this is only the second time we have been abroad but because of the fun we had we didn't want to come home.. everyone in the hotel from cleaning staff to bar staff and especially the entertainment team were brilliant...The food was plentiful and if I do have to fault it it was only that there was not a great variety for the younger children...We will certainly be going back again and maybe within the year if things go to plan..the entertainment staff cannot be faulted they did there utmost to keep the kids and adults occupied and never seemed put out by anything especially Danny who was a great favourite with everyone.. well done san eloy

Lovely traditional spanish town with a variety of things to do for all ages. The streets were clean, the people friendly and plenty of restaurants and bars to suit all tastes.

Tossa de mar has and old Spanish feel about the place..lovely little side streets with interesting shops..A visit to the "Old Town" is a must..please include a visit to the Municipal museum..very friendly English speaking staff...Beach is clean but Shingle and if you have time take one of the excellent boat trips on offer..
One slight word of warning to those accustomed to visiting other Tourist parts of Costa Brava...Prices in Tossa are well above other parts of the Costa..so bring some extra cash...Market day is Thursday and is well worth a visit..

Beautiful place with clean beaches, lots of little shops to visit and great views from the castle. The boat trips to other resorts along the coast are very interesting as you get to see all the little coves and beaches along the way from the sea.

Gorgeous resort, nice little shops and restaurants. I'd recommend climbing Vila Vella, go up from the back (ie, not the path from the beach) as it's a nicer walk, then walk down onto the beach. It's a bit of a climb, so don't do it in the middle of the day. But it's not too strenuous, old people and a guy on crutches were there the same day as us!
If you go to Waterworld you have to ask for a bus ticket to Lloret (it's free if you're going to waterworld) and then get the free Waterworld bus from there. We bought our tickets from the reps, it was the same price as the tickets at the park and you got the free bus ticket too.
The bus to Barcelona was 16 euros return, you have to specify a return time when you buy your ticket. You can also but the Barcelona tour bus tickets at Tossa bus station (you get a 10% discount, bringing price down to 14.40 euros.)
Don't get off at Barcelona bus station, wait until the next stop, it's more central.
The boats along to Lloret and other resorts are about every half hour, but don't run much after 5pm, so watch out for that! It's worth a trip though.

The resort was very clean and tidy, but there was not any entertainment in Tossa De Mar. The Beach was gorgeous, but the water was cold. I would visit the resort again, but I would not visit this hotel. The people that lived there were friendly and welcoming.

the resort was closing down for the season as we arrived in early october even though it was half term holiday in england.there were very few bars and restaurants open in the evening and those that were open had run out of most drinks.there appeared to be very little entertainment on in other hotels.

Resort was just like the hotel, dirty, un-friendly and very un-interesting. Beach was fake. Just don't go there.

Tossa de Mar is a great Spanish Resort, nothing like its Neighbour Lloret. No high rise Hotels, lovely Beach, I think more bars and Restaurants than anywhere I know.
Not a place I would say for the Young crowd.

The resort was extremley clean and they always had some entertainment going on some where. The people were brilliant not a lot of English but the local people were fantastic with us and the kids especially they took a real shine to them.
It has a really good market once a week and there is countless shops all of which are run by nice people.
The restaurants are also brilliant especially Tom and Tracys steak house.
All in all it was perfect.
