We all liked this hotel everything was excellent.

The food was absolutely amazing we left the hotel once.

The entertainment was brilliant and the pool was really hot sometimes.

We meet a couple and they said the same about the hotel the rooms were amazingly spacious.

This hotel is the best hotel that we ever stayed in I would go back because it was so amazingly.

Just returneed from a weeks stay here and I have to say this is a lovely hotel.Very clean ,the staff were helpful and polite ,there was plenty of choice at meal times.Have to say ,this was meant to be an adults only hotel, however, the last few days there seemed to be a number of children in the hotel this did not spoil our holiday though , but lets hope First Choice dont spoil it and flood it with young children,Would definately return to this hotel

My husband and I enjoyed a weeks holiday in April 2003
and although the weather could have been better we really enjoyed our stay here.

The hotel itself was really superb and matched any 4 star in England (if not better.)

People with walking difficulties may have a problem with this hotel as it is slightly out of town but this suited us as there was no noise whatsoever.

I am pretty adventurous food wise and looked forward to the fish dishes every evening which were very good.

I would definitely stay at this hotel again and again.

Previously having stayed in this excellent establishment in March 2003 rarely do we return to a hotel that grabbed our attention first time around. The Hotel Levante Club is as good as ever, one year down the line.

Waiting staff were a little dour but this was not a put-off. Food was excellent and had excelled what we had eaten on our previous visit, the drink prices in the dining room were same price as year before, where can you say the same in the UK? The only real downside is the distance from the main parts of the resort of Benidorm however it is in a quiet location and keeps you fit.

It is a little too British along at the Levante/Rincon area but if this hotel were located at the more cosmopolitan far end (La Cala) of the Poniente Beach I would return time and time again.

Do yourself a favour and give this hotel a spin.

This was a very nice modern hotel, although the reception is very small and stark the bedrooms are particularly impressive, large with nice fresh decor and reasonably well maintained fixtures.

The balconies are the biggest I have seen particularly if you get a corner room as they go across the front and round the side of the building.

All rooms face the pool, no rooms overlooking the rear so you know that you are going to be in one of the ones in the picture in your brochure.

Obviously if you don't like heights then its a bit of a problem, we are the opposite and on arrival had been allocated a room on the 3rd floor, we just asked and they put us on the 18th what a view.

There is a taxi rank right outside the hotel so getting about is not a problem, it is quite a long walk to the center and not worth it in the evening, getting to the old town on foot would take ages ... Benidorm Palace, the biggest nightclub around is just up the road and is worth going but just walk there and pay for your ticket on the door, you wont need to have the meal as the food in the hotel is excellent.

The chinese restaurants that you pass on your way to the town serve the most unbelievably cheap food .....you really wont believe the price.

Overall its a great hotel and I don't think you will be disappointed with any aspect however if I was going to be picky I think the public rooms are a bit bare (furniture is maybe too modern for me) and the pool too small compared to the Melia which is the four star next door.

Just posting this as an update to my earlier review from July 2002.

Cleanliness: The hotel is very clean throughout. However, I noticed that the glass doors to the balcony were only cleaned as far up as the cleaner could reach do the top third was rather dusty.

Food: The food in general was of a higher standard than on my previous visit and it wasn't that bad then! Only low point really was the breakfast food but even that was OK - not that I saw too many of them!

Location: A fair way from the main action of the new town but at least that means it's quieter. Since 2002 though, the block of empty shops across from thehotel now has another bar (Rebecca's) as well as Beers and Friends and there is also a dedicated C + W/line dancing venue.
My only reservation is that there is a rehabilitation centre for paroled convicts and the mentally disturbed being built close by.(I'm assuming my translation from the Spanish on the sign is correct.)

Hotel Staff: On the whole, efficient rather than friendly. The girl in the downstairs bar (can't remember her name but she was Spanish but had an English name) was really pleasant and friendly. She was also really patient - there was an ignorant loud-mouthed Irish guy there who was really rude to her and she didn't bat an eyelid.
There was one friendly girl in the dining room (Marisa or something like that) who was also very good - always smiling and able to remember everyone's drink order.
The entertainments manager was a very friendly guy as well - always time for a chat with everyone.

Entertainment: There was a guy playing piano in the lobby bar nightly who was OK if you just wanted some gentle background music.
Of the main entertainment I only saw Los Gauchos who do a hybrid dancing-juggling-knife throwing-drumming act. They are on in a few hotels and are worth watching. There was also the sequence and old-time dancing for which a lot of the OAP's go to Benidorm during the winter.

Would I visit this hotel again? Too right!

Some other points:
The hotel is now fully signposted internally (it hadn't been open very long at the time of my first visit and some small things were left to be done).

There is now a children's play area - I think this is a left-over from when Airtours used to use this hotel as First Choice only take bookings for adults here.

The cafe downstairs which used to serve snacks is now a bar with karaoke etc at night. Free tea could be obtained here at 4pm daily - don't know whether this is on all the time or just during the winter.

The bar prices were the same as in 2002. The lobby bar and the bar in the entertainment lounge charge E1.50 for a half of lager and E2.40 for a pint. The downstairs bar had San Miguel for E1.10 a pint.

The safes in the rooms now have to be hired rather than being free as previously.

That wacky steel fountain at the side of the hotel has been removed (booo!).

Non-residents can now pay to have a meal there. I think the evening meal was E11.

After staying 2 nights in the Levante Club Hotel I was robbed by one of the staff. I went to the rep and asked for a hotel change and she would not comply with it which made me angry. I have since found out that I have a brain tumour which might have been caused by this holiday.

I will not be using this hotel or using first choice again.

Modern hotel with excellent facilities - it therefore suffers on the location front. For those people who like to be inthe centre of things - then this hotel will not be for you. On average you are at least 15-20 mins from most attractions and at least 30 mins walk from Old Town.

Quite close to water park and Mundomar and there is a taxi rank outside. Three pubs in shopping block across the road - Sky sports etc. Supermarket 2 mins away.

Food was good and worthy of 4 star rating. Staff pleasant and helpful. Rooms cleaned everyday. I note that the hotel may well be adults only now. This may be a good thing - we took our 3 year old son and had to remove the furniture from the 17th floor balcony so that he could not climb over it!

Would go again.

Excellent hotel, first class service all round.

A fair walk from the centre of the resort but everything within easy reach. The food is wonderful, rooms spacious and extremely comfortable. We stayed over the New Year and the hotel (incidentally its first Christmas and New Year) held a gala meal. Food was excellent, albeit a long time in between courses, but a very good way to get to know your fellow holidaymakers.

The spa (Luxor) is within the grounds but there is a fee to pay to use this. Lovely swimming pool and children's area. A bonus (I think) in this hotel is a "quiet area"; this is above the reception area and is laid out with comfortable chairs and tables, brilliant if you fancy a relaxing read or chat. As well as excellently laid out food, there is a grill /griddle area and either fish or meat of the day will be cooked here for you to your specification.

I can honestly say I would go back there again, and if all is well with us next year, I may very well do so! We met some very nice people who like us just wanted to get away for the New Year, and also like us, could not fault the place. Well recommended and well worth its 4 star rating.
