as we walked in to this hotel it was clean straight away it looked quiet nice our rooms we clean and we had satleight tv but only about 3 chanels were english which is fair enough because your not on holiday to watch tv but the veiw was amazing. the food was basic turkish food and had salad for every meal including breakfast now i love salad but having it 3 times aday 24/7 will drive you crazy there was ahrdley any meet hardley any pork which is fair enough and it is a muslim countrey. the hotel is not disabled friendley so if you are in a weel-chair then i wouldnt recomed this hotel as we met a disabled man and he found it very hard. the pool was lovley and it is very big. the staff were realy nice apart from this one barman he was very flirty tried it on with everyone, tired it on with wifes in front of thier husbands, he tired it on with me and i found it disgusting as im only 14, he tired it on with 62 yr old and wouldnt leave her along and she was in her room ill hiding from him and he kept on ringing her room syaing you come down now or i'll come up i found this very sick he also tired it on with a mum and told her to put her kids away so she can go in to his room but when u say no to him he goes off in to a vile mood he chucked chairs at this mum and made lots of people cry he tired knicking fags off this 22 yr old girl. anyway the hotel is on a hill and it takes a long time to come down and when you go back up your breathless i think this hotel was alright for the amount of money we paied but i woudnt want to go back. the bar man and the men in turkey were off puting as this was our 1st time in turkey but i would go back again just not at this hotel.

We did a week at Golden day as a cheap honeymoon as we were pretty broke after our wedding. Overall it was okay although I'm not sure if I would recommend it to friends unless they were also on a tight budget.
Hotel was clean and staff were really helpful. The biggest let down was the food. We felt compelled to eat out every night after we had tried the restaurant as it was very poor.
Pool and bar was okay. 2.5 out of 5

the hotel was less than 3 star as is the resort.the room was clean and did have nice view of the harbour and i enjoyed the pool and the student staff tried their best,But the food was awful, the one night of entertainment started at 10.50pm. the dining room was hot, worn and uncomfortable and the hotel cleaning was minimal.inedible leftovers at lunch appeared again for dinner disguised with sauce, including cold chips in passata.often there was nothing that the children could eat apart from spaghetti with a sparse meat topping.the wine and orange juice had to be watered down to drink, the only bar that opened offered local lager, vodka, whisky, cola, sprite, coffee and water. spirits were limited to 3 bottles per day so would run out by afternoon.just as well that the sun shone!

Although we arrived at the start of the season, the weather was excellent. The hotel unfortunately did not appear to be ready for guests, although this improved overall after a word with the manager.

The food however was a different matter, there were very few english at ths hotel and we were not catered for at all, yes you could find something to eat, provided you liked boiled eggs for breakfast and salad for every other meal, every day.

We thought this was an extremely cheap holiday and our expectations were luckily not that high, but if you add over

We just got back from Golden Day two weeks ago and I just had to write this to let people thinking of staying here what a nice hotel Golden Day is, how lovely Kusadasi is and how nice Turkish people are.

Don't be put of by bad reports we had a fantastic holiday which was 'cheap as chips!'

The pool was huge, really clean and not at all crowded.

The food did get a bit repetitive but always good quality! though you can easily eat out for less than a tenner, infact it was amazing how far our money went!

The rooms are huge though only got clean towels every other day, which I thought a bit stingy!

If you go to Kusadasi you must go to National park, the beaches took my breath away. We really had a brilliant time.

My partner and myself returned today 3/7/05 from a 14 night stay in this hotel. First of all I would like to state that the food rating of 3 was my partners suggestion - but she is a faddy eater and after all this is a Turkish hotel. I had no problem with the food at all and the Fish Soup is superb (no pun intended)

For a 3 star hotel, this is as good as it gets - it's clean, brilliant pool, nice and friendly helpful staff especially Serge and Fartih in the pool bar - Suu the Animation guy - only a 3.5 rating at this stage but improving all the time, a really nice person and still setting things up.

Mustafa the assistant manager who handled a big bunch of English idiots in a fair manner. This hotel got a big slating last year, but we had a fab time there and the only small problem for some would be the rather exhausting hill upto the hotel. But with the Dolmush's going right to the door every few minutes - it isn't a problem at all really.

If you are thinking of going, it might help to know that all the corridors and rooms have been totally carpeted throughout this season. Drinks in the All Inclusive go on till very late. We had a top floor room and the sunsets were stunning.

Having booked a last minute all inclusive cheap deal through teletext, and reading a few below average reviews for this hotel, I was nervous that my friend and I would end up on "Holidays From Hell"!

We arrived to discover that in fact the hotel was very clean, the rooms spacious, the pool large and the staff friendly. Each room has a balcony with an amazing marina and sea view, is spacious and has air conditioning and a fridge (very handy for keeping that after sun cold when you've caught too much sun!). The hotel wasn't full so no fights for sunbeds and the all inclusive drinks were readily availably until at least 1am.

There is one down side - the food was repetitive and typically Turkish with a very small selection of hot food and daytime snacks. Certainly not ideal for small children who might not appreciate salad and cheese for breakfast, lunch and dinner! It was edible however and my friend and I decided to eat out on two occasions simply because we wanted a wider choice of food and because it was ridiculously cheap.

Our rep Okan was fantastic - his English was amazing and he was always making sure that everything was ok and that we were having a good holiday. He showed us some of the local sights and took us to the water park "Adaland" which I highly recommend for adults and children!

We met a fantastic group of people whilst we were there and I have to admit were very sorry to leave. All in all I had an amazing holiday and certainly when you choose to go abroad to sample a different life and culture you have to be open minded about the kind of food on offer. It wasn't brilliant but it didn't ruin our holiday and for the price we paid - it was worth every penny. I would definitely go back there again.
