Son Bou has a beautiful beach - lovely clear blue sea! Really nice to walk along the lengh of the beach but watch out for the naturists!!

There are a few restaurants in the town - we thought the best was Andrea's - gorgeous food.
There are a few bars - copacabana is the biggest.

There is a little train (son Bou express) whihc goes round the town and you can get to some of the out of town hotels and villas on it.

we also got the bus to mahon (mao) which has a lovel harbour is a good trip out if you get a bit bored with the beach and shops in son bou!

The shops, restaurants can be expensive so beware!. The Las Dunas for food, and the Hawaiin Bar for drinks we can recommend. Bus service excellent and cheap so you can see the island that way if you wish. Ideal for a relaxing time!

Resort quiet, few shops and restaurants, excellent for families who want pleasant family holidays. Very little in the way of night life so would not suit groups of young people. Ideal for children families and older people.

Beach is fabulous- clean, good sand for play, plenty of life guards.

Son Bou definately the best resort by far very quiet with only a few restaurants and bars but the charm of this resort beats many of the resorts in Menorca it keeps its spanish charm and is extremely clean I was there for 7 nights and I honestly can say that I didn't see one piece of litter.

Beach was stunning the best on Menorca by far. Good supermarkets as well that you can stock up on supplies if you are self catering.

Saw a few of the resorts in Menorca and Son Bou definately came out top with everything spotless, fantastic beach and great bus stop where you can catch buses to various spots on the island.

I found everything in Menorca very resonable and actually came back with over half of my spending money!

Son Bou is small but lovely. The beach is close to paradise. There is a selection of shops all with plenty of gifts. A super but small resort but definitly worth another visit.

we found some nice restaurants, bonis,v good, nice inside as well,Frans was good and a bit cheaper as food and drink not cheap in minorca, best Avocado prawns was in beach bar opposite our room in the sea view, think it would be the middle one on beach, perfect to watch the sunset as well,we loved it there and was recomended to go there,Hawai bar for cocktails, bit expensive, but a bit of fun with waiter and waitress on roller scates, and you get a garland thrown round neck, didnt seem very alcoholic but lots of fruit which ihad as starter or pudding alot of people didnt eat there fruit it was good.Las Dunas was good as well very friendly had our first meal there.couldnt get into casa andres very busy you need to book, we didnt bother, lovely chines by the Irish bar, went there twice as i was told that was better than hong kong one,if you have liquer though look in bottom of glass before you drink it back!i was amazed, still chuckle now, some could be offended perhaps!
More to do in this resort than alot of others, we walked in to Sant Thomas about 1hr10mins, nice walk as it wasnt to sunny, picnic on the beach and walk back, not much there though think i would have been bored, we hired a funny little 2 seater car no doors or back window, good fun, took us to el torro and fornells, lovely village ,went to old capital and around, all nice to see, but glad we stopped where we di, great holiday had by both,no moans, but then holidays are what you make it,there are games for teens and a disco ,pool and few machines, supermarket, and few shops, not party animal place but nice for most.

Although the resort was very small, there was enough restaurants to visit and the standard of food was excellent, alot of choice for the adults but not so much for the children. Two restaurants in particular which were very nice and highly recommended were Restaurant Boni and Restaurant Son Bou, definitely worth a visit. There was a funfair on the sea front which our 2 year old son adored and couldn't get past it each night without paying it a visit. There were a few supermarkets which catered for everybody and there were plenty of English brands to choose from. The beach was superb and definitely the best beach I have ever seen and extremely child friendly, very safe and the lifeguard was always on hand should you need him. All in all, a small resort with enough facilities for everybody and well worth a visit, we will definitely return.

I would say the whole resort is more for families there were a few children there but thats not to stop us having a good laugh.

The beach was roughly 10 mins walk away and it was absolutley wonderful extremley clear waters though the waves were powerful at times great fun! food overall was excellent and I would truly recommed Casa Andreas resturant and go for chateaubriand ( i think its the local dish ) there is a few bars there enough for 1 week to try ,the Hawaiian Bar is a great fun all waiters on roller skates and cocktails are good. Any blokes off there no probs for footy matches all plazma screens in every pub/resturant.

Overall though well worth a trip specially if you have not been before - a very chilled relaxing holiday.

The resort,Son bou, wasn't particularly clean but it was an excellent resort to stay in.

There was good enterainment and lots of family clubs where children were allowed in, but we didnt use it much because the hotel entertainment was good.

The beach was really nice and the sea was really clear and full of fish. It was a long beach so it was never to busy.

I would definitly go back to the resort.
