We have been to the Grand Aquarium in 2003, 2004 and 2005. They were the best holidays ever. The maids cleaned your rooms every day and make nice little designs on your beds with petals. We never eat much in the hotel but what we did have was nice. The location was good and it was cheap to get taxis. The staff were all very friendly and did anything they could to help.
The entertainment - the entertainment were the best! Memo is just lovely he has been there all the 3 years we have been and we love him to bits especially Annalea! Jay Jay has been there for two years he is absoloutely hilarious and we both love him to bits! Jem has also been there this year and last and he is so lovely and cute and we love him to bits too especially claire! Hasan is new this year and he is also lovely but quite shy though!
We would definaitely visit this hotel again. We will definitely be there next year but for a lot longer this time. Hopefully!

The hotel was really clean and tidy, the staff at this hotel was really friendly and helpful to us, the kids loved it there, made lots of new friends and the entertainment staff were brilliant, Nemo and Jay Jay were fantastic.
The bars you need to visit are Tommy bar just outside the hotel, Miami just down the road from Tommy, and Stone House across the road from the hotel. In the town itself the Dreamboys is a must, Chill Bar is a must, the Love Boat is a must, the Lighthouse is a must too.
The hotel is brilliant, the rooms are just quiet spacious, very very clean. Top tip take tea, coffee, butter, cheese, squash, toilet rolls, and any old mobile phone you don't want as you can sell them over there for good money.
The pool is beautiful and clean, the jewellery shop is brilliant for diamonds, and the hairdressers Nigel is very good price and a very good cut and colour you can get, also a good shave for men done there.
Well worth the money going to this hotel, did not want to come home, only arrived yesterday lunchtime and have booked to go back again to the same hotel in September 2005.
Would recommend this hotel to anyone very good value for money and a lovely location.

Just returned from the Grand, certainly lives up to its name. Cleanest hotel I have stayed in and although the rooms were smallish, were sufficient for a family of 4.
Entertainment was a bit dire but the guys in the entertainment team made up for it, they were brilliant and had everyone joining in.
Staff couldn't do enough for you, especially Achmed, unique (you'll know if you meet him) and Chris.
Ate at the hotel a few times excellent and can thoroughly recommend it.
Can also vouch for the hairdresser as whole family had something done!

Well what can I say .. this is the 3rd year in a row we have come back to the Grand and it won't be the last.. A big up to JJ Nemo Jem Onar these guys make your hoilday..
The resturant staff are brill very helpful thanks to Chris, Muhammed and Faith. All good lads
The rooms are spotless cleaned every day can't fault them..
This hotel feels like home as soon as you walk into it.
We were there from the 24/6 to 8/7 so hi to all that were there from Brian, Vicky, Jack and Oli

The hotel was very clean. They never stopped cleaning.
The rooms were very small for a family of 4. The cleaner was brilliant considering the state we left it.

We stayed in this hotel because everybody was telling us how brilliant Turkey was so my mum suggested we would go here because it looked ideal for me and my cousin who are 14.
The food was nice with the waiters serving you with hands and foot and were always giving you complements.
The hotel situated not very close to all the lively bars and stuff but the hotel and everything that you needed, it even has a shop.

The self catering facilities are not very good just a small two ring hot plate not very good for a family of four. Good fridge and cooking utensils, apart from that could not fault the apartment. Very clean and just what you need in an apartment.

We travelled to the Grand Aquarium in May, first impressions not so good, had read on here about the list of charges you get when you get there but still found it a little rude. Didn't even get the choice to take our bags to our rooms as bell boy whipped them off us and ran off, we tried to explain that we had no change on us for a tip but he carried on then got rather rude when we only had a pound to give him. Cheeky swine.
Other then that cannot fault, we absolutely loved it, the maid was always making the place spotless even if we didn't leave the apartment till 3 in the afternoon and she always kept us amused with her towel patterns. On my birthday she left me 4 roses and made a lovely pattern on the bed with towels and fresh flower petals.
The entertainment team were always good fun, BINGO BINGO, I don't know where they get the energy from they never seem to sleep.
It's a fabulous place to go if you have kids, the people always made a super fuss of my 5 month old daughter, we certainly had no problems finding a baby sitter.
All in all a lovely clean, pretty hotel in a nice town.

Me my hubby my daughter and son and cousins went to the Grand Aquarium back last year it was the best holiday I have been on and would definitely go back.
The hotel staff were great especially Muhammad Ali 9 not sure how you spell it) we became really good friends with him. Jay jay and Sasha and all the rest of them did a really good job with entertaining the kids and us as well. We played water polo and had pool competitions and often played a game of bingo.
The pool and slide was a great laugh for the kids even though it was only open for a certain time in the day. The water was really cold but the pool was lovely. Me and my daughter had a Turkish bath and my hubby had a shave he said it felt great. My daughter also had her hair braided in the hair dressers which looked really nice.
The food was great and also the Jay jay and Joey did a great job of entertaining up in the night. We had a Turkish night there on it had belly dancers, Turkish foods and magic shows and lots of other great shows which my hubby and cousin took part in.
The rooms are really basic but they are also very clean. We had friends staying in the Club aquarium which was the sister hotel and we got to go back and for free using the shuttle bus. The Club Aquarium is a very quiet hotel which I would recommend for people going on a quiet holiday!! But for people with kids I would go to the Grand Aquarium.

We had a very good time in Turkey, it is our first visit (well most of us anyway). Between the 22 of us we all loved the hotel and are cosidering going again next year but not in such a big group.
We advise you all to go the children loved it and the staff were ever so friendly and overall the hoilday was great.
