The hotel location can't be beaten. The hotel was clean and facilities adequate,the maids cleaned daily.
The food we had was not up to much, but I dont generally like to eat in hotels anyway. There are plenty of restaurants 2 minutes walk away.
I loved the hotel, but frankly did not like the manager, who ripped me off on arrival and then again, the next day. That was the end of me spending money in the hotel itself. Then the manager had the cheek to ask me why I was not spending money in the hotel!! I found him arrogant and pushy.
I would go back, if he was no longer there!!

noisy noisy noisy all night till 5am mainly from hotel next door but also from bar area. no sleep for 3 nights so moved out and paid for peace! very annoying loud music all day by pool. no kids pool as advertised. expensive at bar.

The Tolay Hotel is brilliant. I've been three times, and each time I've been there I have met some amazing people. Ali, the manager, and the rest of the staff, Victor, Tolga and Murat are always happy to help with anything, and they really do make your holiday. The hotel is literally a two minute walk to the town, which is always good. Most days, we had Killer Pool, or a Quiz, and everyday, about 3pm the cake man would be around for ten minutes. Also, everyday, we would get clean towels, and our the rooms would be tidied. I think the food at the hotel is lovely, and I always got what I asked for. The pool is always a good temperature, and it's a decent size, although it's smaller than last two years I had been there, but there are plenty of sun loungers available, and inflatables are always around to use. Everyone is always friendly, and I love going there, it really is the best location to me and I have become great friends with the staff, and always look forward to visiting each year. I love it.

ALI IS THE BEST MANAGER THERE EVER WAS.
And he doesn't allow people to invite random people into their rooms actually, he doesn't hassle you.
Just thought i'd let you know pal :).
ABSOLUTELY love the place, and the staff are all amazing people, whom I miss so much. AND WOULD NEVER WANT THEM TO LEAVE, right?!

Arrived at the Tolay in the early hours of the morning.Met by a member of staff who took our bags to our room.next day found out his name was Murat.
This is a family run hotel managed by Ali who does a great job.Nothing is too much trouble.
The hotel is basic but most importantly clean and the staff take pride on a job well done.
When I first arrived I was a stranger,when I left I was leaving behind friends.
Booked up again 2010 and my family are so impressed with my conversations about the hotel our party will be 9 this year.
If you want to visit Turkey all inclusive and not leave the hotel this is not for you.
However if you want to see the the sites and come back to friendly welcoming staff this is for you.ps dont tell too many people about this great hotel or I might not get a booking for next year

The hotal staff spoke very limited English or none at all.The buffet style breakfast consisted of 4 olives half a tomato,a small basket of bread some cheese and a cup of tea.It was not buffet style and was the same thing brought to the table every day.There was no entertainment at all.
The location is excellent as you are 2 minutes away from the main drag where the pubs and restaurants are.It was peaceful at night despite the partying going on 2 minutes away
The pool had no water all week,the sun loungers were covered in green mould.The hotel next door offered us their pool area for the week at no charge.
The bedding was torn and damp and the room was very cold.The shower trickled water due to limescale caked around the head.The room was cleaned regularly tho and clean towels were provided every other day
I took photos and videos - this is probably the worst hotel we have stayed at in Turkey.
I would not recommend it nor would I stay there again

Went to tolay for a week this september had a brilliant time!! Not a single complaint! Every thing was lovely.
The staff are brilliant so kind and helpful and just excelent!
The location is amazing you are close enough to be in the town within a minute or two but u never hear any of the noise from it!
Definitely going back next year and would reccomend it to anyone!!!

The Manager Ali was excellent at his job and very well mannered & nothing was to much trouble,the room we had was very clean and remained well cleaned for the two weeks we were there,the bar and the restaurant prices were on the high side, they should try to compete with the town prices,when we dinned in the hotel the food was very good, the location was the right place near to the town but far enough from the noise, all in all we had a very good holiday and would recommend the hotel to our friends and we would return.

the food in the tolay hotel isnt that good but very clean hotel and most of the staff are very friendly,well all are except one who was very rude during the last week of my holiday up until then my holiday was excellent. prices are abit on the expensive side and hotel staff very pushy to try and make you buy out of the hotel and make you feel uncomfortable is you spend your money else where.

When we arrived at the hotel we were welcomed by the staff who were very helpful right from the start. Although we were disappointed with our room to begin with as it was quite small and had low celings in parts which took a bit of getting used to. We also opened one of the drawers to find an ashtray full or ash and other rubbish which was not a good start...... we immediately went down to reception to get our room changed but there was no rooms available so a cleaner was sent to our room within 10 minutes to sort it out. One other moan about the room was that the shower / toilet room was very small and the shower was practically above the toilet - this was something we did get used to eventually aswell as getting used to the room although if we were staying two weeks we would have definately asked for a change. The best bit about the room was the balcony -was a good size.
The pool was nice, and plenty of sunbeds around. Bar prices are quite expensive although they have a happy hour every now and again throughout the day. And "Cake Man" comes every so often so I would recommend you buy a cake from him - very nice!!!
