We booked a year in advance through Goldtrail (GT). The pickup from the Airport was good, the GT staff were all prepared and waiting for us. We were a party of 7 Adults and 8 Children (ranging from 14 yrs down to 19 Months). The coach that we were taken to the resort on was something that should have been used to transport Stock cars to and from races. The coach couldn't get up hills and wouldn't go fast down hills as the breaks were not very good and the suspension made the coach uncontrollable at speeds above 20mph, the air conditioning also did not work which was great at record temps for Turkey. The transfer time to the hotel was 2 hrs 20mins with a comfort break 5 mins into the trip and another 1hr later, to an over priced roadside cafe/Petrol Station. We then had around 5 stops at hotels around Marmaris & Icmeler which were all positioned in the narrow back streets which added to the time.
When we finally dropped the last people off we then set off further and further away from Icmeler centre and we thought OH NO we are miles away !. We were greeted by the Staff at The Dephne Apartments who were very courteous and friendly and rapidly carried our entire luggage to our 3 downstairs rooms or should I say detention cells. The rooms down the stairs next to the pool were poor with cracked toilets, bare electrics, cracked floor tiles in the shower, and not enough beds for one of our families. We were promised rooms in the main hotel later that day after we made a complaint to the Turkish lady owner, a promise they kept. Our new rooms were clean, had more room and had better views, but still had some dodgy fittings. The baby

Absolutely loved this holiday!!
Staff were amazing really really nice people
can't stop crying at the thought of not being there any more definitely returning

Oh, My Goodness! It Was Amazing!
I went with my parents - John and Sharon (I am 13, but classed as adult)- And it was the most fun place to stay in the world (in my personal opinion). The entertainment was the best, great location, great staff. Just perfect for us. I am begging my parents to go there again next year!

What a fantastic holiday. We booked a spur of the moment week away for relaxation and were not disappointed.
The apartments are in a beautiful setting, quiet and residential, surrounded by pine trees and mountains.
From day 1 the staff made our stay great from their friendly family welcome to their wonderful goodbye. All stayed to see us onto the bus including the cleaner!
The children had a ball. The food superb, chef really had a nack.
We were offered lifts to places and assistance when needed.
It was a real family atmosphere, home from home and we are determined to visit again. If you read about the poor linen changes or towels ignore it, just ask the staff they will always let you have clean things. Remember its a small concern, with minimal staff so some change-over days they are exceptionally busy, I just asked or helped myself it was never an issue.
The Goldtrail rep was mot much use but to be honest we didn't need her.

As soon as we arrived at the apartments we were greeted with a friendly and inviting member of staff, we imediatly felt welcomed. Our luggage was taken for us and we were made felt at home. We only there for a short period of time so we wanted to enjoy ourself as much as possible and all the staff made this happen. During the day we all had fun and games around the pool, the staff joined in with all the kids, but respected the decision if you didn't want to take part, with music playing the environment was buzzing. The food was great and the appartments were kept clean and tidy for us. Thank you to everyone at Daphne for making this happen. We will definatly be going back this summer.

This was the second time me and my family stayed at the daphne. We really enjoyed it both times but we found this year was much better as peter had gone and you could do as you liked without him falling out with you for not eating in his place.
The apartments was cleaned everyday and was done well. We enjoyed the food at the daphne and didnt have a problem with it.
The daphne is located well if you are not wanting night life noise. It is quiet at night time and you are surrounded by mountains so is a lovely senary.

We booked very last minute for a week's break in the sunshine and plumped for Turkey not quite knowing what to expect.
We were looking for a family break away from the hustle and bustle of city life and wanted a bit of sunshine, some scenery and the opportunity to just relax and have a leisurely holiday.
It took 3 and a half hours from Bodrum airport (30 minutes stop off) to arrive at Daphne and we were welcomed by the manager Peter who made us feel right at home straight away.
We checked in and put the cases in the apartments which were cleaned every day by really friendly and pleasant people.
Right throughout the stay we were looked after by Peter, Asis and Jimmy who were wonderful hosts and who looked after our every need.
Absolutely no sign of any disruptive guests or neighbours as discussed in previous reviews.
We ate in the Daphne restaurant every day at some point and again we were looked after and the children felt really at home and Peter and the boys were their best friends by the end of our holiday.
The location is absolutely perfect for anyone wanting to be away from the main resort and in stunning scenery (wake up to the views of the mountains on either side of the apartments)
It's just a 10 minute trip into town on the regular bus service or taxi so the location for us couldn't have been any better.
Fantastic hosts - really friendly and great people.
I could tell you about the amazing lightning storm where Peter jumped into the pool to keep our spirits up but I'll leave that for another time !

I visited Daphne with my mum and dad and sister in October.
We had fantastic fun in the pool which was clean and clear and situated in the sunshine outside the apartments with the bar next to it.
Peter and the rest of the staff really looked after us and made sure the apartments were kept clean and tidy all week.
We had food in the bar and restaurant outside in the warm sunshine or in pleasant evening fresh air and it was really good.
I will be going back again as we really had some fun and we thought the apartments were in a great area, nice and quiet and with a stunning view.
Thank you to Peter and his team for a fun holiday in Daphne and we will see you again in the new year for more of the same.

If you are a "football" hooligan you will probably enjoy these holiday apartments, but this is not a place for normal decent people.
Several times we witnessed atrocious behaviour from the staff and guests, and what appeared to be a "rent-a-mob" from a nearby hotel. Guests are encouraged to make as much noise as possible, especially at night. The rent-a-mob would eventually leave shortly before dawn, shouting and screaming up the road. We hardly had one good nights sleep. Nor was it possible to sit quietly by the pool during the day as the constant boom-boom of the same rubbishy music blared out most of the time. Our complaints were ignored.
We spent as much time as we could away from the place.

I have never been on a better holiday. The hotel was lovely and with beautiful surroundings.
All the staff were fabulous and miss all of them! They would have done anything for you. Can't believe I might never see them again.
The Turkish night was good, very funny. The food at the hotel was lovely and everything about it was great.
I will definitely go again
