Found this a brilliant hotel, cleaned inside and outside with really good standards. The food was really nice, as i'm usually a really fussy eater, but enjoy the food there, as there was plenty of choice. The hotel wasn't far from the beach, but after a few too many, found it harder to get home, ha ha!

Hotel staff were lovely people, very friendly, honest and helpful, must be the nicest hotel staff I,ve ever met, and am looking forward to meeting again, in June this year, when I'm returning. The entertainment was great, even in early March, it catered for everyone, and had a cracking atmosphere, and as I said, I've already booked to return for a week in June this year.

We stayed at the Flamingo Benidorm Xmas 2003. It was the best AI we have ever stayed in. The food was superb with so many choices for all courses. All Local drinks available with none of this only two drinks nonsense. You could get what you liked. Never any queues at the bar or the restaurant and it was very busy.
The rooms were one bed apartments so plenty of space and very clean. Both bedroom and living room had patio doors leading to a very large balcony. Plenty of wardroom space. Nice bathroom. We had no complaints and we are looking forward to going back next xmas. Lovely friendly staff as well.
Xmas Lunch was amazing 7 course gala meal that they really made special. We had a wonderful time. This hotel is on a slight incline when your walking back up.

Flamingo Benidorm was the most enjoying holiday i have ever had the staff were so friendly and helpful they made me feel so welcome.

The kids club was a godsend (i was on my own with 2 kids age 9 and 7) it gave me a few hours where i knew the children were well looked after and i could do my own thing.

The entertainment at night was excellent for the children disco, parrot show, all fun and games. When the childrens entertainment finishes its time for the adults what a laugh. There was party games music shows hypnotists excellent this made my holiday.

My children are such fussy eaters but there were foods put on especially for chilfren ie chicken nuggarts, smiley faces potato things, saussage, pizza, chips there was never a day they said that they did not like the food.

The hotel is on a slight incline but you dont mind that as its worth the walk to get back to the nice surroundings.

I mentioned earlier i was on my own with the children every one made me very welcome and encouraged me to join in with things going on. I recommend this hotel to any single parent.

We enjoyed our time here we have booked to again this september i cant wait.

Arrived at the Flamingo Benidorm, late 23.30, with my wife and children aged 8 and 9. Check-in was very quick and I was able to enjoy the last 30mins of all inclusive drinks and snacks.

Late night snacks were fairly limited to just toasties and fruit etc, but that was fine (other wise I would end up too fat)
Bar service seemed very good with no long queues.

We were allocated rooms on the 14th floor (of 25 in total). All rooms have a pool view. Bedrooms were standard 3* size but had separate living room (sofas in use as beds for our children) A TV was also provided with satellite including Sky News and Cartoon Network. In addition ( from its previous days as apartments, I presume) there was a tiny kitchen with cooker and very useful fridge.
The rooms also had Air conditioning.

4 lifts served the bedrooms. 2 for odd and 2 for even floors. No major problems just a bit busy at peak times, in which case you hopped on any lift and walked down a floor if necessary.

The pool we found excellent. Looked small from the only picture I saw but in reality was a good size. Not too deep and the kids loved it. Activities such as water polo and pistol shooting went on.
Plenty of sunbeds, but you needed to put a towel on early for the best spots. Some mornings the cleaners would keep the pool area locked till about 08:30. This created a group of people on starting blocks.

During the day the poolside bar was open. The service was good and included ice lollies as well as a wide range of drinks.
Occasionally there was a pool side snack service providing cheeseburgers and chips.

Food was excellent even if it did repeat itself the second week. Restaurant was clean, cool and with efficient staff.

Nighttime entertainment started off with a quick bingo session with good money. Entertainment, held on outside terrace, wasn't really up to much I must confess, but the drinks flowed and the staff were really nice. Kids disco was a little bit late as was the kids film at 10pm. An adults film was played nightly too. Pool bar closed at night, staff transferred to indoor bar serving the inner lounges and outer terrace area.

Generally the entire staff were very friendly and helpful. All spoke English and there were a few British staff too.

The hotels location was about a 5 min walk from the main drag were plenty of shops could be found and the beach a minute further. Benidorm market was just a few minutes walk too. Plenty of parking available, if like I, you rent a car.

In summary, for me, a great family hotel and I would recommend it to just about anyone. There is a good chance I will return next year.

We have returned from a fortnight's holiday at this hotel and found our experience to be similar to the previous lady's comments. All building/alterations are complete.

Reception area/lounge area/poolside kept clean and tidy by staff. Benefit of twin bedroom and lounge with sofa beds so not all crammed into one room as with most all inclusive.

Air conditioning in hotel and rooms a life-saver. Restaurant provided superb food - well presented and varied.

Theme nights included Mexican,Spanish,Indian,Oriental etc.

Restaurant staff, bar staff and Reception all friendly and efficient (watch your plate in the restaurant - staff sometimes too efficient and cleared before I had finished)!

Daytime activities organised by hotel staff good - archery, shooting, pool etc. Water polo good to watch but did take over the use of the pool. Did not like parrot show - then they go round the pool taking photos with 10 euros up front. Ten minute Scuba diving lesson in pool -looked OK.

Night time entertainment OK. Children loved it (Ages 10 and 8). Most popular - Hypnotist and Acrobatics.

I got a late deal to the Flamingo Benidorm apartments and the womans comments below scared me to death !! However, I am happy to report that I see no similarity between her comments and the lovely place we stayed 24th july 2002.

The renovations are complete, pool is lovely, place is very clean, staff friendly (although I will admit the cleaners seem to think you're a bit of an imposition when they want to get in the lift), facilities good. Yes the lift got stuck once while we were there but it was simply a couple of inches below the level of the floor and the chap didn't look like hed been stuck there hours (but im sat in my office at the moment and our lift has been broken for a week!!)turn a left then in a straight line to the lovely beach. I have no bad comments at all.

My husband loved it, my 9yr old son loved it and so did my 13 yr old daughter (as much as teenagers like anything...) two minute walk to the open air market (weds and sun). It was brilliant !! Id def go back.

Hint for the lifts as they can take a while (its 25 floors) theres two even floor lifts and two odd floor lifts - call for both even and odd lifts and simply walk down a flight if you get the odd lift and youre on an even floor ! Oh, and if youre on floor one TAKE THE STAIRS!
