Keep balcony doors closed at night. Got eaten alive by mosquitoes! Staff are extreamly friendly.

Pefkos itself was very 'British' but not too tacky. although you can see the bars chasing each other with flashing signs and promos that have become de rigeur in Spain. I hope they stop this as at the moment it is a pleasant resort with a wide choice of restaurants. Our favourite, Anixis, was reasonably priced and fed all four of us for under €50 every night, inculding drinks. We went back often.
I would like to return to Pefkos again, and would probably stay at Lindia Thalassa as it was pleasant and relaxing, with just enough to do for everyone.

As we have friends who own the Eclipse Bar and Blue Bay Restaurant we tend to spend a lot of time in the evenings but would use small beach adjacent to hotel during day when not sightseeing. Can really recommend Rhodes Old Town and a trip to Prassonissi.

Nice clean beach. Resort centre has many nice restaurants but no entertainment. We would definitely visit this resort again.

very nice compact typical resort . didn't use beach but looked very nice. loads of choice for eating out we tried terpsis,georges,enigma,hellas garden,lindos cuisine all very nice but the best was nostalgia. tried lees beach bar and flyers both nice. great music in rock cafe ( not rock garden). you must do glass bottom boat to lindos and back great skipper and great value at 15 euro (leaves at 10 o,clock but get there early)great location for touring island must see monolithos castle.

Pefkos is a lively resort with restaurants to suit every taste and pocket! Recommended restaurants include Terpsis, Anixis, and the Greek House. There is a lovely quiet stretch of beach near where the glass bottom boat leaves. Look out for the kingfisher and the shoals of fish in the rock pools!

Pefkos is a small resort. The sea is clear blue and stony in parts. With a snorkel you can see many types of fish. The beach shelfs gently. You can walk out 10-15 meters and sitl be only chest high. In October when we stayed the sea was calm, great for young children. The people are friendly and speak excellent English. Making it almost impossible to try your Greek. You can easily get by with Yamas (cheers).
Pefkos is tucked into a hillside, so if your or a companion find walking up hill a trial check your resort is close to the beach. Most of the main shops and restaurants have steps and some would, in my opinion would be difficult to impossible for some to access. There are some excellent restaurants, serving food for all pockets (per head from: 8.99 - 9-99 Euro for 3 courses or 10 - 12 Euro for a main course at time of writing - 2008). We liked it there and will return.
