Stayed at Daphne Apartments in Icmeler. Self catering but the hotel provided meals which were served in a seating area around the pool and pool bar.
I rate the apartments 2 for cleanliness, basic but clean. Maid visited daily, tidied the rooms, emptied the bins. The floors are tiled and after a couple of days the apartment was in need of a sweep, this never happened, otherwise generally, clean.
Hotel food was ok, nothing remarkable.
Located just outside Marmaris, about a 10 minute ride on the Dolmus, but Icmeler is perfectly equipped for everything if you don't wish to venture any further.
Hotel owner Peter will go out of his way to make your stay as comfortable as possible. Peter, his sister and bar staff were extremely friendly and very welcoming.
Entertainment in the form of Turkish night every Thursday. Buffet meal and belly dancer, snake charmer, break dancing entertainment.
Food described as a barbecue, but really cold buffet starter followed by a mixed dish of meat kebab, other meats and chips.
Hotel pool quite deep about 5ft 10, no shallow end. Brilliant for swimmers, and kids with arm bands, no go area for non swimmers. Billiard table and TV available at pool side.
Yes I would visit again but not sure when.

Group of seven friends stayed at the apartments late august 2006 the apatments were basic but very clean. The owner peter and his sister were very welcoming and helpful.
Having stayed in Turkey on many ocasions before we found that these were as good as any we had stayed in previously.
The staff were great and they made our holiday. The apartments were located 25 minutes walk from the center of Icemeler, just whats needed to walk off a meal and a few beers !
We would like to say thank you to all the staff for making us feel very welcome and we wish the all well in the future and wish to see them next year

Run by yobs for yobs, this sub-standard hooligans' paradise majors on noise - excruciatingly loud music day and night, followed by moronic shouting and baying from staff and guests into the small hours. Pity, as it is in a lovely location.

The apartments were spacious and clean,the cleaner came in every day and we had clean towels every day.
The staff were very helpful and they couldnt do enough to help if we needed something,peter and his family made you feel very welcome and made sure there was nothing you needed,ahmed, jj,jimmy and aziz were always game for a laugh our children really liked them because they were such good fun.
The pool area was always clean and tidy the pool was cleaned every day, we also ate in the resturant and the food was brill, if you like garlic mushrooms you must try them they are fantastic.
We met a lot of really nice people which helped make our holiday brilliant and we would like to thank you all. Good luck ahmed with your baby girl. From charlies angels.

The hotel was cleaned on a daily basis, food was ok but we ate out most of the time.
Hotel was a little bit far out from the centre. JJ and jimmy were great and enjoyed swimming when thrown in the pool. Not much entertainment only Turkish night which we didn't go too.
Thought Icemeler was great but would go nearer to centre next time.

We stayed at the Daphne apartments in Icemeler. We were in the attic rooms which prior to going would not have been our first choice. On arrival we were given the choice of two rooms by the friendly staff. The attic rooms were the best choice, we had heaps of space. The apartments were kept clean and the towels were changed every other day.
The staff were excellent, from Peter, Ahmed, Armina, Che Che, Jimmy and the rest.
We enjoyed the location of the apartments which were about a five minutes from the town centre. The bus ride in the "Dolmus" ran about every 15 minutes until about 1am.
We had a few nights eating in the restaurant and the food was really good. We tried the fish cooked in salt, served up by peter which is a feat in it self.
Definitely will return

We stayed at Daphne apartments in June this year. The food was amazing and the staff were too. We love them all JJ, Ilker, Peter, Ahmet etc they made our holiday!
The dolmus stops right outside the door to take you into Icmeler centre of Marmaris.
The entertainment was good there was lots of diffrent bars and restaurants around which were nice for an evening meaal and a drink.
We are definately coming back next year and we cant wait!

We thought the hotel was nice, very basic but clean with air-con. We were on the top floor in the attic rooms where the ceiling was slanted but it didnt cause us problems. We never used the balcony as it was tiny but it was cooler inside anyway!
When we arrived we were dissapointed to be quite far out of the centre of town but thankfully the local bus stopped right outside the hotel. We complained one day that our shower was rubbish and within five mins the shower was fixed.
Would also like to point out there is always a member of staff available, every morning we got home around 6am and we were greeted by the "nightshift"! Very handy for helping us up the stairs to our room!
Overall we were pleased with the hotel, wouldnt stay again but only because of the location Not ideal for partying.

Daphne Apartments/Icemeler
We have just come back after 2 weeks in these apartments, Peter the new Manager and the lads, Ahmed,
Mahmood, Onur, and chef Harold looked after us brilliantley they are very friendly lads and will do anything for you, If anyone going there tell them mam and dad say hello.
