We have been visiting Icmeler for the last 5 years staying in different hotels. The Elif is easily the best one so far. The hotel is located close to the beach, but far enough away from the crowds to ensure that there is plenty of peace and quiet. Every room has magnificent view of the bay and the surrouding area. The rooms are spotless and the staff are exceptional, nothing is too much trouble for them.
Breakfast was a typical Turkish breakfast well presented but nothing special. The food cooked and served at the poolside was very good, freshly cooked and served either by the pool or in the restaurant. Evening meals were of a particular high standard.
The pool is easily big enough to cope with the number of guests and has the sun all day long and has plenty of sun beds.
Although the Elif does not have it's own entertainment it is possible to spent the entire evening there and relax in the company of the friendly and helpful staff.
The Elif is one hotel that we will definitely be coming back to.

After spending two weeks at the Elif hotel we would highly recommend it. It is an old hotel but the cleanliness of it is impeccable.
The maid service is top class, don't bother hanging your towels up they get changed regardless. The rooms were basic but very clean.
The pool was medium sized, and it, along with surrounding area was kept impeccably clean.
Reception staff were very friendly and helpful. There is a small restaurant and combined bar at the front of the hotel, the food is tasty and good value for money. If it is not on the menu don't hesitate to ask for it we can assure you it will be served.
Best of all the bar staff, Bob, Danny, Artilla, and rest of lads were great.
Our holiday was best ever and we can't wait to return on 27/09/04. ic

The Hotel Elif is a small, quiet hotel close to the beach. The rooms are basic but very clean. We went B&B and the breakfasts were typically Turkish - breads, honey, jam, tea and coffee, the same every day. The pool was quite small but adequate for the size of the hotel. Could have done with more sunbeds at the time we went in August. This hotel is good for those who don't want a noisy, butlins type holiday but prefer a quiet relazed atmosphere. Overall basic but nice. Icemeler is a great resort - much preferable to Marmaris which we found too busy for our tastes.

For the second year running, we stayed in the Elif Hotel in a room on the top floor. Magnificent views across the bay, excellent location.
The Turkish night was the best ever staged (in the bar area) - we have visited this resort on 3 previous locations!
Friendly expert staff, and facilities include air conditioning (NO local charge), safe deposit boxes (local charge applies) etc.
This hotel is also popular with Russian and Turkish families (but they prefer not to mix!!!)
