We had a 2 bedroomed appartment which was well equipped with all your essentials. The pool was really nice except for where the showers were it was really slippery where my daughter and hubby both fell and did hurt themselves.

The staff at the sunvillage were really very rude and it was hard to even get a smile off any of them. The only person we found to be really nice was the taxi driver willy as he was so helpful and he always said good morning unlike the rest of the staff.

I must say that the new aqua park was brill and peaceful considering all the noisey groups at sun village especially the nakered ones.

I also didn't like the night time walking to the bars as it was lit up at all so can be dangerous also all the drivers are maniacs they just don't care about pedestrians at all.

Stayed in a two bed roomed apartment which was very spacious and well equipped. A few minor problems plug socket fell of the wall and no plugs in the sink, but were rectified when reported. The view was not very spectacular we overlooked out the back of the hotel, but considering the noise which was coming from the pool at night we were quite pleased.

Did not have a problem getting a sunbed whilst we were there but people do tend to reserve them. Pool did get a bit grotty by the end of our two week holiday a lot of dead flies and bugs floating in there and also some of the railings had fell of between the children

When we arrived at the Sun Village it was lovely, when we entered the rooms we were amazed at the size of the rooms, we had a ensuite and the kids had a bathroom so they were pleased, the living room was huge and the kitchen was well equiped with all you needed. We had a ground floor room which opened on to the pool and gardens which was lovely.
Sheets got changed three times while we where there.

The location was fine about 10 minutes walk to the beach and all the main shops, there is a local supermarket called the Balli which sold everything, from water to fresh cooked chickens right from the oven.

When we arrived at 5am in morning we were given a 1 bedroom APARTMENT to sleep 5 adults and 1 12 year old When we complained woman sat behind counter was not helpful very ignorant.

We had to phone thompson rep ourselves that time of morning to complain. We had to manage that till rep turned up at 12 that afternoon.

WE BOOKED A 2 BEDROOM APARTMENT for a family of 6 but got this on arival we had to wait 3 days for a two bedroom apartment, We were not amused.

Staff was very ignorant and watched every move you made, everything seemed to much trouble for them.

When we got the right apartment that was not to bad was big floor got very wet when showering tap used to come off everytime you put it on so you got a soaking air conditioning would not keep living area cool.

Sheets only changed once in whole fortnight and towells changed once a week.

Rep was not much help at all waited for 3 days for her to sort out about a car then she told us that she could not get one We got one then straight away.

No entertainment there in the night at all and only a little second week for the kids in day very poor.
Food there was very poor.

Location of this complex not good, very dark, poor lighting on the road leading to it. dangerous in the dark big pot holes everwhere.

Would not recommend.

Just back from this great apartment complex. We stayed in a family room which opened out to the pool. The rooms were that big, the three kids were happy to sleep on the fold down bed in the living area, the 2nd bedroom was never used. We could have accommodated another three or four comfortably!

Very well equipped kitchenette, oven, hob, kettle, toaster, etc. Also supplied with iron, ironing board and even a clothes horse.

Air conditioning was a gift, the weather was in the low to mid 30s almost every day. Maid service was excellent, though we did tip them regularly, so maybe we got better attention than some other posters. They called to our apartment every day without fail.

Didn't really eat much at the restaurant, a few breakfasts and some drinks, food seemed to be ok. Pricewise , it was a lot cheaper to eat out.

Pools were spacious and well maintained.

Entertainment was almost non existent, but we spent most of our time 'up town' anyway. We found the reception and bar staff were only too willing to help in any way, although their English wasn't great, but then again neither was our Bulgarian. If your looking for a taxi, reception staff will order it for you and then stand outside to make sure you get the right one. Safes in reception cost 50lev for two weeks, great peace of mind as there is someone there 24hrs.

There is night time security on site but they're not 'in your face' as we have experienced in Spain.

On the last day of the holiday, our bus pick up was for 7.50pm. We were able to keep our room from 12 till 6pm for only 30lev! All in all we had a fantastic time here.

We booked a two bedroom and it was very big the kitchen had everything you could need there were two bathrooms but we could only use one as the other was blocked from day one.

The guy that was suppose to fix all of this when we told him just shrugged his shoulder and done nothing the budget Rep was not much better. The bar staff were very nice and friendly the maids were lovely and helpful.

No entertainment in the hotel even though the brochure says it has and the shop its suppose to have is not there the reception sells crisps and that's all.

The only down on the holiday was the bathroom and the smell from it which my husband had to clean.

Stayed for 2 weeks. Hotel out the way as road was really dark at night.

Found a short cut the 2nd week. Hotel was clean we booked a 2 bedroom apartment was was realy spacious had air conditioning which was usefull as really warm. 1 bathroom shower did not work and still did not work when we came away although it was reported. Staff did not understand and were ignorant.

Was very noisy at night with people returning from nights out. There was a great group of people the 2nd week which made the holiday as there was nothing to do apart from the pool.

Beds were only changed twice in the 2 weeks and clean towels when we asked for them. Would go back to Bulgaria but not to this hotel, too far from the main resort. Thompson rep was not very helpful.

Would have been lot better if there had been some evening entertainment even a few times a week to save having to go to the town every night.

Our apartments faced on to a building site which was noisy some mornings.

We ended up in a 1 bed room apartment, however had paid Thomson for a 2 bed apprtmt. Apparantley lots of people had the same problem and were downgraded to 1 bed appartments. However these are very spacious and clean.
I would not go back to Sun Village as the road up to this is terrible and extremely dangerous when walking along this especially at night time with children. The maid service was pretty good but the management and bar staff were quite abrubt and agrressive.

They seemed to change the cost for juice etc each time you went in for drinks especially if the children went to buy this. We had various different problems while we were there and so did a lot of the other holidaymakers as we were constantly hearing complaints.

I think that this is a bit of a shame as the apprtments are very nice but the staff and the roads around this were pretty poor. Thomsons kept telling people that they were having teething problems but the rep (who was also diabolical) admitted to me that he was tired of trying to sort the managemnt out and it was a constant battle.

I know this sounds quite negative but beleive me I haven't even described the various problems that did arise as this would definatley put every one off.

Sun Village apartments were one of the best places we have stayed in. We had a two bedroomed apartment and it was very clean and very well equipped (oven, hob, fridge, kettle, toaster, iron and ironing board and all the necessary crockery and cutlery)

The staff were very helpful in the restaurant, bar area tried their best with the language barrier and paid loads of attention to our young children. Shame the same can't be said for the reps.

The food and service was lovely and very well priced. We had to ask for clean towels because we weren't supplied any but they were more than happy to help.

The location of the apartments was poor right near some rundown locals apartments felt a bit dodgy but no one ever bothered us if anything the locals would help where ever they could. I would recommend taking a torch because there's no street lights and the dirty tracks around the hotel are very poor.

Apartments were really spacious and clean. We were a family with two teenage boys, nothing for them to do at hotel other than go in pool which was was quite a large pool. We didn't eat much at hotel as boys didn't like selection, no pizza!

Staff were nice but felt Thomson reps didn't have very good info about activties other than going to Thomson excursions.

We found out that within walking distance we had two Aqua parks and go karting, which boys loved. Like other reports the area the hotel was in was really run down and also pitch dark at night as no street lights.

Entertainment for young children was good during day but nothing at night. Don't think we would go back to Bulgaria again but maybe in a few years this area would be more developed and welcoming.
