the holiday was so good i am goin to have to go agian it so really amazing and i loved all the peopole are so friendly and the shoppin is realli good x

Well What can I say about this hotel apart from this will be our fourth time in late June and if I had my way it won't be the last.
The staff are very friendly and all speak good english
the rooms are small but hey who goes on and stays in there room for two weeks...
Food is ok
I can't wait counting the days see you there

we stayed at the grand aquarium,icemeler,the hotel is situated close to the mountains and is about a 15minute walk in to the town.when we arrived at the hotel it looked even better than in the brochure,the rooms were a good size and were very clean,there was a good size pool,bubble pooland water slide. the hotel has a resteraunt which we ate at many times and thought the food was excellent.there was games for the kids during the day and good entertainment at night. thestaff at the hotel were wonderfull and were good with the kids nothing was too much trouble,they always tried to include everyone,they were always very cheery. i would without a doubt go back to the grand aquarium again and will be recomending it to all my family and friends

myself & the wife & our eldest grandaughter had a wounderfull time when we stayed at the grand.
the staff are fantastic leeanne-nemo-alper-(jake & osmand who sad to say have left )
will miss them when we go back this september 2004
its sutch a brilliant place for all the family at any age...............

in the hotel the staff were great and did everything they could to help and include everyone. the hotel was very clean and the loungers and pool was thoroughly cleaned and tidied at night. the location was great surrounded by lovely tree covered mountains. the food was good especially the chicken supreme. again the staff were great especially jack , alpher and memo.
we liked it so much that we are going back this year.

This hotel is brilliant you can't fault it, it is by far the best hotel i've been to and I think it deserves to be a 5 star its in a queit peaceful area and easy accsess to the city centre just jump on the dolmus.

I stayed in the Grand Aquarium apartments as part of a family hotel. Icmeler in Turkey is a beautiful resort, relaxing and theres plenty to do. The apartments were very clean and had a friendly atmosphere. The staff were polite and made you feel welcome.
The rooms were great size and had everything you need. Although it was self-catering I spent a lot of time at the hotel and got to know everyone staying there.
I would definatetly go back and I recommend it to anyone thinking of going.

I stayed in Grand Aquarium a few years back and never had such a good holiday as that one.To describe it in one word AMAZING!I went with my family and my cousins auntie and uncle and neva went through a day without a smile on my face.The apartments we excellent and looked so nice, especially at night time when it was all lit up. The rooms you couldnt fault, air conditioning was well appreciated as it was 56 degrees when i was there. Club and pool dance were the highlight. Kiss kiss song brill. Channel, Aircon and Gem were the entertainers and were really funny. The staff were really friendly Celal, Atilla, Ilker, Yener etc became more our friends than waiters. I have been to Turkey three times, and am about to go for the fourth. The best holiday ever!!!

I travelled with my boyfriend here in June 2007, he had been here twice b4 and really enjoyed it. However this time around, he seen a big difference in the apartments and Icmeler in general.
When we finally got to our room after a 2 and a half hour bus trip, we were greeted with 2 single beds, a little surprise considering we had booked a double. When we called reception we were told they do not do double beds, which I thought was a little strange but we just pushed the 2 beds together.
The rooms were not cleaned everyday, our towels were not changed for 2 days and one day i witnessed the bucket of water they used to clean the floors and it was disgusting, no wonder my feet were literally black when I was just walking about the room.
The food here is really good, I had no complaints about that. The staff and entertainment are really good and i recommend having a Turkish bath here, they are spotlessly clean and the massage is wonderful. The location of the hotel is, well, it couldn't be further away from the beach and town.
Taxis sit outside all day but I found then rather expensive, especially when you have to get a few up and down a day.
The dolmus is fine and really cheap. The would not recommend these apartments to anyone who doesn't like walking, especially 30 minutes in the blazing sun to get to the town centre.
