Arrived here at 4am on 30th Sept, we were greeted by Ali who sat us down and provided us with a drink. It was 5am before we got to bed, Ali having carried both our cases to our room.
The location of these Apartments is not suitable for families as it lays at the back of Icmeler, in the shadow of the mountains. There are Dolmus running at regular intervals and there is always a taxi touting for business, this adds an extra financial burden to those on a budget. The other downside for families is that the area around the Swimming Pool is not big enough for children/kids to play without causing hindrance to sunbathers. There is a major problem with wasps, with not enough traps being provided.
Met Adnan the owner a couple of times, a very pleasant man to talk to. There were 4 young men working here, 2 of which were of school age. These 2 had no respect for guests and constantly played pranks/jokes, in addition to playing Crazy Frog on the Music System on a regular basis. When you go on holiday, you expect to be able to relax and not be on your guard all the time. In the main, we did enjoy our stay here. It COULD, with the right Staff, be a great place for couples to stay.
On the subject of food, though we were Self Catering, we did partake of some breakfast type meals and didn't have cause for complaint. Apple Pie the Chef(yes, that was his name !!) did not disappoint us at all. In our 2nd week we were introduced to the Stonehouse Cafe which is nearby and took a few Brunches there.
The rooms being of a large bedroom and an equally large living-cum-dining-cum-2nd bedroom. The cleaner providing an excellent service with clean towels EVERY day. As with most Hotels in Icmeler, it does have its own website whereby people can Book on line with transport being provided to and from the Airport.

We visited Petunya in August for two weeks when we arrived our first impressions were good.
It looked lovely Adnan came to greet us within seconds of getting off the bus, and he gave us drinks while filling some forms. We later had our bags carried to our room and it was very nice spacious and a big balcony the staff were very friendly to everyone but we didnt find the food too good especially the english brekfast there were very little bacon and beans and overall the cooking was not too good.
The pool was on the small side but it was ok however in the deep end the pool was not too clean it had a layer of dirt I dont think I saw them cleaning it once. Other than that I think it was very nice and we may go back next year.

We arrived at Club Petunya on 22nd August 2005, we got there at about 4am, we were greeted by Ali. We had a complimentary drink and we were shown our rooms.
We had a beautiful room on the top floor with amazing views. First impressions were exactly what we had hoped for, very clean and tidy.
The staff were very nice, kind and helpful and really do love kids.
We also celebrated our anniversary and 2 birthdays. To our amazement we were given birthday cakes and entertainment at no extra cost.
We will definitely be returning..
All staff including cleaners were very friendly and helpful.
I would rate this hotel as a **********
Thanks Liz and family

When we arrived at The Club Petunya, first impressions were the outside scenery and look of the Apartments looked very nice. We were greeted by a Waiter(who had one alchol too many) who took us to our room, but when we got to our room the key would not open the door, after 20 minutes of trying (bare in mind it was 3am) he had to wake up a cleaner to let us in with the master key. In the morning when leaving the room our key would not lock the door, we told the staff and were told they were waiting for the Manager to sort it out. This took 6 hours and the actual problem was that the key fob had the wrong key on. (not a good start to our Hols).
The rooms were very clean, well equipped and spacious.
The views from the rooms were magnificent.
The pool was on the small side but was nice enough, plenty beds.
Would not recommend the food, portions were small and not good.
There was one night of entertainment in the 7 days we were there. I would recommend this hotel if you are after a quiet break but not so good for families.

Club petuya is a great place to stay, with its rooms that are cleaned daily to a high standard. Adnan the owner who can not do enough for you. Even offering to take you places in his own car.
We had a member in our party who was deaf and they could not do enough for her, and this was her first time away and to icmeler. we are all going back for two weeks in may 05.
This is an ideal place to stay if you want peace and quite to stay in, yet close to the more hectic life in icmeler itself and marmaris, with both bus stops and taxis stopping right outside.

First time we have ever gone DIY - (went with TV Travel Shop last year to Marmaris) and was eased through the whole process very gently by the ever helpful Rami and everyone at 'IcmelerOnline' - who needs tour operators when this way is so easy and much cheaper!
It was such a relief to see the smiling Eddie, our driver, waiting outside the terminal at Dalaman holding a card with our name on it. We were taken direct to our apartments without having to face all those drop-offs we endured last year - we were the last to be dropped off and it took us about four and a half hours to eventualy get to our apartments (Portobello).
When we arrived at Club Petunya we were greeted by the owner, Adnan, who immediatley offered us all a drink on the house. Needless to say I opted for a large draught Efes! Adnan remained friendly and very helpful throughout our stay (first two weeks this Sept) but, as already mentioned by other reviewers, was hated by his staff! - (This did not appear to effect the staff's attitude to the guests as we, subsequently, had a right good laugh).
Anyway, we were then shown to our room, which was spacious and more then adequate for our family of four. It was clean with exceptional views of the surrounding 'pine clad mountains'
The pool was clean and well maintained. Although some might consider it small it did us well for a cool off and splash about. We never had to fight over the sunbeds as there were always enough to go round - even when the place was fully booked!
Food at the 'Petunya' was very good. The Lamb Guvec (casserole) was excellent as was the Adana Kebab. The prices were very competitive compared to Icmeler town. Even cheaper was the 'Stonehouse' restaurant (just opposite the Club Aquarium) with a rather extensive menu and excellent quality.
