The swimming pool is the smallest I ever saw but on the plus side you can get a sunbed any time of day.Its only a 5 min walk to a lovely beach and the bars/restaurants etc are right on your doorstep.The food in the hotel is pretty basic - pizzas,burgers and that sort of thing but all nice,hot and tasty.There was entertainment most nights seemed good fun but there was so many family bars with shows near by that we went out. The only bad part was the noise from the street below which went on all night, generally drunk people walking by shouting. We really got very little sleep. In the day time the busses and horns beeping were nearly as bad even with the door and window closed. And we were on the 4th floor!!

It was an awful place. The staff were rude and un helpfull. Our apartment was facing the road and no one got any sleep we had to buy ear plugs bu it didnt help and the noise was 24hr. It wasnt apartments for familys!! There was lots of fighting and the police were called a number of times.

There seem to be a lot of bad reviews about this aparthotel, and the main reason, from me reading through this, is that the people leaving the reviews never bothered to research the hotel properly before booking it. It would not be difficult to find out that it is located centrally and obviously there will be noise and it is not a great hotel if you are taking kids. All this is easily found out. I persoanlly had a great time at Salou Suite and have no complaints at all and will definitely be using this hotel should I return to Salou.
Also, a lot of the reviews above should be disregarded as it appears to be the same person postinge negative reviews under different names (notice the many references to people coming in 'roaring and screaming') Not too clever huh!

i like these apartments nothing at all wrong with them dont know what them other people are talking about there is security the only problem is the noise from the front but thats to be expected being in the centre of everythingv and music in morning wakes you up which is a balls

Hotel ideally situated, staff quite friendly, greatest problem is that there is not any security at night, young people came in from the clubs at 4 am, they screamed and roared with plenty of bad language included, put on music as high as they could, this would last until about 8 am.
They brought their friends back to the apartment, which was next door to us, so instead of having two people in the apartment there were eight some nights, many complaints were made but nothing was done, we did not get any sleep for the week.
There were phones in the apartments but none of them were connected, probably in case one would complain at 4 or 5 am in the morning.

We had no complaints about cleanliness, but we had a major problem with noise inside the hotel between 4am and 8am. People came in from the clubs at 4am and made everyone else

I travelled to this hotel with my wife in August.
What a nightmare. The noise at night was unbelievable, not outside but when the clubbers returned at 4 or 5 in the morning, one would be woken up by them the minute that they got out of the lift,the language was unreal,but we had to listen to it night after night as well as the loud music that was played when they arrived.
We did complain, but it was a waste of time, nobody cared, needless to say we will never go back

If you are going to Salou, please keep far away from this aparthotel. It was a nightmare for a week, no security at all. We tried to get a little sleep before the clubbers arrived in between 4 and 5 in the morning as they partied until about 8am. The roaring and screaming was unbelieveable. The language was unreal and should not have to be tolerated by normal people,despite having made complaints, security did not intervene and couldn't care less. We were happy that we were still sane after that dreadful week

Never again to Salou Suites, nothing to do with the staff, as they couldn't be more helpful, security is a big problem as there is none.
Why are people allowed into any building at 4am in the morning roaring and screaming and continue until 7 or 8 in the morning? No objection to anybody enjoying themselves on holidays, but HUMAN behavior would be expected, this was not the case. Having made many complaints, it was a waste of time, so don't go there

This was the hotel from hell! The pool was filthy dirty, at one stage there was a mattress floating in it and broken glass.
The noise was deafening from the local clubs and bars.
This hotel was recommended as a family hotel, but it was far from family friendly.
Needless to say, we will not be returning there ever again.
