Hotel clean, staff friendly and very good with the kids, food plenty and hot, even for the fussy kids. Hotel with in walking distants to shops, beach, train station, excursions good, marine land brilliant, medival night brilliant.
A good time was had by all.
Swimming pool good but cold. Entertaintment was ok if you joined in.

Santa Monica the children's entertainment was great both the Thomson's reps at kids club made the bairns really welcome and entertained. The hotel team was really good for children and adults and kept us all amused.
The selection of food was superb and well presented.
Good location for beach shops etc.
All staff really friendly as hotel was all British no problem with language.
The extras in room and on departure was great so unexpected for the price of hotel.

Have just returned today and we had a fantastic time. The Hotel is three star but could pass for four. The reception staff were really helpful with anything you wanted to know they even put our spanish lottery on for us.the reps were always around when if needed.
The food was very good with plenty of choice and you could eat as much as you want.
The hotel is situated right near the beach its only a five minute walk.
The staff were really great and always tried to get people to join with things as there was things going on throughout the day and not just for the kids.
Bar staff are very friendly and I must say all the staff work very hard to ensure you enjoy your holiday.
The pool is a little on the small side with plenty of sun beds,but as I said the beach is only a five minute walk away.
If you have to check out out by twelve and you have a late flight dont worry there is a luggage room down stairs with showers and toilets and its not a problem they think of everything.
There is building work going on across the way but it did not bother us as you hardly know its there they just dont seem to do much work on it so there is no need to worry on that one.
I would go back to that hotel again its great.

This hotel is one of the best we have stayed in.
It`s basic but the staff are very helpful and mainly English so there's no problem about getting info about any aspect of your holiday.
I liked the little touches, beach bag, sewing kit, manicure set in the room on arrival, and a bottle of wine on departure.
The holiday was so cheap, if they can do it why can`t others.
The building site we were warned about didn`t bother us at all, they were working but it didn`t interfere with us.
Our room was clean and spacious although it was meant for 3 people. Staff were always cleaning.
The food was very good, with back bacon for breakfast,(we have always had streaky abroad) and plenty of choice, also there is a sandwich toaster there that gives another option. Evening meals were good with a roasted joint of meat every night that just melted in the mouth, plenty of other choices too. Plenty of desserts and fresh fruit at both meal times.
There are plenty of sunbeds and we never had to worry about getting one later in the day there was always some empty.
We will definitely be returning to this hotel.

Hotel was very well presented and clean (which is 1 of the main things for me!) Bath and Shower excellent. Room just what needed.
Location was very close to Beach, shops, train station etc... But the building of new hotel opposite blocks the sun to the pool area.
Pool nice and clean but could of done with heating!
Entertainment excellent both daytime whilst sitting by pool and evening.
Staff worked very hard to make everybody's holiday good fun!
Food I was not overly impressed with. Plenty of choice but not always good choices (lots of fish dishes) Was slightly disappointed in this!!

Visited with sister The meals provided a good choice except there was too much fish Hotel was clean and pleasant. Locdation to beach was near going through an underpass but the sand was awful.
This hurt your feet with or without shoes, and the sea was dangerous as this just dropped and took your feet with it.
Staff were quite friendly but security very lax, we were actually given someone elses passport and safe key. The entertainmant was diabolical and aimed at children adults being treat the same.
Children were running round until the early hours unsupervised. The pool was nice and very clean as this was swept and swilled every night, but the notice about inflatables was ignored and the pool was spoilt by this and diving and jumping.
We were advised about building work before booking up but this was not a problem as all the main construction had been carried out.
The main street was all restaurants and very few bars that could be visited by women on their own at night.We did take advantage of the ferry trip up the costa brava which was a lovely trip but the beaches were all the same and we were unable to walk on them.

It was fantastic, the best time of my life. The hotel was brilliant condition and the food and enviornment was lovely.
The staff were funny and were approcahble to evreybodys needs.
The two lads we met made my holiday.
and the other people staying there were brilliant as it was all English people.

Rooms cleaned every day. and cleaners were always friendly, especially the Head Housekeeper.
In my opinion, the food was excellent. Lovely to have a cooked breakfast every morning. Evening meal always had several choices, and with the ability to go up as many times as you want, the weight was piling on!! A few people in my party did think that the food was very bland and craved something with a bit of 'kick' in it!
The staff at the hotel were fab. They were always willing to help whatever the situation. The children's reps were lovely, and have stayed in touch with my son by email since our return which I thought was very nice. All the children thoroughly enjoyed the kids clubs.
The only 'average' thing about the holiday was the evening entertainment. Some nights were better than others though. The nights that they involved the audience members were funny, especially when they had my brother and his friend up on stage doing 'The Full Monty!'.
There was a building site as you came out of the hotel entrance, but there was very minimal activity, which never affected us at all.
The pool was a fair size, but the sun terrace around it was quite small and became very crowded, but we overcame that issue by going to the beach every day.
Overall, we all had a lovely holiday, and I recommend it to people with families.

Hotel looked nice. Staff were very helpful and really friendly.
The pool was good for the kids, but although they did have a sign up to say no inflatables no one seemed to take any notice of this. so the pool was nearly always packed with inflatables.
Food was ok. It got very predicatable at the end as it was chips with everything. Not much of a choice for kids.
Kid club reps were really lovely.
There were 2 incidents at the hotel that has made us think twice about going back again. First one was: a woman had her handbag nicked from the hotel by someone who wasnt a guest.
Secondly: Someone came into the hotel (who wasnt a guest) and went upto one of the floors and stole a key from the chamber maids bag and tried all the doors on that floor. She was caught ny the chambermaid and the police were called.
Security isnt too hot in the hotel but we did enjoy our stay there!
