The beach was sythetic sand but quite nice and sea was quite warm. The town was quiet in the night but not in the days. The days were hot in Callela and there were loads of good shops in the town.

Shops 60% closed at the begining of march,and due to the exchange rate very expensive,1€ = 1£ €4 a pint this of course is £4 a pint,and this was in a small football bar,rip of time for the brits.Unless you are half board or AI its expensive time for the brits.

To be fair it was January so most of the pubs etc were not open. Resort itself very nice.

resort to be honest did not match my expectations..alot of rubbish laying around..but that did not bother me as much as the dog mess..it was everywhere..but being a mean buggy pusher i steered around it..and only once in a lapse of concentration(rushing out to buy a kettle)i steered through a pile of fresh muck and so hadda wash it before entering room..beach good apart from the forementioned..resort entertainment..cant really comment on that as went in december and alot closed for the winter..in fact abit of a ghost town..and was informed there are alot of pick pockers in the area as heard many a distressed victim in reception...one couple had their hire car towed away as did not realise it was a pay and display zone(yes you gotta pay to park)..and no..would not return..

on a scale of 10 i would give the resort 6 however it may well be a lot better in the season

Lots of shops and english pubs.Very good resort.

Very long beach which looked clean. Accessed by underpasses under the railway line. Adequate supply of souvenir shops, bars etcetera dotted all over the area.

the resort was clean and cheerful.there was hardly anywhere open but for the places we did find open it was ok. we couldnot find any bars open although the day before we were due to return home i think it must have been a spanish holiday because every bar seamed to open.it wasnot warm enough to sunbathe on the beach but it is close to the hotel and it looked realy nice and clean. i would visit here again for a nice cheap friendly holiday .we all enjoyed ourselves and had a great time. we had no complaints about anything .thanx to sun4u.

Resort clean and freindly with plenty of shops and central for getting around
