Almost perfect in every way.
Visited this establishment with my son when it was called Surmeli and not a lot has altered thankfully.
Did miss the daily barbecues at lunchtime and in the evening as well as the tent for Hubba bubba pipes and Turkish coffee.
The long stretch of beach remains sensational, with staff constantly clearing the washed up woodchips.
The gardens are beautifully kept with the staff loving their job.
All the staff at the hotel are incredibly good - friendly, efficient and professional. Too many excellent ones to list in case I forget to praise one of them. That really makes a huge difference having such welcoming staff throughout our stay in each and every area.
Modern and well equipped room offered a wondrous view, sea view with large balcony. Bed not the most comfortable though! Always cleaned beautifully.
Drinks were delightful, although did miss my favourite tipples of Campari and Vermouth, with Malibu, Bailey's and top quality range of whisky.
Turkish coffee and fresh coffee served at the patisserie along with a plethora of delicious cakes. Food was a little hit and miss at lunch and in the evening, although not even the fussiest person could starve. The biggest problem was that the meals became repetitive. So many different goats cheeses to choose from, plenty of salads and an amazing array of puddings. Snacks during the day were very good, lots of freshly prepared food to suit all palates.
A good find was the Sunset Bar, with was never busy, and well manned.
The lobby bar was 24 hours and provided an exceptional set of attentive and helpful staff who loved their jobs. Furniture in the lobby bar was beautifully sumptuous, as was the lobby itself.
Loved my stay and thoroughly recommend the hotel although the entertainment team were hopeless and rarely seen except at two meal times when they paraded around yelling "showtime" as though the guests were infants.
Strongly considering a return next year as believe the luxury ambience and overall experience is well worth regular returns to this well-run hotel.

Travel operator: Sunshine.co.uk
Hotel tip: Seaview worth the upgrade - best to email them on advance. Family rooms are best further back from the beach as noisy animation area plays loud music at times.
