We flew from Manchester airport on the 18th September and we flew into Izmir airport which is only about a 45 min transfer and I highly recommed flying into Izmir instead of Bodrum. We arrived early in the morning and once we got checked in we went for something to eat and drink.

We had a family room and the beds were made everyday and the bedding changed every couple of days. The maids were friendly and always polite, along with the rest of the staff working there. My nephew who is three always wanted a pink straw with his coke at the beach bar and by the end of the holiday the bar man gave this to him without even asking as he reconised him.

The food was lovely although I am not adventureous with my food I have it on good authority from my mum that the food was lovely. I have read a review were it said that the Dutch were rude, however, being British myself the only people that we found were rude and pushed in all the time were the British.

The entertainment was really good it started at 9 every night and it was a different show every night, my nephews favourite was Shrek along with Pirates of the Carribean and Grease.

We went into Kusadasi town once and spent a fourtune as things were so cheap. We went for a very nice meal at Planet Yucca which we only found out about when we got collared on the beach, however, the man who called himself Luis Figo lol was really nice and not pushy. We got a FREE bus there we ate (it was about

Where Do I start..We stayed in the world resort as we had booked a family suite. we based al our time around the pool by the flamingo bar as it was throwing distance from room and great for kids. The hotels cleanliness was faultless.when we arrived at 1.45am they were cleaning the pool !!!

Food was great with a variety of different dishes in the evenings but lunch was same old.

staff were always polite and helpful

Now the beast point...Entertainment..
personally i thought this was bloody awful. very basic with loads of errors. the comdey show was only funny when they couldnt complete simple routines. If it wasnt for the fact that the town was 10mins away by cab we would go there every evening.it was that bad.

As far as the hotel goes it was nice, but not as nice as HV Turkey (aka pegasus palace/tropical). We stayed on the Club side in room 1267 so we were near the main Club side pool and Tropicano restaurant. The entrance to the water park is from the club side. You do feel a bit of a second class citizen on the club side as the big glitzy reception/lobby is on the world side and the shops are better on the world side too. If you want a relaxed lunch (rather than having to get dressed to enter the main restaurants, you also have to walk over to the Pearl bar on the world side where you can just wander into the open air snack bar area in just your swimmers.

We arrived at about 6 in the morning, it was dark and we were bundled into a golf buggy with our luggage and whizzed off to our room. This was very disorientating as no one gave us a map at check in and showed us where we would be. There were maps around the park on big boards but there were also A3 maps you could take from the desk which we discovered a couple of days later which would have really helped!

The family room was big enough for five of us (me, hubby, boy aged 14 and two girls 10 and 8) however my son did have to share the double bed with my 10 year old daughter as the fold-up bed was small and only my 8 year old fitted it. We could have put the kids in the twin room (plus fold-up) but the door opened straight into this room and I felt more comfortable with the me and hubby sleeping nearer the door rather than the kids. Obviously this meant me and hubby had twin beds, much to his disgust! On entering the room you were immediately in the twin room, there was a small corridor bit which had the bathroom off it to one side then straight through to the double bedroom. Straight off the double room was the balcony. There was plenty of wardrobe space and lots of drawers; we didn't even use half of them. Much more generous for storage than we've had on previous holidays. The furniture looked a little tired but was ok. The bathroom also looked a little tired; there were stains on the tiled floor that looked like it hadn't been cleaned but even when I rubbed them they didn't come off. All through the room was tiled floor which did not get cleaned at all during our week stay. By the end of the week we had to make sure we put out flip-flops on when getting out the shower otherwise our feet were black! Towels were changed every day and linen twice a week. Beds were always made neatly even when not changed.

One thing I really liked was that every evening there would be a mini newspaper on your doorstep telling you what was going on the next day. I liked this rather than having to go and find an info board.

The water park was great fun

We had a fabulous 2 weeks at Aqua Fantasy, we were a family of 3 with a 7 year old boy with us.

We stayed on the newer world side of the hotel and had one of the rooms woith the sliding doors seperating our bedroom area from our sons sleeping area which was nice and made it feel a bit more spacious. The rooms and bathroom were very well furnished and very modern. No tea and coffee making facilities in room so take your travel kettle like i did if you want that early morning cuppa!

The coach transfer was shorter than the brouchure said, only just under 2 hours instead of 2hrs 45mins so that was good but we did arrive in the early hours!

Check in was super speedy and efficient and the reception staff were very helpful and friendly throughout the holiday as were all the hotel staff to be fair.

There are 4 main pools at the hotel, world, club, fontana and atlantis (adult only lovely and peaceful when the kids are at kids club!!) and them numerous childrens pools with fountains slides etc and this is on the complex NOT in the water park, we only went to the water park 4 times in our stay, we thought we would be in there every day as we thought our son would be nagging to go in there all the time but there was so much to do on the hotel complex that we ended up suggesting to him every few days that we go to the water park!!! Having said that the water park is great and we could have spent longer in there happily!

The beach is lovely, dark sand looks horrible on first inspection but it is amazing with this glittery gold stuff in it and is sooooooooooooooo soft! The sea is like a bath and really shallow for ages out so great for children.

Food was good, like all all AI places it does get a bit boring towards the end of the 2 weeks but that is through no fault of theirs at all. There was always loads of choice and it was always hot. We ate out at the hotels a la carte restaurants twice during our stay and at a cost of only 20 lire (

Only two words can summarise our experience at Aqua Fantasy - Absolutely Amazing !!. From check in at th airport until collecting our luggage on the the way home the whole thing was completely hassle free. We went with our 3 children aged 11, 7 and 5

On arrival at Bodrum we were met by First Choice rep and shown to our transfer coach. Yes the transfer was 2 hours but we just made sure kids went to the toilet and that we had a drink to have on the journey. On the coach the rep gave out registration cards to be completed to speed up check in at the hotel. On arrival check in was very quick, we put stickers indicating our room number on our luggage and went for something to eat. The bell boy delivered out luggage to the room.

We were on the Club Side of the Resort which we personally prefered. On entering the room we had twin beds and a pull down bed for the kids separated by a door into a corridor from which you had the bathroom door wardrobes and mini bar leading out into our main bedroom with patio doors to a small balcony overlooking the Carribean Pool and beach I have stayed in self catering accommodation which hasnt been a spacious. The beds were really comfortable and air conditioning made sure we slept well.

We used the Tropician Restaurant for breakfast and dinner. This was our first time on an all inclusive basis and we were nervous after reading some reviews, however the food was fabulous. I did take a couple of days to get used to were everything was but the quality and variety were great. The freshly made omlettes in the morning and chefs specialities at night was always special. We eat lunch in the bar behind the Fotana pool and again this was really good - the same stuff each day but while at work the only decision you need to make is what to put in your sandwiches.

The entertainment at night was very good ok there may have been a few nights that were more adult orientated but the kids just laughed along with us without having much of a clue what it was about. The hotel run kids club was great my 7 year old went most days and loved it and was very proud to get his prize of a kids cocktail on stage at night.

All the staff were extremely pleasant and eagar to help with any queries. I were always cleaning.

The Aqua Park was great although we didnt spend as much time there as we thought we would just went in and out as the kids decided they wanted to have a slide or two
