The hotel had a perfect location, really near to the beach and only a short walk to the main strip.

There was some entertainment at the hotel but we decided we preferred to sample the local night life rather than stay in the hotel.

I would recommend this hotel to anyone, but there were too many kids there for our likings (a group of 12 people all aged 20-24).

The staff were very friendly and all spoke English.

This hotel is so clean you can eat your dinner off the floor!! lol I wouldn't recommend it thou lol!!

I loved staying here so much that the day I arrived back in Scotland I booked straight up for next year.

The food could have more of a variety as one night there was veal or fish and I don't eat either so I had chips and a roll lol!!

Entertainment ain't up to much but your on holiday to look around not to sit at your hoter all say!

The pool is an ok size but you have to be down early to get a sunbed as there isn't enough for everyone staying there! this is a mixed hotel full of Spanish, British, French and German which didn't really bother me.

Only downfall was that walls are so thin you can here everyone in the next room. Rooms were cleaned daily and you get clean towels everyday if needed.

The Europa Park is a great hotel in a great location. It is very clean. The cleaners seem to be there all day long! Your towels were changed every day and the maid came to your room every day. If in the morning you wanted a lie in, the maid would come back later to make up your room.

The food was fine, lots of cold meat and salad. We eat out quite a lot but the food may suit others. The breakfast was good.

The location of the hotel was great, not too far away from the centre. The pool area is quite small but nice. Ask for a room on the 6th floor and you will not need to go to the pool, sun loungers on balcony and its a sun trap!

I would recommend this hotel and if i was going back to Salou, i would have no problem staying here again.

Was immediately impressed by the cleanliness of the hotel upon arrival, which is important to us with a three year old daughter. Rooms were cleaned daily with a regular supply of clean linen and towels. Our only complaint about the rooms related to the construction whereby you could hear virtually everything from your neighbouring rooms.

Whilst I appreciate we were on holiday in Spain and should not expect British style food I was a little disappointed in the selections provided as the majority seemed to be fish based. I do acknowledge that fish is a major (and healthy) part of the Mediterranean diet but the hotel should realise that the vast majority of their guests come from further afield in Europe and would prefer a more balanced selection. Having said that the food that was served was well presented and plentiful with an excellent array of salads and fresh fruit.

Hotel location was excellent as it was within easy reach of the beach, shops, bars and theme park.

After checking in the only hotel staff we had need of were the bar and restaurant staff, all of whom were efficient and polite and always had a special word for our daughter.

I have given the entertainment only two stars for a reason, we didn't make an effort to see it as we had the immediate impression it was for more senior guests, who i am sure can better reflect its standards.

After reading through some of these reviews I have thrown up my hands in exasperation. I wonder why the British go abroad at all... the food was rubbish, the entertainment rubbish, it was geared towards the French, the Dutch, the German blah blah blah...Nno wonder we are thought of as a nation of moaners.

The entertainment was so bad it was good, thank goodness we were in the company of like minded, intelligent people who could laugh at this irony.

The food was great, unlike many of my fellow Brits I do not drop down dead at the mere sight of a French stick or a German sausage.

This holiday was great and I'll try to tell you why..

The Europa Park is located pretty centrally within the main thrust of Salou. It is removed from the promenade and is a good 5 minute walk from the sea front. It is located on a busy road, however, you do not notice any noise or dust from the vehicles. The reception area is great, with plenty of room for everyone to sit in if the weather isn't any good.

The rooms are small, but does exactly what it says on the tin. If possible try for a lower floor room overlooking the pool, the balconies are 3x the size of the rest.

The food was magnificent, really did have something for everyone regardless of nationality. The show cooking was great with as much as you could eat. The breakfast was great with eggs, sausage, bacon, tomato, mushrooms etc along with continental things such as pastries, cooked meats etc. Free fruit juice and hot drinks added to a great way to start the day. Yes there were a couple of bowls of veg, but you didn't have to eat it!

The entertainment was predominately aimed at the older generation, however, if you stopped to watch the shows they were very entertaining, especially the Spanish music. The dancing was to behold, some absolute shockers which all added to the entertainment value. They also had a kids disco on most nights for an hour or so. The entertainment during the day was let down only by lack or participation rather than effort. Many people chose to ignore the entertainment reps which was pretty rude, as they were only trying to ensure people had a good time.

The staff were great and really helpful, to the point where they were on their hands and knees looking for my sons lost, last dummy.

The hotel is about 20 mins walk away from Port Aventura, it really is a great walk and just 1 long road to get there.

The rooms were cleaned daily and the beds changes 4 times in 2 weeks with fresh towels daily, cant complain at all.

I would love to visit this hotel again as we really did have a great time.

This is a memorable holiday for us as Iproposed to Pauline at the Font Luminate on the main strip ( thats the big fountain that is all lit up).

Staff were good especially Romario who I hope is still there when we go back to visit. Hired a car drove to Barcelona BIG MISTAKE) THE DRIVE THERE WAS GOOD BUT ONCE YOU GET THERE IT IS MAYHEM was not able to stop and shop as it was gridlocked and was told it is like that all the time.

Salou is special to us so Im a wee bit bias and say if you like sun, romantic strolls , laughter, adult fun:) and value for money Go SALOU!!

Stayed at h10 Europa Park and all I can say is, this is the best hotel I've ever stayed at. Towels changed every day, wherever you left them.

Rooms clean as a whistle. Had a TV which was mostly Spanish channels but there was also Sky news on and also the Disney channel, although in Spanish I think.

There were pool tables, a small games room. A computer corner where you can access the internet or play 3 games or either fifa, tennis or crazy taxi.

There was a safe in the rooms which cost I think 12 euros plus had to hand over 10 euros deposit, which you got back at the end of the week.

Food was amazing. Another couple thought the food was poor, but we loved it, as there was selection after selection to choose from and you can eat as much as you like. Desserts were great too. May have been a couple of days where the selection was poor but it was always cooked perfectly and you can not complain, as you not paying any extra if you have gone half board. Food for children could have been a little better if there was burgers, fish fingers etc. (you know how children are, if it doesn

I have just returned from the Europa Park hotel it is very clean and the pool area as well. We watched some mornings as the Germans and French went to put towels on the sunbeds at 7am.

The bedrooms are cleaned out every day with fresh towels also beds made every day. we had a room over lookin the pool with a large balcony.

Entertainment through the day and night is fair more for old people at night which was mainly old fashion dancing.

The bar staff is friendly. Waiter service is alvaible which is good.

we were half board which you got breakfast and dinner which is a self service buffet. i could not believe on the first morning what i sore what was for breakfast there was steamed sauages and mixed vegtables other mornings there was spourts and baby carrots. for evening meal there was poor vararitie to choose from. the waiters are very slow to clear away dirty plates the restaraunt is open from 6:45pm to 9:30pm if you go down at 8:30pm there is hardly any food left.

the location is walking distance to the beach and shops and for port aventura.

We have just arrived home after a fortnight at the hotel. We found the hotel staff very helpful. The rooms were fairly basic although you could hire fridges etc from reception.

The rooms were cleaned daily and bedding etc was changed frequently, we had clean bath towels daily. The restaurent staff were very efficient and extremely happy and friendly.

The hotel was within easy reach of everything - a short walk from the beach, a short bus ride from portaventura, the theme park. I would recommend this hotel to anyone.

The hotel was lovely and very central, food was delicious with a wide variety every day and the food differed daily.

The rooms were basic but had everything we needed, were cleaned every day and we had clean towels everyday

The pool area was clean and there was plenty of sunloungers but you had to be up around 9am to get one.

Entermainment was more focussed to the older person but the drinks were cheap in the hotel so you ignored the entertainment there was also day time activities and a club for young kids.
