The beach wasn't to bad at all, apart from the dirty stray cats and dogs! The nightlife was excellent, brilliant choice of bars to get you in the party swing and when the music switches off at 12, theres a fair few clubs to finish off the night. The holiday was my first abroad without my family and it was by far the best holiday i have ever been on. Kos is the place for the nightlife and the Kardamos is the hotel for a cheap holiday and friendly atmosphere.

nightlife in kadamena is excellent...until midnight then all the music is stopped.the only place to go then is a soundproofed nightclub n get ripped off for drinks.

Been to Kos before and love it. Kardamena is awesome with tons of great bars without it being like Ibiza. The beach is ok but a bit rocky.

resort cleanliness could have been better but we have seen worse in other countries. entertainment was fine the bars on bar street noisy and loud but very very good for the younger end. the cocktail bars fantastic, the beach was ok but tends to be rocky and you cant make good sandpies with the sand. all in all a fantastic little resort.

The town of Kardamena is a mile from the Aegean Village complex - just as well because the noise from the music bars at night is deafening as you walk past. Nightlife is perfect I would guess for the youngsters.
During the day, a stroll around the many shops is well worthwhile. I'm not sure whether I'm allowed to mention specific eating establishments, but if I am, the only two we tried for lunch were excellent in terms of value and food quality - Posidonia at the east end and Nemo's at the far west end, assuming that facing out to sea is looking north.
All in all, I'd say this venue is terrific. I know everyone's idea of what is good is different but if you want friendly people, plenty of car hire outlets and eating out or bar spots, then you will enjoy your stay here. I know the nice weather puts a different slant on things but we had 25ยบ of sun every day.

We stayed outside Kardemena hence the ratings. We did go into Kardemena but didn't use the beach although it was better than where we were staying but not as good as some greek islands i've been to. Cant comment on the entertainment either as where we were staying was non existant. Not sure i would revisit Kos again.

Resort cleanliness was great, very clean at all times.There was always a cleaner on duty.
Resort entertainment boring and un-entertaining!
The beach was a stone beach, so ended up with sore feet by the end of the holiday. Was plenty of watersports to keep you occupied during the day. Great to go in the water with a mask as there were plenty of fascinating fish to look at whilst swimming.
There was also a free bar on the beach so that was nice!

Good lively resort with lots of places to eat and drink, unfortunatly had to move resorts due to there being no other accommadaion in Kardamena so never got to sample the nightlife.

We stayed at the Zoubuila Apartments for the second year runnung. Staff very friendly. Room clean. We love Kos and Kardemena. Very welcoming place to go.
