Stayed at the babadan apartments for two weeks and we were very happy that all comments on this site were true. The rooms were basic but very clean and the cleaners came regulary to empty bins and also 3-4 times to change bedding and towels which we were given more than enough.
We ate at the cafe alot especially the children who enjoyed eating by the pool. The full english was very enjoyable according to my husband which was only

The Babadan Apartments are great, basic but adequate and clean.The staff are friendly and will do anything they can to make your stay enjoyable.
When we arrived we were unhappy with the location of the room allocated to us so we asked if there was any possibiliy of a move and there was no problem.
They cash money + travellers cheques at no comission and there is a small shop on site open 24 hours. There is also a snack bar which offers basic meals at reaonable prices.
There are two good sized pools and a poolside bar which is open from early until late.
This is an ideal property if you have younger children as there are kids clubs which seemed to have plenty to offer to keep them amused.
I would recommend the Babadan to anyone wanting a relaxing holiday within striking distance of the beach and town but far enough away for a bit of peace and quiet.

We stayed at the Babadan in July for two weeks, what a great place.
Ozzy behind the bar in the day time speaking Turkish, English and German was really good fun and the night bar man Rosh, well what can I say, what a complete entertainer from remembering your drinks to telling stories until the sun came up.
The apartments were clean (the only problem we had was they put us in a attic room and me standing 6'2 kept hitting my head) but after asking they moved us to a lower apartment.
Can't wait to go back- if we can maybe in September, fingers crossed.

The Babadan was nice and well located. The apartments are OK and fairly well equipped. That said, ours was in the attic with limited headroom due to the camp ceilings and with a fairly small and enclosed balcony.
We had only a 5 foot wardrobe for the 4 of us. We had a double bedroom and also two fold down beds ( these were quite short )in the living room.
The pool areas are nice. However, the early morning "bag a sunbed brigade" were out in force! This meant that from what seemed like dawn the vast majority of sunbeds were booked with towels but no sign of any persons! In fairness halfway through the two weeks the staff and holiday co took steps to control the situation. These were reasonably effective and the situation in the second week was much improved.
The staff are mainly young and all are friendly.

The Babadan Apartments were very centrally situated and one of the best I have ever been at.
They were very clean and the maid service was excellent. Towels changed at least every other day and also hairdryer in the bathroom. The apartments have two good sized swimming pools.
We ate in the Cafe on several occasions and food was very good.
Rush the barman at night was excellent and always had a smile on his face. Simon was also very nice and helpful.
We certainly would go to Babadan Apts again.
Anybody going to these Apartments would have no worries.

Just come back from the Babadan appartments in Icmeler and what a top draw holiday,Rosh,Ozzy and the rest of the staff couldnt be faulted.
Two good sized swimming pools and a kids club which is always a bonus. Recommend to anyone.

The Babadan Apartments are a very good base to stay.Close to all ammenities. The staff are very friendly and the kids reps were very good.
Try not to get a ground floor(We requested a move due to cockroaches, and did not see another one after that)The food at Babadan cafe was basic but the kids had a couple of lunches there and enjoyed it.
The rooms are cleaned to a very good standard.
The location is approx 5-10 minutes from beach, but omly went there once as were disappionted as it is shale even though sea is very clear.
Roch was a great barman and we hope that he has sorted hi future out, all the staff work really hard and don't get payed very much.
You must see the Turkish Night!! I ended up with a boa constrictor around my neck, down my top and up again, and this is the first time that I have ever touched one!

This was our 3rd trip to Turkey and our 1st visit to Babadan. When we arrived in the small hours of the morning the staff welcomed us with open arms. One of them showed us to our room, which was situated by the 2nd pool.
We'd only been in the room for about 5 minutes when we had to ask how to work the air con. The staff were cool about it and showed us how to work it!
The view from the room was amazing and the balcony was extremely clean and spacious. Most of the hotel rooms in Turkey are basically the same but this one seemed to be slightly different.
Every other day the maid came in and cleaned the place. Plus when she changed the beds she made canny patterns with the towels. I tried to copy them but they weren't the same.
I think we only ate there once but what we had was lovely. Entertainment! We didn't stay for it because we ventured out at night. But one night we did pop back as I got too hot and from what we saw it was quite spectacular.
Fire eating, snakes the lot. Also there was a mini disco for the kids. There was a kids club too, my brother got asked to join but being a stroppy 12 year old he rejected the offer.
The apartments overall were fantastic and i'm sure we'll be heading back year in 2006/07. The staff were smashing, particularly the young lad on reception.
Buying a loaf of bread from him at mid night was an experience. He was practically asleep. The bar staff at night were good too. Rosh I think he was called wanted to throw me in the pool and he was obsessed with cutting girls hair!

The apartment was excellent. Everything we needed and more (It even had a dressing table and coat hangers).
The maid service was superb, towels and bedding changed every two days and bins emptied and general tidy daily.
All the staff were kind and helpful and Rashi the barman was great fun, always managed to keep us talking until sunsrise.
The food was great, bacon butties were as good as they are at home!
We didn't really see much on the entertainment side as it seemed as it was aimed at families.
I felt the apartments were definitely more for families than couples but I would definitely go back as I couldn't fault them and there`s plenty of entertainment around Icmeler.
The swimming pools are very cold at first and quite deep so not very good for weak swimmers.

The Babadan Apartments Icmeler Turkey what a fantastic place. The apartments were brilliant, very clean and well looked after the maid service was fantastic.
They washed all the floors, made all the beds, every two days you got clean sheets and towels and the unique way they arranged the towels in all different shapes eg hearts, butterflys, ships and many more the kids thought it was great.
The staff on the day time were great you could order a meal or snack and they would bring it to you so it did't spoil your sunbathing. The pool area was always clean, staff were round all the time making sure it was.
On the evening rosh the barman and sime were the best they entertained you from the minute you walked in till the minute you fell out which by then the sun was back out.
The pools are cleaned every morning, there are two large pools which are a bit deep and a small childs pool. Also the kidzone was a godsend Stinky Suzi and Annoying Amy were fantastic the kids thought it was great they also done some entertainment on a night for the kids like dico and games.
Weve been to icmeler before but this holiday by far was the best, and will deffinetly be going back to the babadan thankyou.
