I booked this Hotel due to the Agents site stating that it was a Family Hotel & lots for children-WRONG, daytime entertainment was for adults or much older children, the so called Kids Club was a waste of time, the evening entertaiment for children consisted of around 30 minutes in the ampitheatre doing the same dances to the same songs every night! As for the food, they do not cater for children in the restaurant at all my 6yr old was living off chips & cucumber, the snack bar wasn't much better so after paying for All Inclusive we ended up having to eat all our meals out. I have been going abroad for years & this is the first time I've complained & the first place I have ever had to get up around 6am to put towels on the sunloungers, I know we call the germans for doing it but if you don't get your towels down very early you will not get a sunbed or a brolly which is a must when you have children! Very noisy late at night/early hours, doors slamming, children running around screaming & shouting so don't expect much sleep. Ice cream 2 hours a day! 12.30 to 1.30 then 6pm to 7pm which is wrong, the queues where huge & not everyone got served!

The Pivate Beach is a joke, very expensive for food & drink which is wrong, if the Hotel was on the beach you wouldn't have to pay for anything! The Hotel itself is clean, very nice & in a great setting but the negatives outway the positives, very disappointed especially for my 6yr old, would not go back there.

My family stayed in the club sun city for the second time in October for the last two weeks of the season. I have two daughters aged 8 & 13.

The review I left last year (About 6 or 7 before this one) remains in the majority true, as my previous review is very detailed I will only list what has changed since last year so you may read this in conjunction with that review if you wish.

The restaurant has been completely rebuilt, it is vastly improved over last year and now has many more tables under cover and is all on a single level.(Albeit up a steep 9 foot long brickweave ramp or 5 stairs)

The entertainment this year was very very poor, the D.j. was ok but you could forget the rest. The childrens mini disco and dances etc were exactly the same (Rubish) every single night.

Please bear in mind that star ratings are set to & by the standard of the country you are in, Club sun city has ticks in enough boxes to qualify for a Turkish 4 star rating due to having amongst other things, 4 swimming pools, tennis courts, 3 Bars, ampitheatre, disco, fitness equipment, on site shop, barber, hairdresser, turkish baths, decent security etc etc and your room will have a fridge (even though it is an all inclusive hotel) 2 phones, air contitioning, safe, t.v. a sofa and a hairdryer.

However I would say some of the furniture in the rooms is beginning to look a little tired. I would say the hotel is pretty much to the same standard as a Spanish 3 star hotel (Or in my experience an Egyptian 5 star !o)) Dont expect luxury, do expect clean comfortable & adequate.

We all went on the Microlight flights with Fly-South while we were there and had a superb time doing so, I would definatley recommend doing this while you are there (Much safer than the local alternative).

WE had a great chilled out 14 days and enjoyed ourselves however we dont think we will be returning soon as we would like to try something different next year.

Went to this hotel for my son's wedding. Very good hotel and as for the food you are spoilt for choice. Some nights it was a bit repetitive but because of the vaiety you didn't need to have the same thing twice. All the staff are extremely friendly and all speak english. The only complaint I have is that when we first arrived we were put in a family room on the ground floor and were plagued by mosquitos, I was bitten nearly every day until one night I had had enougfh because we spent a solid hour swatting over 50 mozzies. I went to reception and complained and they gave us another room the next day which was on the second floor, we'd already used one can of Raid fly spray in 2 days. The hotel sprayed the room but it didn't make any difference. We found out on the day we moved from this room that they were coming from a false ceiling just out side our door. Apparently the mozzies are a problem in this area but nearly all the shops sell repellants and room sprays and burners. Aprt from that the hotel is great. The hotel has its own private beach on the Blue Lagoon which it says is only for it's own guests but there were a lot of people there who were definately not from our hotel. On the beach thre are plenty of sun beds with big pink cushions filled with polybeads. They do make you quite hot but are really comfy. If you prefer you can get a mattress like the ones on hotel suneds but you have to pay 5 lira for them. It's not really a childrens beach but it's fun if you take some bread to feed the fishes, they will eat out of your hand if you hold on to the bread.

Travelled to Sun City from 25/08/07 - 01/09/07.

Hotel in excellent location 2 minutes from main street - lots of shops, bars, restaurants selling the usual holiday souvenirs, about 5 to the beach. Hotels private beach and the famous blue lagoon about 10 minutes by bus.

Cleanliness - rooms well kept by the cleaners, no problems there. Gardens well maintained lots of plants and flowers. However I felt though around the pool areas this wasnt the case rubbish and cups from the previous day were often lying around.

Staff - bar and restaurant staff seemed unhappy maybe because most of them have been working since the start of the season, but even so, we're the paying guests and could have been friendlier. They were reluctant to chat with you, apart from the chef who fries the pasta in the restaurant very friendly, funny - a top man!!! Hotel was very busy, but you never had to wait too long at the bar to be served.

Sunbeds always an area for concern, the letter you get when you arrive at the hotel says you must not put towels down before 9 am or they will be removed. Fair enough I thought, first come first served without getting up at 4 am to beat the Germans!! First morning went to breakfast at 7.45 not a bed to be seen by the pool, the hotel dont enforce this, so if you want to get up early to bag your bed then go for it!!

Beer, Vodka, Gin, Brandy, Raki are the only alcoholic drinks on the all inclusive package, anything else is charged for. Soft drinks and water included

Food - freshly fried eggs, omelette, boiled eggs, salad, fruit, pastries - not your full English!! You can get that at the restaurants in the main street for 9 Turkish Lira. Lunch & dinner, plentiful normally 3/4 meat dishes, vegetables, the inevitable pasta, chips and salad. Fruit and pastries for dessert. Afternoon tea available with cakes and tea/coffee. Soup from 11 - midnight if you wanted it.

Safety deposit boxes available for 35 Turkish Lira per week. Late checkout very hit and miss, some people were allowed some weren't - the charge was 25 Turkish. We were the unlucky ones not able to keep our room, but there is a left luggage area for your cases and a shower room, not ideal but at least you could get your last days sunbathing in.

Insects/mosquitos - you will need to get repellent, my wife was lucky, but I had 20 odd marks on me over a week.

The food in club sun city was fine most nights apart from saturday which i think was turkish night, but we still maaged to find something.

The entertainment staff are great there was a water gym and volleyball on a morning in the pool, also a darts game and table tennis tornament. In the afternoon there was water polo and everyone had fun that played.

The hotel staff are friendly and all of them speak english. I would definately reccomend this hotel to anyone interested in staying in olu deniz.

On a night everything stopped at 12 so that everyone could get a good nights sleep.

Scuba diving is a must, it was a great day and if you dont want to go down you can just go on the boat and snorkle or swim.

Excellent hotel, spotless and friendly staff. Adults only pool wonderful away from the noise if you want a quiet read with a good book. Food quite good although a bit repetitive like a lot of hotels though.

Location good not too noisy at night. Fantastic value, we had a family room consisting of a room with bunk beds and balcony and bathroom and an adjoining room with a double bed, and we were just a couple!!

Entertainment a bit lacking but we tended to go out into the village every night Been to this hotel three times now, the last two half board but the food was much better than then, perhaps because it is now AI.

We stayed at the Sun City for the last two weeks of October and were among the last guests to stay there in 2006. We have 2 daughters aged 12 and 7 years old.

The food was excellent, breakfast included a choice of about a dozen cereals, several breads, jams, honey, yogurt, cheeses, fruit and every morning a cook would be cooking eggs and pancakes and another would be busy making omblets or eggy bread etc, to go with ther you could get hard boiled eggs, sliced tomato's with cheese tops or sliced sausages in a tomato sauce. Tea, coffee and a choice of 4 squashes were always available at breakfast. A few people were moaning about there being no "full English" breakfast if you really must have a big fry up you do have a choice, go for a short walk to one of the resort restaurants and get one for about

The rooms at the hotel are very basic and was not entirely satisfied when I arrived but as my fortnight went by I grew to just like it.

The all inclusive at the restaurant is ok if you like eating the same thing all the time!!!

Most days we wentout for breakfast to the nearby restaurants and if you like your full english breakfasts pepinos is the place to go.

Some days we did stay for breakfast in the hotel they offer a range of cereals and breads.

The hotel snack bar has the same menu every day hamburgers cheeseburgers hot dogs chips and spaghetti.

Ice crean is only available from 12-2pm,
there were a few nights in the restaurant where the food was lovely but others where nobody liked anything.

The best restaurant in Olu Deniz is the joy bar which offers some great value meals and is also a karaoke bar for a fun night out.

If you are lookingfor nightclubs head to hisaronu.
restaurants and bars in Hisaronu are much cheaper with better shopping facilities.

Entertainment staff didnt really do much just wonder around the pool.

Hotel location 2mins from beach. The famous blue lagoon is approx 10mins walk but there is a free bus service it gets really very hot down there and you have to pay to get in.

Main bar staff are lovely rooney loves kids and was always holding my 4month old baby.

We stayed at Sun City for 1 week early September in quite a large group age range from todler to pensioner and found something that pleased everybody.
We arrived in the early hours of the morning and apart from what seemed a very long 2 hour transfer, check in at the hotel was quick and easy.
The rooms were very clean and comfortable.

We found the hotel and its ground extremly well maintained and clean.

We found that there were always sunbeds available but think this is due to hotel not being full.

Food was always hot and we could always find something to suit our tastes even for my very fussy husband. Tables were always available in the restaurant at any time.
Dont expect a full english breakfast, although lots of other choices.

The hotel is 2 minutes walk from the resort centre and 5 mins from the beach, although from our rooms we did not here any noise from the resort bars.

The private beach is quite small and we only stayed for 1 hour and looks nicer in the picture than what it actually is.

Most of the staff were freindly and obliging, just seemed to be the bar staff in the day that were very slow and seemed to serve women first.

The entertainment team worked hard to try and get guests to join in but didnt pester you if you said no,
I feel they could have varied the day time activities as it was the same games everyday.

Overall we all had a great time with clear hot days everyday.

Some of our party have already said they will go back next year.

This hotel is fantastic, set in a quiet location with hills up above it is quite something.

The staff are the friendly as were the holiday reps.

Hotel is very clean. Rooms are small but are cleaned daily.

Food was varied and hot! With two 16rys and one 11ry it was difficult to find somewhere that meet everybody's requests. But I did it, we all had a fantastic time.
