The hotel Marinada was superb,food brill with a different theme every night.
Very clean hotel,our room had two single beds and a set of bunks for the kids aged 13 and 6. Air con all through the hotel "exelent". Staff and entertainment were very good.
The pool has many trees around it,but in high summer they are very much needed.My family and I cannot recommend this hotel enough.

We stayed at the hotel in July, we are a group of boys who wanted a very lively holiday, with plenty of laughs with a stress free environment.
The Marinada apartments were quite clean and the beds were surprisingly comfortable, even though we were always drunk! However, we were informed that the apartments attracted youths and was not appropriate for families. This is a lie! We were certainly not in the majority! However the location was awesome, right near the clubs and main strip so top notch points for that guys {and gals}.
Although wen we were coming in we were confronted with a very angry security man who hit my mate with a metal stick, not what we call hospitality, and also the maids were quite rude and the reception people were also quite unapproachable, although there was always someone there.

The Marinada is a very impressive looking hotel with glass lifts on the outside of the building thus creating a good impression on arrival.
The staff were really friendly and helpful. They did not all speak English but it must be remembered that this hotel is not one used by English tour operators and caters mainly for the Spanish.
Our room was always clean with a balcony overlooking the swimming pool.
The food was excellent with good variety. The restaurant staff were very friendly and efficient. The price of drinks was very reasonable unlike other hotels we have stayed at in the area.
Entertainment was not great but sufficient. In the last 12 months we have been to Salou 5 times staying at different hotels. In future it will be just the Marinada. Fantastic value for money.

The hotel is situated on a side street off one of the main streets in Salou.
There is a reasonable size freeform pool, childrens pool and a small indoor pool. Plenty of sunbeds but lots of shade. There is also a small playground and mini golf for the kids.
The food was standard hotel fayre. Plenty of choice but aimed at the Europeans although there was always something English(Chicken,Pork,beef) but you can get bored of chips with everything. So no complaints and my daughter (4) loved the desserts.
Not many English at the hotel and we didn't hang round much for the entertainment.
My daughter enjoyed the clown in Jugglers bar round the corner most nights. Lots of bars shops and restruants nearby.

We stayed in a studio in the apartment complex the hotel was across the road.
We found the staff to be quite unhelpful.
Our room was very small and the heat in it killed us we ended up comming home a week early because the heat in the room even with a fan was unbearable and we couldnt sleep.
The room consisted of 2 single beds a small table 1 ring cooker and a small bathroom with no window or extractor fan.
There are 6 floors and two lifts.
We found the staff to be quite unhelpful.

Marinada Aparthotel. No air conditioning. Only two lifts, only one of which goes to the top floor (6th) or attic as it is called, where we stayed.
Were on 4th floor first.
Rooms cleaned daily, fresh towels etc.
Very hot.
Reception staff at Hotel Marianda across the road not very helpful on check in.
Entertainment was very poor - drive you to drink!!!!!

staff were so friendly and could'nt do enough for us. place was spotless. food was excellent. especially the buffet style dinner.

Went to this hotel in september. The pool was almost under total shading because of trees and freezing, my mother cought a cold.
Food was all catered for german etc, if you dont like eating foreign food its no good. It wasn't the best of quality either.
The entertainment was aimed at all the old women which were in the hotel, it was rubbish. A few people we talked too said they wouldnt come back.
The hotel is also a long way from the beach i would say half a mile. And the location is up a side street with lots of dirty looking spanish peoples homes around.
Taxis are easy too get from the hotel, so we spent as much time as possible out of the hotel, we even ate elswere, for some of the time.
