Just retuned on 13th November no complaints about apartments I must admit I read feed back before I went and was a bit worried but I found these apartments. Very clean cleaner did come in while we where there but take your own kettle.
I will be going back early February 2008 good luck to the Benimar staff see you again.

After reading a few reviews about the Benimar I arrived with trepidation, but immediately that was gone with the warm welcome we received from reception. We had a top floor apt. 9A and it was very clean and quiet. The bed linen was changed once during our weeks stay which is sufficiant. The only thing missing was an iron and a kettle but you only had to ask at reception and they were delivered to your room in minutes. We found the staff very polite,friendly and efficient. We would definitely stay at the Benimar Apartments again.

Me and 3 of my friends all aged 18 stayed in the benimar this july 2007 and had a great time the rooms are great with every thing you need including a washing machine that does work (we used it twice) the service was great and so was the food! The pool was ok but wasnt that big. The staff were lovely! We are going back this month and are planning on staying there again. We had a class time!!!!

Myself and 5 friends booked our holiday in January and later read reports about the hotel, I must say we were all very worried!
On arrival the reception staff weren't overall friendly and our rooms weren't ready for us, however when we did arrive in our rooms we were all relieved!
I admit they weren't 5 star but that's not what we payed for...they were clean and spacious. The cleaners were there everyday, changing sheets and towels etc (they were also very friendly.)
We had two rooms, one was fantastic all week, the other had the odd problem. The shower was freezing cold which meant 6 of us were using one shower for a day, however once we let reception no the problem was resolved straight away.
The air conditioning was working but leaked huge puddles of water under the door into the bedroom, the hotel attempted to fix it but it didn't do any good.
The location to the square was quite a walk-20minutes or more, which was fine on the way but not so good on the way back!
Generally a very enjoyable holiday, with an average hotel.

We arrived at Benimar apts 9 June 2007 and I must say this is the worst accommodation we have ever stopped in. On arriving we got to our room there was only 2 beds made up we had to go down stairs get our own bed linen and make our own beds up. The apts were very badly maintained and absolutely filthy I didn't expect the Ritz for the price but I expected a little bit better than what we got. I accidently locked myself out on the second day because the key was on the inside the duplicate key wouldn't open the door we had to pay to get a locksmith to get us back in which cost us 108 euro approx

Having just returned last night from the Benimar Apts in Benidorm I would not recommend this to anyone. The apartment was not up to an acceptable standard even for 2 stars not even a shaky 1 star. The covers on the settees were filthy, the cooker was the same. The apartment was only visited once in the week for a bed change. There was no kettle or iron but there was a dirty torn ironing board. The mop for cleaning the floor was so smelly I nearly threw it off the balcony as it could be smelt whilst trying to enjoy the last of the sun on the other balcony. Whilst having a shower anyone in the corridor could see you as there was no curtain on the window. Being asked to leave a 60

i stayed in the benimar twice now. although i think the pool could be better(more private) i thought it was a great place for a cheap holiday. the kidsloved it.. even had washing machine great.. would stay again but only while kids are very young as no entertainment and sometimes kids dont want to venture out a****

Benimar was alot more than we had expected. The apartments were spotless and deserve more than a 2 star rating.
Pool area could be a bit bigger but was good enough and we spent a few of our days there.
The only foods I would recommend are the cheese and bacon baguettes and cheese pizzas, they were great!
We had a breakfast on the last day which was could be alot better as they used hot dogs for sausages and the bacon just didn't taste too good!
Prices of beers and food are reasonable and it is handy as it is just down stairs. Had air conditioning in the sitting room and bedroom which was a bonus and made the apartment nice and cool.
Benimar is a 10 min walk away from the Square and 5 from the beach which is great aswell. One member of staff in particular was very friendly, polite and made us feel very welcome.
All in all I would recommend these apartments to anyone and I would definitely go back.

Good location for just about everything nightlife, old town, new town, supermarket, buses.
Hotel staff very friendly and helpful if you want good cheap food go out main door turn right walk down the street then turn right just after the pharmacy and go to Witches Bistro.
Only two gripes no kettle in apartments and hated Benidorm resort. Old town was ok but the so called English square cheap entertainment for cheap people. It's ashame these apartments had to be in this resort as we would go back to them but not Benidorm.
