First of all the welcome was not to what I expected, yes cleaners come in every day but late.
Needs to improve for better breakfast, I did not enjoy what i was only served with,bread,butter,jam,tea, I expected eggs and toast.
Location was good, everything at walking distance.
Staffs were all ok; they need to come up with a happy smile every time they see you. Manager seemed to be very serious most of the time, could not sleep at night, as music still on after midnight, no such entertainment been held here.
I don't mind going back to this hotel, only if they improve, other then that I have no comments. Mind you we did enjoy a lot in Bodrum, people are very kind and generous, I made a lot of friends.

Hotel is really lovely... really good service and frendly staff.. Location is almost perfect for a tourist... you can really have good time with your family... but breakfast is not so good as other services... but its worth to stay for that little money.. ''CHEAP'' and ''GOOD''

Very basic, stayed in more luxurious youth hostels, however the staff were pleasant and welcoming.
Clean enough rooms but towels and bedlinen were threadbare, towels got greyer and more ragged as week went on but at least changed everyday.
I felt a little cheated by goldtrail as I was charged heavily for holiday as alone. (supplements). For same money I could have got somewhere really lovely on beach as prices low as out of season.
I think that if you went on cheap deal you would justify that you get what you pay for.
For same money I have stayed 4 star elsewhere.

Was really worried about going to this hotel after reading all the reviews, and being a single parent with two children one who has disabilities made the anxiety a lot worse. In the two weeks I stayed at the Ugur hotel, we had a brilliant time and the staff were so helpful and very supporting when it came to my son with disabilities.
A lot of people need to remember Turkey is very basic and breakfast is standard, and the rooms are very standard Turkey is a place that you either love it or hate it. It's what you make of it.
The rooms were cleaned every day and clean towels every day.
We had some great laughs at the bar at night and with it being a small hotel it was like mixing with family.
Entertainment make your own and have a good laugh. Everywhere in any hot country you go to with food will attract ants but if you have kids like mine they will sit and give them names and make new friends....poor ants are more frightened of us than we are of them.
If you are going pop into the Peking restaurant and ask for Falcon and tell him Christine and the kids are asking for him and try their chicken fajitas best in Turkey. You will make his day. Thanks to everyone we met and for lots of happy memories.

Well were do I start If you have ever wanted to stay at FAULTY TOWERS, this is the hotel, it made our holiday, I could not stay there again once is enough, but what a laugh.

Went in September. The only problem I had was, trying to tell taxi drivers the name of the hotel. Once I realised It was pronounced ooh err, I was happy. The hotel was very nice, basic but very nice. Maria was very nice as were the rest of the staff. Umer the night porter was a real gem. Size cok seviyorum.
The cleaners left flower petals on our bed and our fresh towels were folded into fans. Maybe thats because we were nice to them! Bar prices a bit more than local bars but still much cheaper than back home. Food very enjoyable.
Pool cleaned every day and we were well looked after.
If you want 5 star accommodation for a 1 star price. Then you will be disappointed. However, if you want an enjoyable holiday in pleasant surroundings, then look no further than the Oooh err.

The hotel was appalling wouldnt even give it a one star rating the room was full of damp shower curtain was full of mould and every time you had a shower there was no hot water and it leaked all over so the bathroom was flooded. The lightswitch was hanging off and the fuse box had no cover on it we had a storm one night and could have been a health hazard, there were holes in the net curtains and staff were arguing most of the time.
Never again, we only got a hand towel, and no bath towel or sheet wouldn't recommend it to anyone.

Got dropped off at hotel at about 4.30am Got shown the room and immediately asked for a change. Quite honestly the cats back home at the cattery had a bigger cleaner room than this(Room no 18).
No way were we going to spend 2 weeks in this squalor. Two half size single beds a couple of port holes to look out of sand paper manky towels and a stinking exuse for bathroom. In the short time it took for a young lad to show us the room the manager had disapeared from reception,well I say reception more of a desk at the entrance to the pool area.Luckily having read reviews before we came we headed to the bar and sure enough there he was.Unfortunately he did not speak English so it was back to the young lad who told us no other rooms were available.
Without unpacking got a couple of hours kip then headed into Gumbet to sort out some decent accommodation.
At the end of the day for a holiday booked 8 months in advance it was very cheap at only

I stayed at the Ugur hotel with my boyfriend and parents.
The rooms were very basic and the breakfast was continetal but although we had read the bad reports it didnt seem to bad. the people there on holiday made the best of it and the staff was really friendly.
The towels was clean every other day and the room was swept and mopped every day so carnt complain.
Overall it was a brilliant holiday and everyone on site enjoyed there selfs the only problem we had was my mother is disabled and this accomindation is not sutible for disabled people which I thought Goldtrail would have mentioned before booking up.

A very budget hotel,small but friendly,offering a traditional turkish breakfast 3 half slices of tomato,2 slices of cucumber and 10 year old olives!!!bread & jam.
Bar open all hours!! but twice as dear as any others.
no escaping noise of traffic or other rowdy tourists.
car crashes a daily occurance,one car landing 3ft from bedroom window!!!
Dave the barman & Maria "mrs do it all" are lovely but the alcoholic owner is scarry.
Last went to Turkey 8 years ago vowed never to return,but like childbirth the memory fades thought we'd try again!Just as painful this time, we will not be returning to Turkey.
