was typical of a spanish hotel but given the hotels excellent location on the edge of the old town you didn't have to go far for the lively entertainment of levavte / Rincon or a quiet drink overlooking the marina in the old town.
Would certainly go back to this hotel.

We have been in 5 star hotels where they maybe have had more choice but didn't refill as often. The staff at the Princesa were always refilling the food trays and would always get you anything you asked for. They were polite and friendly and spoke very good English.
The outdoor pool was far too cold but the indoor pool was good. you needed swim caps inside (they sold these for just over

Entertainment forget about it, Not a 4 star hotel, wouldn't stay at hotel again.

Do not expect 5 Star catering, you get what you pay for, and it's cheap.
Britannia Bar next door very cheap and ALL football matches played.

Pool area was ok if you where lucky enough to get a good spot every day as the building opposite shades the pool and one side does not get any sun until after 2'O'Clock in the afternoon. Super slide for the kids and a jacuzzi for to relax in also the pool does not open until ten in the morning so you have to queue for a sunbed which are the most uncomfortable ones that I have ever come across in all the years of going abroad.
The hotel restaurant's opening hours were 8am to 10am for breakfast of which we missed most mornings as being on holiday you don't expect to have to get up so early. Then you had to wait until 8pm in the evenings until the restaurant opened for your evening meal and then it was like a stampede. The Spanish do not know that there is a beginning and and an end to a queue. Food was very bland and if you have a picky child then all there is for them to eat is chips and bap, we ate out quite a lot.
We would go back to this hotel again if the English tour companies brought it up to the standards of other hotels and introduced, English people, English food and English entertainment.

The accomodation was very good but the food was not up to 4* standard. Breakfasts were fine, but the Evening Meals were a bit of a let down; the food was ok but was a bit repetative and was in need of some inspiration. Would not recommend for children. Drinks in the Bar were very reasonable and they are the same price in the mini-bar in your room.
As stated on other reports I have seen, the evening entertainment caters more for "Recycled Teenagers", but as Benidorm has a variety of entertainment options, then this is not a problem.
Full sized coaches cannot pull-up outside the Hotel, as it is located on a narrow street that is up a slight hill. Carrying/dragging your cases up/down the hill in hot weather, is not my idea of a holiday. We decided to use a Taxi to/from the Airport (

Couldnt wait to get started on my holiday the pool is nice theres a slider to keep the children entertained the staff at the bar are very nice we were pretty well tied to the hotel being full board.
The food was ok the restaurant doesnt open till 8pm and does chips and one choose of food for the kids.
I wish I never went full board as on a evening we went out for walks I saw some really cheap places to eat the hotel was full of Spanish only a few English familys staying.
The evening entertainment was all in Spanish there was nothing for the kids to do in the evening no kids club but it doesnt say in brochure but you would have thought being the kids half term there would have put something on for the children.
Not recommended for children and if you can put up with the Spanish entertainment every night you will be ok!
I found alot of them quite rude and had to be served first in the day time all the spanish school kids came in and used the pool in the afternoon and got a bit over crowed the day we were leaving the coach was picking us up before the restaurant opened and was told we had to go down into a different place for breakfast, only to find no food, a jug of water and tea bags and a microwave and warm orange juice so the next time the boys eat from 6am was on the plane coming home at 2.
But the the rooms were nice, tv, hairdryer, mini bar really clean still nice views at the bottom.
Hope this is usefull information for anyone going.

There was a reasonable choice of all courses during each meal time, breakfast, lunch, and dinner.
The hotel rooms were on the small size but were very
nice and warm,(perfect for when we came wandering in after a night out!)bathroom was ok as well plenty of hot water.
We also had a mini bar and tv plus the usual safety box.
All the staff were friendly at all times from the cleaners, reception and all bar staff.
