Just got back from the Levante Club hotel after a weeks stay.

The hotel was great the staff very helpful and friendly nothing was too much trouble. Our room was cleaned every day to a very high standard as was the rest of the hotel.

The food was excellent plenty of choice on the buffet my husband loved the full english every morning!

The location was OK about 10 mins walk to the beach and the main bars.

We stayed in a few nights and the entertainment was ok in the hotel . It wasn't sunbathing weather but the pool area looked very nice we would definately stay there again.

This hotel has to be one of the best hotel in Benidorm, I I'm a travel agent I'm always looking for a great hotel at a reasonable price. This hotel was 10 out of 10 .

I thought that all the staff were fab , the food was really good , nice and hot and with plenty of choice . As you enter the main restaurant there is a chef cooking a dish, i.e chicken fillets, beef fillets ,grilled fish etc.

As you walk around past the chef there is a large buffet area which has a wide selection of salads, hot food which normally consists of two meet choices and a fish option. there is normally chips, potatoes and a couple of vegetables.

There is soup and this is accompanied by a wide selection of breads.

There is also a selection of deserts and ice creams.

When you sit a a table you will be served by a wine waiter/ress. These are really friendly people.

I did think that the drinks were expensive especially the water .

However the food was really good.

The rooms at the hotel were fantastic, the bathroom was well equipped, there was a large bath with a shower also a separate shower cubical plus a toilet ( no lock in the bathroom - can be a bit difficult at times ), TRY and ask for a corner room the balconies are much larger and go round the corner !

All in all great hotel, friendly staff and I will definitely return in the future.

The Hotel was very clean and when we arrived we checked in straight away no problems! The rooms were very spacious and really nice! The bathrooms were 4 star definitely, all glass windows in the bathroom to separate toilet, bath and shower cubicle! The room was nice although the beds had a massive gap down the middle even when pushed together. The balcony was pretty big and there are 2 chairs and a table, with a clothes hanger!

The pool area was really nice, although decent sunbeds were unavailable until late afternoon unless you were up early enough, however the sun probably doesn't come out properly til late morning so this isn't that bad(because of the hills to the left of the hotel). The pool is of a fair size and no inflatables are allowed in.

Of course Spain is now no smoking so the only area you can smoke is the Dickens Bar at the bottom of the Hotel, however the bar was always shut and nobody was ever in there! People still smoked by the side of the pool which was disgusting.

The evening entertainment was poor, the people couldnt sing but it did finish by midnight so that wasnt too bad.
The food, well we was abit unsure whether to eat the meat because of the bad reports on it. However it was really nice, one night we couldnt find anything to eat because we didn't want to touch the meat in case it was uncooked, however it was always hot or warm, never cold, breakfast was the same every morning but it was always warm. The restaurant staff always give you funny looks and I think only 2-3 of them can speak English!

Would definitely stay at the Levante Club Hotel again.

When arriving at the hotel we knew what to expect from the outside having seen it the year before but were very shocked and pleased with the interior and rest of the hotel.

It was spotless throughout and the rooms were of a very high quality and the staff could not do enough to help you. Especially the lifeguard (Diego) what a complete star. The two ladies in our party would liked to of helped him. That being said all the staff at the hotel "hi Ishmail, Kat & Jonaton"just to name a few were of a very high standard.

Now the bad........the food was at best edible not enjoyable not being a funny eater I thought there would be at least something I would like everyday but this was not to be the case and this was the same for all our party. We ended up opting for the lunch and eating out at night as this was a bit better than the night time food but only just.

Entertainment for kids is almost non existent much better for the adults we played water polo in the first week and played water polo the 2nd I think you get the idea. 1 important bit of advice please keep a very short rein on young children, we were at one of the bars across the road and a Spanish bloke tried to snatch the 2 young boys in our party promising them free games on the arcade machines The reps were told by us but said they were not going to say anything cause it might put people off coming there. Regardless of this I would have liked to of knew and I think families with younger kids should.

Would be a much better hotel if it was just self catering..........

Have just returned, we were slightly concerned before we went after reading some bad reviews about the food, we had no complaints at all.

There was 11 of us including children and everyone always found something they liked.

The hotel was always spotless, the rooms large, lifts worked, staff friendly. Bit of a walk to the beach but not too far, one of our group is 7 months pregnant and she managed.

The staff were friendly and helpful. The entertainment was a bit hit and miss, outside acts only on for 45 mins a night, all Spanish, mainly circus type acts, we enjoyed some others we didn

We have just returned from a week stay at this lovely hotel.

Hotel/rooms were spotless. Had read some reviews before leaving about the food choice, have to say we all managed to find something tasty.

Catering staff helpful, previous report had mentioned food was cold, we didn't find this at all.

Bedrooms great, lots of space, we had an end room so had extra space on the side ( room 10).

We had asked for a high floor, was allocated 6th floor, high enough for a good view.

Only down side for us was that it was a "stampede" in the morning ( doors open at around 9am)to get good placed sun bed and an umbrella for shade

Nice wee bar across the road called "Beers friends". most of the hotel custom seemed to go there for a snack, prices very reasonable, friendly staff.

Would most likely go back to this hotel, but not in August as it

Avoid this hotel if you can !!!!

We stayed for 1 week on a Half Board basis. Breakfasts were of the same nature most days. Evening meals were quite boring, not much variety and if you stayed here for 2 weeks I'm sure you would get really bored with the meals.

Reception staff were quite unhelpful and some had very bad English and were very hard to understand.

Rooms were clean and large. All balconies have a view of the pool.

Pool is open in summer months from 9 am. The doors leading to the pool are closed until 9 am and when opened holiday makers literally run outside to get the best sun loungers and parasols. Very amusing to watch from your balcony.

As there are 19 floors at peak times such as breakfast and dinner you can sometimes be waiting for the lift to arrive for a very long time.

On our second day here whilst our party were sat by on our sun loungers our bag was stolen containing many expensive objects. Hotel staff were uninterested and did not even make a note of the incident.

Entertainment is very poor and some nights it is limbo dancing and musical chairs for the children, with this often starting at near 11 pm which is when small children are starting to get quite tired. Noisy too if you are trying to sleep after 12 am

One of the entertainment guys who does a lot with the children is very annoying. He pushes people into the people if they are passing the pool area and will sometimes throw a bucket of water over unsuspecting sunbathers.

This is supposed to be a 4* hotel, maybe they should review this.

The hotel was spotless at all times. Towels are changed everyday. The rooms are big and modern. There is frosted glass in the bathroom so you can see in - not very private and no lock on the bathroom door. There is a walk in shower cubicle and separate shower over the bath. We had four beds in our room, so there was not any room to get out of bed. Bunk beds would be better for the kids and create more room.

The food was a bit hit and miss. Some nights it was good other nights it was terrible. Most of the time the food was hot and the restaurant staff were kept busy restocking the buffet. There was not a lot of choice for vegetarians, I got by on lettuce, tomatoes and the occassional vegetables. Rice was available a couple of nights and grilled veg or pasta. Salad dishes contained meat. There was usually one or two vegetables each night along with chips or boiled/mashed potatoes. The choice for meat eaters was good. Always at least 3 0r 4 meat dishes. The desserts were nice and plenty of choice. Lots of nice fruit. However the food did get boring after 2 weeks.

On our last two nights the childrens menu was offered to us. It is not advertised so you need to ask about it. There is usually a choice of two meals for kids.

The restaurant staff often took a while to ask you what drinks you wanted. The tables are set for two people, so anymore and you are waiting round for extra cutlery. Breakfast was good. The usual selection of fried food, cereals and fruit, yogurt. The toasters take ages and the bread often needs to be put through again.

The hotel is a 15 minute walk to the beach. The hotel is situated on a busy road which is surrounded by bars and fun pubs. Music could be heard coming from these surrounding pubs till at least 03.30am.

Generally the hotel staff were ok and friendly. There was one member of the pool side bar that had a bit of an attitude, I'm sure you will know who I am on about if you visit this hotel.

The entertainment was pretty rubbish. The day time entertainment consisted of the hotel entertainer pushing people into the pool or throwing buckets of water over you.

Water polo was played everyday. Evening entertainment was bad and went on until midnight. You have to reserve your sunbed by 9am or else you wont get one.
The life guard is strict about not allowing any inflatables into the pool.

I might visit this hotel again, in a few years time.

This hotel is beautiful but the food is dire, previous reports spoke of theme nights, steak, lots of choice. We never had any of this. Food is cold breakfast and dinner, hamburgers cooked on the grill were raw and frozen in the middle. Roast beef was on the grill on a board but given to you out of a dish at the side and it was like beef you buy off the deli the grill wasn't even on and the chef isnt cooking anything.

It is such a shame as the rooms are fantastic, modern and massive. We noticed lots of 18 to 30s arriving each day who were allocated on arrival.

I think the menus may have been changed since this hotel used to be a premier. Lots of people were ill from the hamburgers. The chefs need to go to learn to be chefs.

Everything else was spot on.

Would not return because of the food we have been to Beni loads in 3 star hotels and the food has been better than this was.

You tell them food is cold or not cooked enough and they don't seem to care. Don't get me wrong we are not fussy eaters at all but do expect food to be cooked properly and why bother pretending that you are doing a carvery.

This is a lovely hotel but badly let down by the food. If you get a high floor views fantastic.
