The Levante Club exceeded our expectations.

We originally booked for one week but after reading the reports on this website we decided to book for two. We are so glad we did.

The location of the hotel was excellent, as everyone says it's a 10 minute walk to beach and a pleasant walk to the clubs with all the entertainment you could wish for. There is definately something for everybody in Benidorm.

On arrival we were checked in and in our room within five minutes.

The food was fabulous, there was so much to choose from. I must admit I was anxious as we were there for two weeks and thought we would get bored, but believe me there is something different every night and something for everybody. Even if you eat pie and chips at home then you would still be catered for. The soups and salads were amazing. My husband ate salads for the first week and never got bored. I have never ate three course lunches before but I certainly did at this hotel because it was all so delicious. There were always hot plates to put your food on and the chefs were always out checking if anything need topping up or replacing.

Never really had much to do with the staff but the plates were always cleared away fast and there was always a clean table to sit at. The did work extremely hard.

The spa and gym is a must at this hotel. Even if you don't exercise you must give the Spa a go. You get to wear stupid rubber socks but it is well worth it. It is kept sparkling clean and it is so relaxing (especially after a good night on the town). The Scottish shower is a must.

The equipment in the gym is excellent and has every machine you can imagine and very easy to use. The staff are always on hand if you aren't sure. We loved it.

The room was large and the bathroom was lovely. The two showers came in handy. Lots of storage space. Maids came in every day and the place was left spotless.

We spent a lot of time Rachel's bar across the road, but at 1.60(euro) for two bottles of San Miguel you could understand why. The other bars were very reasonable and friendly. The rock n' roll bar is a place to go to finish off the night. We had such a laugh at the Hawain Elvis.

Anyway, as soon as we got back we looked into booking this hotel again. I really couldn't fault anything about it.

We booked our holiday at the Levante Club Hotel for the "dead week" in December (7th to 14th) and were blessed with mainly bright sunny weather.

Our flight were on time and tranfers efficient, and the check-in could not have been better. we stayed Full Board and at no time were we unhappy with the food or service, with a good inexpensive wine choice; having had disasters in Benidorm previously, (in particular at the Regente), this was a major plus!

The rooms were a pure delight, spacious, exceptionally clean, and in good decorative order. In particular the walk-in shower was superb.

The bars served good value drinks, although it was a pity that the 'pub' remained closed throughout our stay. Overall it was a very good experience, and one which we can recommend. If one requires a break the bars opposite the hotel are cheap and provide good entertainment.

This is the second visit to this hotel, third time to Benidorm - one of the other visits to Benidorm was to Gran Bali(! don't go there!)

Just about to book again for Summer 2006

The hotel is very clean, some of the rooms could maybe do with a bit of TLC as some of the wall paper / paintwork is looking tired/ripped but nevertheless nothing really to complain about. Still exceptionally clean! (If you want a fridge then I'd suggest one of the mini bar options approx 20euros - you get use of the mini-fridge for the duration plus you get a selection of soft drinks / beers so its better value then just hiring the fridge. Safe is approx 3euros per day hire)

Food was good to excellent - My parents did sometimes think that the food was just ok - but think they are more traditionalists, but to be honest there was always something good to eat - excellent salads / soups & pate usually good, good range of main meals and excellent desserts. The staff in the dining room were excellent with my little niece - always made a fuss - SUPERB!

The staff in the rest of the hotel ranged from sour faced to ok - we noticed that many of the same staff were there from the year before!

Location - a 10-15 minute walk to the beach - which I think is pleasent - its a straight forward walk and good to walk off the meals or good to try and sober up a bit after a night out!

Entertainment - during the day pretty dire - the games area on the basement was generally closed or most of the machines not working - some kids were on the 2 internet PC's (1 euro for 15 mins) for hours at a time - we went at the end of October and the weather surprised us all - 5 good sunny days at around 23c so why stay in doors???

Entertainment in the evening was mixed - usually started with a game of bingo! then the DJ asked for music requests then there was usually some live 'entertainment' around 10pm which ranged from dire to quite good.

Drinks / snacks were good and generally priced ok.

First Choice have recently removed this hotel from its 'Premier Choice' range but still a 4* (maybe due to its slight tiredness in rooms?)

After reading various reviews about this hotel I wasn't sure what to expect - but I needn't have worried.

Although we have had to wait 20 minutes for our room to be cleaned on arrival it was well worth waiting for! The rooms are modern and spacious, and the bathroom was ultra modern. Our room had a balcony which overlooked the pool area and had great views out over Benidorm.

We got clean towels every day, and in the week that we were there the bed linen was changed twice.

The restaurant was well set out and there was a good variation of food every day, so plenty of choice for everyone. Drinks were a little expensive, but then they usually are a little on the pricey side in hotels.

The only drawback with the hotel is the distance from the beach. It took around 15 minutes to walk to the beach or into the middle of the area where all the pub, bars and clubs were, but this at least meant that we could get a good nights sleep, and a taxi back at night cost around 4 euros. There is a bus stop directly outside the hotel where you can catch a bus to the beach or around town for 1 euro.

The pool area is clean and there are plenty of sun loungers. The life guard is on hand constantly and there is a little pool for toddlers.

I would definitely recommend this hotel, and would stop there again next time I visit Benidorm.

Levante Club Hotel is well worth it's 4 stars.

The hotel is located 900 metres from Levante beach and probably a good 15-20 minute walk into the the main town. This however did not put us off as the walk is pleasant and there are plenty of bars and restaurants to choose from along the way.

The staff at the hotel are very friendly and will go out of there way to do anything for you. The bedrooms are very roomy with 2 large twin beds, tv, telephone and mini bar. Mini bar costs

What a fantastic hotel!

I have stayed in a fair few 4* hotels in my time and this is by far the best.

The rooms a very spacious with a great bathroom with bath & seperate shower (power) air conditioning , tv, fridge and balcony over looking the pool.

The food was great even for a very fussy eater like me, I pigged out all week.

The hotel itself is very clean and the staff are extremely helpful.

I can't however comment on the entertainment as we never stayed in the hotel in the evening.

The hotel is situated a good 15-20 walk away from the town centre but its not a bad walk and a taxi only costs about

We stayed half board and being a picky eater found the food superb, yes the bacon at breakfast looks fatty but try it it`s lovely.

Free coffee teas or fruit juice for breakfast but evening meals drinks are brought to your table by a waiter and you pay when leaving the restaurant.

I just had an orange which was reasonably priced or you could go all out for champagne. There is a chef cooking in the restaurant on evenings and it varies what he cooks across the week, steak, sea bass, chicken etc but theres plenty else on the buffet.

There are 2 good pubs opposite The Beers Friends (70p for a pint of amstel) bot next door do meals and quiz nights etc really well run, there is limited entertainment but we never stopped in, all in all its fantastic hotel.

We found the Levante Club a first class hotel well deserving of its 4 stars. The hotel was only built 2 years ago and this is reflected in the up to date style of all areas. The bed rooms were large all with pool views and balconies, the bathroom was well set out with bath and seperate shower cubicle.

We ate at the hotel most days, the standard of the food was very good, (not like home but the food never is abroad)there was not a day when there was nothing we fancied to eat, even my very fussy son always ate something. Food was always plentiful and hot even on the day we arrived at breakfast 10 minutes before the end, there was still plenty of choice.

We found the staff helpful and pleasent, so long as you make the effort to talk to them! We tried to learn a few pleasentries in Spanish which we are sure helps, with so many English at the hotel and most staff speaking good English lots of people don't bother.

My two sons aged 18 and 20 spent most of their day in bed after heavy nights, the cleaner cleaned around them quietly! This became a bit of a joke between us and the staff.

The Hotel location may put some people off, the walk to Levante beach is a 20 minute strole, the old town aprox 50 minutes, the walk is pleasent enough with shops and bars along the way, its on an incline not hill as lots of the hotels are. We did not find the walk too bad and the location ment there were no problems with noise at night being away from the main town. The walking had the bonus that even though I ate and drank lots more than I would at home I only gained 1lb in a week! The hotel has a spar attatched where you can have verious treatments, sauna, massage, aroma therepy etc.we did not get around to going ourselves but other guests were praising it as an extra touch of luxury.

We did not partake of the entertainement other than on the first night prefering to go into town.

All in all I would recomend this hotel.

Visited the hotel in February 05 and found the hotel was of an excellent standard.

Preferred the location being a short walk from most activities, as on previous visits to Benidorm have been located in central positions, which can be over-bearing.

Hotel very clean and modernistic looking.

The food was generally of an excellent quality but sometimes a limited choice.

Found the staff very pleasant and helpful.

Four bars across the road which were excellent value for money, particularly the Beers Friend.

Would recommend the hotel to anyone thinking of visiting Benidorm and will return when we next visit Benidorm.

Went to Benidorm for New Years Eve again. First time to
Hotel Levante Club. Fantastic food, choice unlimited.

New years eve gala dinner as good as anywhere in the world, beautiful. Staff were friendly if you made the effort to say hola to them.

Entertainment was pretty crap, but hey there is plenty going on in Beni, including new rock/roll bar across the road, just opened. Ended up in Marianos most nights about 3am for a toasted bacon sandwich and glass of coffee.
