We are just back from our second visit this year to the same hotel. On our first visit the room was very small, however on the second it was a larger room with a good view.
Overall it is a good hotel - the rooms are getting a little tired looking but they were nice and clean. The food was ideal.Our only complaint would be the lifts, they are a bit like a No 1 bus you wait ages for them and then two come along at once.

I stayed in the Dalmatas Hotel as part of a Hen Party group. It was excellent for cleanliness and the rooms were big and had good views.
The staff were friendly and spoke good english and the food was excellent.
The hotel is in an excellent location only 2 mins walk from the beach and far enough away from the 'square'(10 mins walk) to be quiet at night too.
It is a good half an hour walk from the old town but taxis are reasonable.
I would definately go back again super value for money.

Hotel Los Dalmatas, Benidorm
Our 4th visit to this hotel. Staff are so friendly and have no problem with English, indeed, as previous report states, Roberto Lorenzo in the restaurant speaks it like a native and has a great personality. The food was excellent, as always, something to suit any taste. Bedrooms and all areas are kept very clean. Pool and area around is always kept immaculate. One down point is that the sun beds are getting a little aged and uncomfortable, and the old battle of towels on them from dawn continues.
A most enjoyable holiday.

Just got back from saying in the los dalmatas. Excellent hotel with a great selection of food for everyone. The hotel staff were very helpful and always friendly. The hotel is positioned right next to the beach in perfect location. However, its about a 10min walk into the main square where the main bars and clubs are but we found it fine to walk. Didnt really stay in to watch the entertainment so cant really comment on it. However, there was a happy hour every night!! definately go back to the hotel!

We stayed at this hotel on a full board basis during last summer and had a very good time.
The food was excellent (although we only stayed for one week) and the staff were really helpful and polite.
There were some other English people staying whose children kept breaking things and throwing them at other guests of the hotel which was really embarrassing but other than that we couldn't really fault it.
The location is great (just along from Burger King if you know where that is located) and is really convenient for the beach.
The entertainment is pretty ropey but there are plenty of other things to do in Benidorm - not all pubs and nightclubs as well - so a good time was had by all.
I wasn't expecting much and was pleasantly surprised.

Meals good choice for everyone.
Rooms cleaned daily.
Lavante beach nearly on doorstep, brill, no carrying heavy beach bags.
Very polite staff, entertainment not too bad stayed in hotel twice.
Go back next May

This is the nicest hotel we have stayed in in Benidorm.We requested a room on a low floor and this was given.
The staff were very very friendly which is unusal compared to other hotels we have staayed in.
The food is excellant and half board would have been more than enough.The dining room is nicely laid out,divided into 2 areas and never felt crowded.The dining room manager Roberto speaks perfect english(with your accent)The lounge areas are comfortable but as an asthma sufferer it could have done with a no smoking area.
The pool area is large with loads of sunbeds and is not overlooked by other buildings,so stays in sunshine all day.Rooms are and unusual shape with a large bathroom with 2 handbasins.
The plumbing system is very noisy and you can hear adjoining bathrooms!The hotel is situated just off the seafront and is only minutes from shops bars etc.When we were there (March)there was a mix of nationalities,Spanish,Belgiums,English,and everyone was friendly.All in all this is a very nice hotel with lots of repeat visitors and I would certainly stay here again.

Food was good, buffet style with a huge selection although hot dishes lackexd in variety but that was my only gripe! Champagne available for breakfast at no extra charge! what more can you ask for! Dining area large with room to expand for peak season.
Cleanliness was at a good standard rooms cleaned every day!
The location is good 2 min walk from beach and bars even opposite hotel brilliant! The main night-life is only 10 mins away and there is no need for a taxi. I managed to walk there do some shopping and come back in 30mins during the day!
Staff are really freindly speak good english! The restaurant manager as mentioned in the last review is a right laugh!
