actually surprised about ayia napa. yes, there are your typical 'british' bars and pubs but we found some classy bars and restaurants which i would recommend. a great greek, italian, indian and contemporary restaurant choice and some 'wow' bars near the centre.
you could go for the full on rave up if you wanted but we're too old for that (35!). and we also saw a lot of families so a good resort for all. avoid protaras unless you're over 50 and/or bored.

excellent place to go no matter wot age, we went in a grou between under 1 and over 60s and every one of the 30 odd loved it, and all want to go bk

The Hotel was so wonderful for my husband and I there was no need to go anywhere else, however the some of our party did go to the beach and into Aya Nappa and had a great time

the resort was very clean, entertainment around the resort was good. the beach was exellent with golden sand and an assortment of water sports.

ayia napa, me and my family have been to cyprus 8 times in 10yrs 5 times to ayia napa, we will not be going again unless the cypriot authorities clean the streets of the moronic alcohol and drug fueled youths, from what i saw to be mainly english, i am all in favour of having a good time but they have spoilt it completly stay away!

I didnt know what to expect of Ayia but I have to say its one of the best resorts we have stayed in there are loads of amazing rests and bars our favs are Liquid and The Sage if you turn left out of the hotel go to the top and turn left again the are just on the road on the left. While your there you must go to Nissi Beach its great we walked and it took 1hr 15 min but a taxi cost between 8 and 10 euros

Not much to do of a night. Resort on the onl main road that goes into Ayan Napa. Lots of tourist shops. Beach at Sandy Bay very nice.

The resort of Ayia Napa is Great loads to do and lots of fantastic eateries, a must is the Limelight Taverna, You won't be dissapointed. Ayia Napa could do with a great big hose down though, as they have no rain (ever) it is a bit on the grubby side. The beachers are OK if you are a beach lover. Having been to Ayia Napa twice I would not go again.
