first time in turkey and we found this hotel and the staff excellant - staff went out of their way to be friendly - the bar staff were very good joined in and made everyone feel welcome - pool and grounds kept well - breakfast was substantial for a turkish breakfast downside the wasps but you expect some sort of insects after all we where abroad - any probelms were sorted immediatley - the walk down the track was not too bad about 5 to 7 minutes to catch the dolumus or on may occassions we walked into hissaronu about 20 mins and caught the taxi back about 8ytl for hissaronu had snacks in the hotel at lunch very good- throughly enjoyed the holiday - some of the staff stayed up till 3.15am on the morning of our departure to say goodbye - would come back again

Clean hotel if you dont mind sleeping in the same sheets for a week and not getting clean towels on a daily basis. The hotel could be lovely but it just seemed that the staff were only interested in you if yo were happy to drink till 2am. Many a time we commented on the noise around the pool around 2am and this went on despite our complaints. This hotel is no way a 4 star more like a 2 star. The breakfasts are lousy and tablecloths were filthy. Changed once a week and if any food was left over from the night before it made its way to the breakfast table. A poor hotel that could really improve with listening to its clients. Not all of us want to stay in a noisy, rowdy hotel!!!!! A holiday is for rest as well so really was dissapointed with this hotel and will not return.

on arrival we were slighlty disapointed, it is not a 10 min walk to Hisaronu as stated on website more like 30mins and we are fast walkers! hills are very steep.
staff were friendly, cleaners very jolly, rooms were cleaned most days, towels wasnt changed that often in the second week though. breakfast was average altohugh your best off getting there early as there are lots of wasps that are around the food,very annoying!
overall quite clean hotel although one day we stayed around the pool area and there was broken glass on the floor, we told manageress twice before it was dealt with, not good when your walking around barefoot to go into the pool!
not much entertainment as such, one day by the pool the manageress started an excercise class for guests,not sure if it was a regular thing we didnt really stay round the pool much. All other staff are friendly and will answer any queries or questions about the area and places to visit.
Be aware if you book trips with companies most will be late, one time they even forgot to pick us up! usually waiting at least half hour! this happened to most of the guests with various trip companies!
Only saw the rep once quite friendly didnt really have any probs to report anyway. although one guest had a concern over the bill querie - she was being charged for drinks she hadnt ordered and the rep just said that its nothing to do with goldtrail! Be aware of what you are ordering at the bar - you have to sign it off and pay at reception afterwards, there were many guests that were being overcharged etc. so dont shout out your room number in case people overhear and start to use it, and also pay for the drinks as soon as you can dont let your bill build up.
Food and drinks are not allowed back to your room, staff are quite strict about this, searching carrier bags etc, so waht we did was just put it in your beachbag on the way in.
if you want to go to the beach the hotel staff will phone them up and they come and pick up from hotel and take you to the beach and return you later, free of charge! there are many beaches that do this our favourite was Seahorse.
Overall a great holiday,lovely guests (Brian and Julie, Pete and Babs- Channel 9 !) would reccomend sunshine but only to those that enjoy walking!
Not sure if would return to sunshine but definetly would to Hisaronu, felt that 2 weeks wasnt long enough.

I would recommend this hotel just like the pictures you see on Internet rooms spacious and clean, beautiful location one downside up a steep hill OK walking down bit of a killer walking back up did a couple of times then took taxis not too expensive. ?

The staff all very friendly, the pool is fantastic good size and clean, there was no entertainment but hisaronu only five minutes in taxi lots of nightlife.

On the hotel website it satetes 16 min walk to busy resort centre ,more like a 25 min walk There was no room service ,no newspapers ,no laundry and as it states a luxery 4 star i would rate this hotel 2 star. The management had a really bad attitude to guests, the locks on the doors were broken and after 2 days of reporting this problem they moved us to another room only to discover that a week later other guests had been put into the room still with broken locks. the breakfast was terrible and was often the previous nights dinner left overs.On a positive note the pool was lovely and the rooms were cleaned every day!
