The resort is called Olu Deniz region, i know, blimey region, but in all honesty, the region takes in Fethiye, Ovacik, Hisaronu, and Olu Deniz itself, all are within minutes by dolmus.
Olu Deniz has a great beach with the world famous blue lagoon, surrounded with sand, it is spotless there,unfotunatley the beach itself is pebbles, not to my liking, with loads to do from para gliding off babadag, (not for the faint hearted), to snorkling in the lagoon itself,
Bars and restaurants are endless, although people tend to venture to Hisaronu for a night out, where again, bars , restaurants and nights clubs are bustling, in my opinion it is the best area to have a turkish holiday, whether you are a 20's couple, a family or a group of a dozen or so, and believe me when i say "i have tried other resorts"

Calis is a developing area and the building is done out of the holiday season.
The resort is very clean and tidy and has everything you need.
There is alot of entertainment for all age groups.
The beach is made of shingle and sand the water like the beach is very clean.
We will visit Calis again, we loved it!!!!!!!!!!

Ovacik is situated between Fethiye and Hisaronu,It is situated away from the main road so it is very quiet and peaceful.If you want to go shopping Fethiye is the place to go to.If its night life you are after then its got to be Hisaronu wih hundreds of bars and goog restaurants.Staying in Ovacik you really have the best of both worlds depending on what you are after.

Calis is a small friendly very clean resort. It has many bars and restaurants and everyone is so friendly. You don't get pestered as you do in the bigger resorts like Marmaris. I can honestly say we have never had a bad meal in the resort. The resort is full of shops selling good quality clothes for very little money.
What is especially nice is that you can go anywhere for very little money. You can get the Dolmus (bus) anywhere. all day up till 11.30 pm you can catch a dolmus boat over to Fethiye. This is a town across the river. It has a Marina where you can see (if your lucky) great big turtles swimming in the sea. It had bars, restaurants, shops supermarkets, open markets etc. Great day out for all. The average meal price for 5 is around £20.
