We thoroughly enjoyed our time at this hotel. We found the rooms and the hotel overall to be very clean and fresh.

Food excellent in particular presentation was superb. Adults always happy though kids got bored with the food.

All staff from reception to cleaning and bar staff to lifeguards were helpful and very friendly. Hotel well situated for theme park which we all loved.

Shops and centre just more then five minutes walk away. There was a full and varied day and evening entertainment programme, from what we saw this was excellent.

Having read the above you will have realised we would love to visit the Salauris Palace again. Despite our holiday company going bust while we were there, we had a great time and reception manager, Samantha was both sympathetic and helpful.

We stayed at the Salarious palace for a fortnight. What can I say this hotel is lovely I would recommend it to anyone.

There is plenty of entertainment for the kids as well as adults. Every area of the hotel is kept clean and tidy with maids cleaning your room daily, we were very impressed.

The location is about 10-15min walk into the centre of salou if you have booked to this hotel you won't be disappointed we will be returning as we have had a great time.

Don't bother getting an early flight, as we did, had to wait to 2pm to check in.

Everything clean and tidy, rooms cleaned, towels changed every day. Staff very friendly.

No inflatables at the pool, lifeguard every day, can't reserve sunbeds with towels, or they will be taken to reception.

Breakfast okay, dinner not so great, hardly any veg, meat very rare, not up to the standard of a 4 star hotel, chips every night, lived on chip and gravy butties every night.

If staying again, I would go self catering.

This is a lovely hotel and kept very clean. The rooms are of a good size for a family of four.

Food not so good, evening meal especially, as what you have for evening meal was sometimes on the breakfast next morning. i.e. chips and also green peppers in oil. I think they cater more for europeans than the British.

Entertainment was great with shows on every night. The kids club is excellent.

The location is good, only 5-10 minutes walk to the centre of Salou and 10-15 minutes walk to the Portaventura theme park. Hotel staff are very friendly. The food let us down, so I will not go back to this hotel again.

This hotel lived up to its 4 stars in every aspect except for the evening meals.

Its location, layout, space and pool areas are excellent with regular and thorough cleaning of rooms and public areas. The reception staff, maids and entertainment staff were always friendly and willing to help with excellentlevels of english spoken by them all. There is a shop, 2 outside bars, one offering nice, hot food for lunch. The waterfall feature is nice as is the quiet roof top jacuzzi.

The dining area was always clean and is tastefully decorated - unfortunately let down by its repetitive evening meals. Lots of chips, variations on veal and different types of fish. Food only just warm and the deserts uninspiring (if you like cold rice pudding, ice-cream or fruit you will be OK).

Breakfast was fab with all sorts of bread, croissants, cereals, & fruit on offer. The best bit was the cooked breakfast with the freshly made omelettes and pancakes pleasing most holiday makers.

The pool and jacuzzi were clean although no inflatables were allowed.

Only a 10 minute walk from the theme park which we could see from our room at the front of the hotel. Rooms over the pool were noisy at night when the evening entertainment started at 9pm and did not finish until nearly midnight.

There is a new residential site being built just across the road and could be noisy if you were staying in the one block of the hotel to the front.

All in all a lovely standard hotel very close to the parks and the centre. We would stay again but on a breakfast only basis as there are plenty of places to eat very close.

On first impression the hotel is very nice. The location is excellent as you are only a few minutes walk from the centre and about the same to the theme park.

The rooms are cleaned daily and all public areas are spotless. We found the hotel staff very friendly. The hotel has plenty of facilities which cater for all ages. We only saw the entertainment at night a few times but it seemed ok. The food in the hotel was ok, it mainly catered for Spanish but we always found something we would eat.

All in all, this is an excellent hotel in a prime location with a range of good facilities. We really enjoyed our stay and have booked to go again next year.

I would strongly recommend this hotel to anyone!

All in all it wasn't a bad hotel but I wouldn't credit it with being particularly good either.

From the travel agents description, we expected, (rather credulously) that it would be of a high standard. However, during the course of our weeks stay there, we found that the niggles that we had about the hotel seemed to increase.
Perhaps with anyone else, these may have been overlooked, I was not bothered (unlike my husband who made his feelings well known)by the lack of lifts and variety of food - hence the rating) or like my daughter(who seems to have inherited her fathers' fixation on vengeance) by some of the more ill mannered staff.

Our room was cleaned satisfactorily but the linen was changed only once and the floors remained uncleaned.

Entertainment for the little ones was good and night shows were okay, though you'd do better to wander outside.

For a four star hotel with the corresponding price tag, I would recommend opting for the Dorada Palace hotel just up the road which is roughly in the same price range.

All in all a very nice hotel and you wont go far wrong if you've decided to book here. Hotel very clean as you,d expect from a modern recently built hotel.

Rooms cleaned to a very high standard and all public rooms and pool spotlessly clean. Food was ok, had something to eat each day but as the hotel has a high number of Spanish guests I thought the food was catering more for their tastes rather than the british pallate. Saying that I had a good breakfast and tidy evening meal each day, food sometimes not hot but no major complaints.

The location of the hotel is perfect, 10 min walk to theme park and 10 min walk to seafront, 1 hour walk if youre with my wife as the shops are between hotel and seafront.

This hotel is the closest to PortAventura apart from the parks hotels so it is ideal for families. Entertainment geared for Spanish tastes, mini disco at 9.30pm followed by a show, groups or dancers and that finishes around 11pm, bar in hotel closes at 1.30am.

There are many English bars 5 mins walk from hotel that have far better entertainment, The Titanic Bar has a full and very good evenings entertainment. Do not miss TUBBY BROWN on a Thursday, brilliant.

Swimming pool very modern with a waterfall effect and sunbeds a plenty as long as youre there before 10am. No inflatables allowed in pool so please dont waste your money on a dinghy like i did.

Solarium on roof with sunbeds and wooden decking which is a total suntrap, very nice.

All in all an excellant hotel, will certainly stay here again with no hesitation and if you have booked to go there you've made a very wise move.

I took my elderly mother on a 1 weeks holiday to this hotel and as she is disabled and 84 it was ideal. I could not fault the hotel for access to all areas the staff were very friendly and helpful they even mended my mothers wheelchair for us.

The food was excellent with plenty to choose from both breakfast and evening (full English if you want it)

The entertainment was both varied and good for all ages a disco after 11, the music did stop at midnight so if you have a room overlooking the pool where the stage is that not late.

The towels changed every day and sheets 3 times while we were there.
