We found this hotel real value for money. Staff were pleasant, the Manager/owner ensures that it runs smoothly and without any trouble. Pool was cleaned each evening, and it was really pleasant to sit out each evening for the open air buffet. Drinks are local quality, but not too bad, we found it more expensive to drink outside of the hotel than we were told. For example, I had a bacardi and coke which was

This was a brilliant holiday and was good for the hole family! When we first got there though it did look a bit scary as the man at the front desk looked like he was part of the Adams family however all of the other staff were very easy to get along with and a good laugh!

We stayed in a room with a double bed and a single it was very very clean and there was maid that come around every day we do not have a complaint about the room at all

Rhe food was nice and set out well there was breakfast in the morning which was very nice and then tea and biscuits in the afternoon (sometimes cakes) and then tea in the evening and the setting was really nice!

the pool had sprayers over the pool!

When we were there I was with my daughter Jodi who was 13/14 at the time and the evening entertainment wasn't that bad everyone was dancing and NOT just the kids! although on the last night the dj put all of the saddest songs on for some reason!

The hotel was not far from the beach and there were alot of restuarants and things to do around the hotel. If you walk along the beach there are companies that do day trips out I advise the Lazy day! I wouldn't go to a mud bath though if your going with the kids as when I went the kids were all screaming

Anyway I would DEFINITELY go again it was brilliant but if you do go I would go for two weeks rather than a week as there is not enough time to do everything in a week

This hotel is sold as a 3* all inclusive option.

The food is of a basic nature, including salads and various Turkish options. If you like typical English burgers/chips etc. then this is not for you.

The hotel is in a perfect location, 2 mins to the beach and resort centre.

The accomodation is basic but very clean with towels and sheets changed daily.

The pool area is pleasant and surrounded by gardens and spectacular views of the mountains.

After having read numerous reports about this hotel I would ask you not to be put off this hotel. We reached this hotel at tea time and first impressions of the hotel reception were clean and tidy - exactly what would be expected of a 3* hotel. The receptionist coped well with the sudden mass of people checking into the hotel and the entire checking in process only took minutes. The suitcases were immediately taken up to our room by the porter. The room consisted of 2 single beds with a small table between and a dressing table, stool, drawers, wardrobe with spare blankets should they be required, remote controlled colour TV, fridge, air conditioning, tiled floor, door opening onto a balcony with 2 patio chairs and a small table (perfectly adequate for 2 persons). The bathroom consisted of a shower cubicle containing an adequately powered shower, wash hand basin and toilet, hairdryer. The room was cleaned thoroughly daily and the sheets and towels also changed daily. Each day the maid left the towels beautifully arranged in flowers, heart shapes etc - something I have only experienced in 4* plus hotels.

All the hotel areas were always spotlessly clean and the gardens beautiful. As for the reports of the smell of oil - on odd occasions there was a small aroma of oil but this was the same in the resort throughout - not just this hotel. As with any resort abroad there are always some wierd smells to be found so all in all this was no different. The exception to the rule with holidays abroad was that this one didn't seem to have any nasty creepy crawlies (or we never experienced them anyway).

The pool area was great, always plenty of sunbeds and tables and chairs to sit around and the hotel located in such a way that the pool was in the sunshine from 8:00am until the time it closed 6:00pm.

Breakfast consisted of a choice of either or all of the following, boiled eggs (3 minutes or 6 minutes), ham, salami, various jams, breads, cereals, cucumber, tomatoes and cheese and the drinks available were coffee, tea, hot water, milk, orange juice or strawberry juice. Again all in all a more than adequate spread, but alas those people who just cannot survive on such a healthy diet and expect a fully cooked English greasy fry up - then perhaps they would be better off staying at home as this just would not suit their taste buds - although there are plenty of nearby restaurants who serve breakfasts for anything from

We went all inclusive for the first time, had a great time. Hotel was spotless and rooms cleaned every day. Fresh towels and bedding also every day.

The food was basic turkish, but with something for everyone. If you want burgers and chips ect, then go to blackpool. There is enough choice, so no one will go hungry.

Location is 2 mins walk from the beach, which again is spotless. The staff can not do enough to help and are all friendly.

Entertainment is basic, but to be honest if you can't entertain yourself on holiday, then dont go!! The only small complaint we would have if any is the location of the club at the back of the hotel, the music does get a bit loud now and again but you soon get used to it.

We would defiantly go again, in fact we are going again in June 2006.

It was my first time here with my mum and sister as we had just lost our dad, so we needed a break.

On arrival to the hotel it did not seem too bad but when we got to the room there were 3 beds and it was that tight you could not move and my sister was in her wheelchair so they had to give us 2 rooms.

Then when we went for food it was not nice as it was all the same every night and the man playing the music was just not playing at all.

It was bad, when we told our rep he did not want to know. So what good was he?

The bar next door was were we was eating if you come out side the main doors and go to your right they were very nice there and the food was good they get 10 out of 10.

The Galeria park hotel needs to be shut down as they should not be open. I would not put my dog in there at least they got the name right? galeria

Arrived at the hotel with my mum at about 6am after a long drive from airport. As soon as I entered the hotel I thought to myself, "How the hell can this 3* hotel cater as an all inclusive?". It was dingy, small and smelly.

The man brought us to our room. The room was even worse. It stank too and had scruffy carpets. The room was really cramped. The shower was pretty old but it did ok. The beds where comfortable enough to sleep in and changed daily. The balcony was really small.

Got up for breakfast which was disguisting & couldn't even drink the tea. The pool area was very clean but really cramped and not enough sun loungers. We sunbathed at the beach very near by everyday instead which was beautiful and watersports very cheap.

When we discovered what the food was like, ate out for breakfast and lunch which was dead cheap and nice.
Loads of places sold full frys for a

myself and my fiancee came on holiday for a relaxing week away without the kids and to do some shopping.we arrived at the hotel after a 2 hour journey from the airport and were greeted with a disgusting smell which couldn't be described.

we checked in and were taken to our room in the annex building, getting to the room was like an assault coarse it was 3 in the morning and there was no lighting between the hotel and the annex.

the rooms itself was basic but clean.the so called mini bar was a fridge which made your drinks warmer with a bottle of water in it.

we had a long lie and went for lunch the following day.lunch consissted of rice, salad ,1 veg & 1 meat dish.the portions they tried to give you were poor and you had to beg to get some more food on your plate,we shouldnt have bothered as it was disgusting anyway.the rice tasted of the smell we were greeted with the night before.starving we were looking forward to our evening meal which we thought must be better than lunch, but it to was very poor ,it was served outside in 30 degrees heat uncovered for 3hours each night, needles to say after day 2 we were both down with food poisoning which ruined the rest of our holiday.

my fiance was worse of than me and as we hadnt seen our rep in the hotel at all and the staff at reception didnt understand me or just couldnt be bothered i was in a panic being in a strange country with no help, luckly there was an english nurse i met the next day who gave us good advice.

the hotel itself should never be a all-inclusive there is only one bar beside the pool and one toilet by the pool which was disgusting for all the residents.the pool area itself was ok but most people who used the pool came down with ear infections.the staff at the bar were friendly and worked hard but the reception staff chose not to know what you were saying.

the entertainment was laughable, turkeys answer to des occoner on a keyboard,he murdered all of my favourate songs,by the end of our stay we still hadnt seen a rep despite our problems.we dont think there is one, overall icemeler is alovely resort with lots of friendly people and great bargain shopping, this was our first time in turkey and would put us off going again, but for anyone else try icemeler but avoid galeria park like the plague,it must only be amatter of time before it is shut down or downgraded to a hostel for the homeless.

After eventually arriving at the Hotel after a 2 hour wait at the Airport, we were welcomed with a stench of diesel in the reception which made us all feel sick. We were then brought to our rooms by a member of staff and when we entered the room we were amazed of the standard of the room. The bathroom was grubby, the shower would never turn off properly, the third bed was a put-up bed which would of been ok except for the fact that the middle legs had to be balance on a rolled up newspaper and pieces of cardboard.
The following morning, we went down for breakfast and was not impressed with the food at all. I appreciate the fact that we were in Turkey but at the time of booking we were told that English food was also on the menu. I have not seen a fried breakfast in the seven days of our stay or a simple piece of toast in the Hotel. We ate out most of the time due to the food quality, and on the one occasion we had an evening meal, the lamb kebab was very fatty and some pieces were raw.
The Hotel staff were very nice to talk to and helped you when you needed it. The Hotel bar staff were always cracking jokes to us and always seemed happy.
The entertainment was a joke! Most nights, there was a man on his keyboard singing, but when I took a closer look, I found out that the man was just miming to the words and his keyboard was turned off!
I will not be coming back to this Hotel as I was very disappointed with it.

Arrived at the Galeria at approx 4pm in the afternoon, to be greated in reception by the infamous stench of diesel. Urgh.

The rooms were clean, but carpet was a tad worn and manky. Balcony? Well, a 3 foot by 3 foot space filled with two tiny chairs a small table. Admittedly the bathroom was much better than what I was expecting, certainly Travel Lodge standard (without the bath).

Food - I can only comment on evening meal as I was never around the Hotel for breakfast, lunch, Soup at midnight etc. For a 3* hotel the choice was diabolical. One rice, one fish/meat, one pasta, usually spaghetti with a sauce equivalent to ketchup with no meat. One night the lamb could only be described as lumps of fat, even the stray cats who came and "begged" for food turned their whiskers up at it and refused to eat it.

The restaurants around the resort were a god send. Food was superb, you can get a decent meal for anywhere between
